Excellent half-day tour… the anthropology Museum had hundreds of mayan artifacts thousands of years old. Our guide, Pamela, was extremely knowledgeable and an enjoyable person to be with. Pamela really made the tour a pleasure.

Our tour guide Zio was great, as well as the whole process. She picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at our hotel in Antigua by the end of the tour. This was a personalized tour so you tell the guide where you want to go. We did the 6 hour tour and she made lots of recommendations for what we would be able to do. We ended up going to a few nice places: el Palacio Nacional, Guatemala city market place, and el cerro de la Cruz en Antigua. Great experience! Would definitely do this again with a longer tour option.

I don’t think a hundred words is enough but I’ll try to capture what I can this was one of the most amazing personal experiences one can receive. Esteban was my tour guide knowledgeable is an understatement. He’s a walking historian of the culture. The tour was well managed for half day, I was able to get a sense of the surrounding communities, local gems and lots of must see landmarks. The information was insightful and some of his personal experiences you can’t get from the handouts or on a solo tour. I had the pleasure to see their versions of the White House, a graduation in the court yard, loves the way it’s highlighted honoring both Mayan and Spaniard sides which is great to know the history. The central market was awesome and plenty of bargains for some keepsakes to take home you won’t find a lot of the authentic items at the airport. I can go on and on about the tour but I encourage you to try it for yourself.

I had a very amazing time with my tour guide Esteban Calvillo. I sighed up for the 8 hour day trip. Esteban took me to the Kaminaljuyu and Iximche’ Mayans ruins. Esteban is a Great tour guide. Very smart and knowledgeable. He knows so much about the Ancient Mayans history. I highly recommend booking a trip with him.

I asked for a bespoke tour, as I couldn't find what I was looking for, and it wasn't a problem. My guide Esteban was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. We had to make a last minute change of plan and went to see Kaminaljuyu, which was fabulous, I didn't think I would have the chance to see it, and the weather was perfect. I highly recommend it, it really does help to have a local native who knows the roads, the history and the passion to deliver a great day.

Overall I highly recommend this company for a tour of you are visiting Guatemala. My wife and I had a private tour with Esteban Calvillo. This guide was very professional! He arrived on time and explained the Mayan history as we drove to Guatemala City. Our first stop was the Mayan ruins. Esteban has a passion for the Mayan history and gave us details as we observed several ruins within a historical site. We also observed Mayan ceremonies that were taking place onsite. Thereafter we went to the city and he gave us a personal tour of the governmental areas, shopping areas, and churches. Thereafter, we had an excellent Gautemalan lunch and headed back into Antigua. There we visited several historical churches, a convent, and the area view of Antigua with the mountains and volcano that can be observed from this point. Overall this was an extremely well designed tour and would recommend this to anyone visiting Guatemala.

Pamella Lopez was a phenomenal tour guide. Her passion and her love for her country and the sharing of information and her knowledge made me feel immersed into the history of the Guatemalan culture. This was exciting, fun, and she made every minute amazing. Everything was phenomenal!

This was a very personized tour conducted by a very knowledgeable tour guide, Esteban. He was very passionate about the Mayan culture and provided a lot of information about the history of the Mayans, Central America and Guatemala. Overall the tour was very professionally organized, and I highly recommend it!

My tour guide Esteban was very knowledgeable and informative. It was a private tour so just the two of us. It was really nice to get a tour of the city and learn about the Mayan culture and ceremonies. It’s neat because our indigenous people (though different countries and cultures) are actually very Similar which I didn’t know until my tour with him. We had the best time on this tour, it wasn’t a sunset tour as we imagined & there is no longer active Lava but still brilliant. We first went to Pacaya and hiked with a local guide where at the top we had freshly cooked pizza! We then returned to the base and went into Guatemala City for a walk around the historic centre!

Our tour guide Pamela was truly amazing. There is a lot to see in Guatemala City and it’s often passed up to see other great tourist destinations in Guatemala There is a lot of fantastic history to the country, and its people, who are among the friendliest we’ve encountered in all of our traveling

Pamella was our guide and she was excellent in providing historical information, information about the government and current day trends and practices. The vehicle was lovely and we felt very safe. We had a great time with Pamella as our guide. We even arranged for her to pick us up at the airport and drop us at our hotel after the tour. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant, and spoke good English. I highly recommend this tour as it takes you to so many interesting and historical spots in Guatemala City. We really loved the old ruins, the Presidential Palace tour, the Basiliscus, the market where we haggled over prices, and the fact that Pamella was willing to stop for us to get a geocache along our way.

Edwardo was fantastic and it was my first day in Guatemala City. English speaking and considerate, he escorted me to the market, ate lunch, visited the Basilica and helped me exchange money. I explained what I was interested in and he took me to a Mayan Ruin, where I also got to observe locals conducting a Mayan Fire Ritual. This was so interesting to me and I feel he went over and above to help me understand the culture.
