About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- maraxas0 contributionsTerrible experience - use anyone elseTerrible vendor. We booked a trip with them and they canceled the day before without even emailing us to communicate. Definitely book with someone else. They will leave you high and dry on your once in a lifetime vacation.Written 19 September 2024
- Broncos060 contributionsUnacceptableI am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Gray Line Guatemala. We booked a tour and were eagerly waiting to be picked up on the morning of our tour. However after waiting for 15 minutes in the hotel lobby without the tour arriving, we contacted gray line to confirm the arrival time, at which time they advised it was cancelled. There was no prior warning, no attempt to reschedule, and no adequate explanation given. We had planned our day around this tour, and the sudden cancellation not only ruined our plans but also left us scrambling to find an alternative activity. The lack of communication and customer service was unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone considering using Gray Line Guatemala to think twice, as this experience left us frustrated and disappointed. This is not the level of professionalism one expects from a tour company the size of Grey Line. This completely ruined our last day in Guatemala and our chance to explore the city as by this time it was too late to arrange an alternative optionWritten 20 August 2024

- kidmd180 contributionsWonderful experienceWe were the only 2 on the tour cause it was low season. Marvin arrived early at our hotel and waited. He was courteous and attentive and struggled to get us into landmarks that are difficult to access.Written 28 July 2024
- Nkauzins0 contributionsGreat intro to Guatemala CityThis was a perfect afternoon to learn about this vibrant city. We were lucky to happen to drive by a parade which was the coolest experience. It was nice to stop was watch the parade for a while.Written 14 July 2024

- W4780LRjessical0 contributionsDO NOT BOOK - THEY WILL CANCELDO NOT BOOK! My husband and I were so excited to be going to the Market and Atitlan and they cancelled last minute. They messaged me a couple days prior to confirm pick up and when I responded there was absolutely no reply back. I called and messaged privately. When we got back to our place, we noticed they have cancelled our trip last minute. Very very disappointed.Written 24 April 2024
- 640mariannec0 contributionsWeaving in San Juan La LagunaWe attended a weaving class in the village at a place called Tinte Maya, a cooperative of women artisans. The ladies helped us make beautiful scarves in a lovely patio setting. They were so patient with us! It was a really great experienceWritten 26 March 2024
- Happiness418864394530 contributionsGood tourThe views you see in Atitlan are unforgettable, kind of the feeling you get at the Grand Canyon, majestic. The only problem I see is that after a 3 hour ride to the lake, they give you an hour to walk around, the hour is spent ordering and eating your food before returning.Written 27 February 2024
- J3244WIchantalh0 contributionsOrganisation did not pick upIt was horrible, they didn’t pick us up from the airport. We have been waiting for 2 hours. They didn’t answer the phone. At the end we did got our money back, but not our day off that we missed because of the organisation.Written 22 February 2024
- tracyaschall0 contributionsAmazing Tour! Highly RecommendMy daughter and I had the pleasure of touring Guatemala City with our incredibly knowledgeable and multi-lingual guide, Juan Pablo. We learned so much about the history of Guatemala, it's culture and geography while touring the city with Juan and our driver Roberto, who seemed to have supernatural driving abilities. . I highly recommend the tour if you enjoy history.Written 19 February 2024
- vickieedetroit0 contributionsDisappointed, disappearedWe booked this tour so we could see a wide swatch of Guatemala City on our last day of vacation. But the tour did not show up and we waited around for 45 minutes, wondering where they were. They had confirmed via email an hour ahead. When we finally reached them they offered us a tour the next day, which of course did not work. Terrible customer service. Very disappointed.Written 10 February 2024
- galinak8940 contributionsPanoramic Antigua tour from the cruiseOn December 13, 2023 our cruise Celebrity Eclipse arrived to Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala. My wife and I purchased Panoramic Antigua tour. Cruise ship arrived to the port at 9:30 am and at 10:30 am we came down to the busses. To our surprise we found three buses numbered 34 and all passengers had stickers numbered 34 as well. It immediately created confusion and I tried to figure out how they going to navigate the crowd of about 120 people when we eventually will reach the Antiqua - Capital of Guatemala. On the about two hour very busy road to Antiqua we observed frequent eruptions from two active volcanoes and passed village abandoned due to the devastation of prior big eruption. Otherwise, all you will see is a good display of many varieties agricultural products growing in this area. Our guide did his best to keep us interested by taking mostly about agricultural exports and the economy of the country. On the first stop we were unloaded to the small entry of the jade museum. It would be a good informative stop, but not with about four buses with 40 passengers each and the most tourists running to the restrooms at same time. Do not do it. Wait about 10-15 minutes and lines will dissipate. Since we had about 35 to 40 min overall for the visit minus the restroom stop and about 15 min jade lecture, not much time is left to explore the museum/store and run back to find your group with all three groups tagged with same number 34. Eventually we were directed to small busses with about 15 people capacity. Here we come. Tourists from larger busses should settle in small busses with their travelers from the big bus, but it all get mixed up between same group with #34 tags. Very comical and at sad view at same time when many elderly and some overweight people tried to squeeze in and out of the small busses seating and tried to locate the proper bus. Small busses transported us to the center of Antiqua for about 40 min sightseeing. Same variety of souvenirs were sold on the plaza, but I was looking for a shot glasses as I collecting over the many years of travel. Apparently, there is a very large selection of souvenirs selling mall with narrow entrance not really visible from outside. Guides were not providing this information so most tourists were purchasing souvenirs from the street sellers. So, to finalize - this is not the trip to consider for people with limited ability. - jessicasY3867NQ0 contributionsGreat Tour!My mom, daughter, and myself took this tour. Evelyn was so sweet and kind to our family. She took us around the city and answered all of our questions. We had a good time. I would recommend this tour to others, especially if traveling with children.Written 19 January 2024
- Dalila A0 contributionsAntigua Guatemala TourAmazing! JP was the best guide ever! He is kind, knowledgeable, patient and very friendly, always with a smile! My cousin and I didn't have the time to do the Guatemala City part of the tour, but we were delighted by the Antigua Guatemala part of it and couldn't have asked for a better guide! The other 2 couples with us were also a joy to be with, but that was just a strike of luck!!! :) Antigua is beautiful, JP's explanations were great, the local food was delish and the handcraft market has great souveniers. Book this tour, you'll be in great hands!Written 30 December 2023

After visiting Tikal, it is hard to see other ruins because Tikal was so majestic!!! It was about 9 hours driving from Guatemala and it is not easy driving in Guatemala.
