Literally anything would be better than this company. The worst experience I have had in Central America.

Let me first start with, I’ve travelled every continent but Africa and this is far and away the worst experience I’ve had. I used Marvelus for 3 legs of my trip, Antigua to San Pedro, Flores to Semuc Champey, Semuc Champey to Guatemala City. Each trip was between 25-45 minutes late in picking us up. Though they claim to take safety and covid precautions as a pillar of their business no one, even their drivers wore masks, and when we were dropped off for lunch and our bus driver arrived 25 minutes late to pick us up, we called the help desk to get information and were shamed and once the driver finally arrived they accused us of “missing the bus” and demanded to take our photo for the administrative team. Each leg of our trip we felt disrespected. Once I brought these issues up to their customer success team I was told “no way to control the operator to do covid care” as well as I was just “looking for bad things” and that the issue was I’m just an unhappy person because “I have a lot of customers happy becuase they are very happy”. Do yourself a favor, book Uber or Adrenalina Tours, the one shuttle we booked with them from San Pedro to Guatemala City they arrived 20 minutes early to pick us up, wore masks, and had a wonderful understanding of customer service.
