Our 2nd DC Tour
Unfortunately our tour bus left 40mins late, due to waiting on our tour guide and waiting on people. The tour was interesting, would I recommend it not sure because of their unprofessionalism. They never addressed the lateness or how they would make up the time.

More than I expected
John, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable. He taught me things I didn’t know. He explained everything. He made us feel at home. Of course the best part was the museum. Honestly, that’s why I purchased this tour. It ended up being more than I expected.

Yes! This is a great tour to do especially if you don’t want to do a lot of walking! We were in DC for the weekend and booked 3 tours but all we’re different. Both the guide Dion and driver, Thomas gave us a great historical narrative and opportunity to see the sights in comfort. It was a very hot day, and the bus was well air conditioned , seats were comfortable. It was not crowded at 50 percent capacity. Both the driver and tour guide were very kind and considerate, they drove us as close as possible to each site we visited. Ice cold bottled water was available throughout the trip. Dion was quite knowledgeable and brought history to life through real examples that highlighted the significance of historic events and ended the tour with a story of hope for the future. We had ample time to explore The Museum of African History & Culture, which for us was a highlight of this experience! Thank you for a memorable tour my family and I truly enjoyed it!

We loved our tour guide John!! We loved the passion he has for DC, its history, and the people here. He is passionate about the comfort and experience of the guests on the tour. He is very dedicated to staying up to date with covid related reopenings so he could clearly communicate with the guests. We would love to have a tour from him again!

Great Experience!
This experience was absolutely amazing for me and my family. John was exceptional with the depth of knowledge with not just African American history, but American history as well. We will visit the African American museum again, because you would need to allocate an entire day to explore the this beautiful place. Tom, the bus driver, was also amazing! Thanks for making our experience unforgettable, John!

The four of us had the best time on our tour with Nick! Due to covid closures of certain sites, we knew there would be some aspects of the experience that we would miss. So Nick went above and beyond to make up for it! His knowledge was truly encyclopedic and his jokes were a huge hit. We’re still quoting him! Thanks for making our tour a highlight of our trip to DC!
