- Private tours include pick up and drop off near the cruise ship, at the airport, and some hotels. Let us know where you will be staying.
- If you weight 280 lbs + you need to contact us to let us know so we can better accommodate you. If the tour is fill you will need to provide an additional fee that will secure you an extra seat.
- No cancellations pass the 48 hours prior to that start of the tour.
- Wear comfortable clothes. Sandals and flip flops are great for this tour. I recommend wearing a cap/hat, and sunglasses.

She created a perfect mix of fun, legends, history, and call-backs to movies shot here on the island. Small air conditioned van allows for more intimate group size. We saw waterfalls, beaches, historic sites and lunch in Kapa’a and so much more. Her years of experience living here provides expert advice on don’t miss parts of the island and excellent restaurants suggestions. She even helped us book a helicopter tour! She had a great plan laid out and was flexible to meet the needs of the group. She was also attentive and accommodating to the needs of some from our group whom had physical limitations. She is a very safe driver, extremely knowledgeable of the area and culture, very sweet and quite funny. She knows everybody and everywhere we went we ran into her local friends who were also quite friendly and helpful, adding to the experience. Our group was part of a niched retreat and she helped us find a great place for a meditation experience we had planned internally. She took us to beautiful waterfalls, historic sites, a great beach picnic area and a nice restaurant for lunch. Her van had large windows so it was easy to see everything while we were driving. We were so happy to have chosen this tour. While mother nature did not want to cooperate with giving us good views of the canyon, CoCo made sure that we had a great experience regardless. Her recommendations for where to eat and what to do were always excellent suggestions. During the tour, she gave us lots of knowledge about the Island, its history, and its culture. On this tour we saw amazing sites, but the best part of the tour was our tour guide Coco and the people. It was evident from before the tour that Coco genuinely cared about the experience she provides with detailed information and constant communication. Her van was extremely comfortable to travel in and she provided a small library of literature for anyone interested. She provided water throughout the tour and constantly was checking in with everyone. Along the way, she asked who had already been where and made impromptu adjustments based on what the group wanted to see/do. By the end it felt like a group of friends living out a grand adventure and she offered to contact her anytime for any help/questions we may need on the island. There are not words to adequately describe how great this tour was and I would recommend this tour over any of the bigger/commercial operations. We were truly on Island time and not rushed and it was perfect!

On our first trip to Kauai, we thought it would be a good idea to do a van tour early during our 2 weeks, to get a lay of the land early. I chose Kauai Soul Travel based on some feedback from our AAA travel agent. Turned out to be the right choice. Our guide, Coco Marie (also the owner) was awesome. She is very knowledgeable of the island, and entertaining in the way she shares it. Our tour started off a little rocky, when one individual took offense to the seat she was given (even though the guy in the front seat offered repeatedly to switch with her), but Coco dealt with it in a very professional manner, and by the time we all loaded up and made it to our first stop, everything was pretty much smoothed over and everyone seemed to be enjoying the tour. My favorite stop was probably Lydgate Beach, but there were many others which were close seconds. The tour has a nice pace to it, the bathroom breaks are frequent enough, and the van seating seemed comfortable to me. I was also surprised how easily we got from the middle of the island, to the south side and then the east side. The length of the tour seems just about right. I'm sure there are many options for this kind of tour, but I highly recommend giving the business to an entrepreneur like Coco. She was great.

We saw 2 waterfalls, turtles, monk sea lions, went to a farmers market, ate lunch at an authentic Hawaiian restaurant, had ice cream, shopped a little, and saw many other wonderful sites. We learned a lot about the history of Kauai and our guide Coco, was very knowledgeable and a real delight. Very accommodating to our needs and interests. I would highly recommend this tour!

This was an awesome tour with Coco as an awesome guide. The tour as well as Coco's commentary and fact sharing of history was beyond our expectations. I wish I had come across her company earlier than I did as we probably would have taken her West Side tour as well. If we make it back to Kauai one day, we will definitely look to book with Kauai Soul again!

The trip was amazing but especially want to give a shout out to our awesome guide Coco Maria who was very attentive, communicative and accommodating from the time of booking until the end. I was a solo traveler but immediately I felt like I was traveling with a group of friends. Great way to experience the wonders of South & East Kawaii. 10 stars!

Want an amazing way to see some of the best spots of the island in comfort? This is the tour you need to take. We love sitting back and not having to drive around the island. Coco is such a fun and engaging host. Along the way she fills the van ride with fun legends, historical knowledge and then lots of laughter. We loved our lunch spot at Lava’s and all the stops along the way. She doesn’t rush her gas and she is willing to take all the pictures of you along the way and they are some great shots, trust me. I will definitely be booking with Coco the next time we come to Kauai!

Highly recommend this tour! Coco was the absolute best😃😃😃! I read great reviews about her before going on the tour. Ladies and gentlemen- she is as advertised. 🙌 Her knowledge of Kauai is amazing and she is an excellent story teller along with the occasional sound effects 😂. It was an absolute pleasure being a part of this tour - it exceeded our expectations. Get ready to see the best that South and East Kauai has to offer.

Coco was an amazing tour guide with extensive knowledge of the history of Kauai, and even the geological formation of the Hawaiian Islands. She had a lot of great "legend" stories of how things came to be on Kauai. I would absolutely use this company again for another tour next time we are on Kauai and highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants a great Kauai tour.

Our group was very impressed with Coco's knowledge, history, myths and facts surrounding Kauai and the Hawaiian Islands for being a non-native. You can tell she had immersed herself into Kauai life. Very intentive to each individual in our group of 11. Wonderful personality. Love 'olelo Kama'ilio (Hawaiian: talk story). Loved lunch at Lava's and the conversations; the weather and staff was wonderful on this day and a big 'muchas gracias' for sharing her hot wings. Our 6+ hours didn't feel like it, it felt much shorter.
We'll be telling our friends and will be sure to look Coco up on our next Kauai adventure.

Our guide Coco Maria, who has lived in Kauai for a long time, was so knowledgeable about the places and history and we really enjoyed her story telling about Hawaiian legends. We saw beautiful waterfalls, unique towns and beaches. One highlight was seeing the sea turtles on the beaches at Poipu. We would really recommend both Coco Maria and her tour!

Our tour originated in Kapa'a. I don't believe she will do a pickup at the port, so I suggest you arrange an Uber or Lyft well in advance. Availability on demand for either service is extremely limited on the island.
