Liam was patient and courteous. He helped me build on what I knew from past experience. I highly recommend him to anyone new and familiar with surfing

We really enjoyed our surf lesson with Liam. He was personable and attentive to our varying skill levels. We were a family of 4, all had taken introductory lessons before, and Liam gave great tips to get us all up on our boards again, and it didn't take long until the two younger members of the family were catching almost every wave that they tried.

We decided to take a surf lesson while visiting Maui for our first time. Sharky was our instructor and was amazing! He explained things well and was super helpful and encouraging. It was reassuring knowing he was right there with you guiding you to stand up and ride a wave. Would love to come back and hire Sharky to teach all our kids. Don't hesitate to book with these guys, they're great and put service first. They're still up and running but feeling the after effects of the Lahaina fires.

Jason was an excellent instructor. I had had lessons before but his tips really helped me get the feel of how to time the wave and get up. Definitely recommend

Great lesson, learned a ton, caught some waves and had a great time! Hubby was there to take photos and videos which was great. Jason was wonderful and I'd totally do it again!

I would highly recommend these guys for surf lessons. They were knowledgable, helpful and FUN! They were very focused on helping all of us get up and enjoy the water, while keeping us safe.

Lots of experience with instructors, met me at the beginner level and helped me from start to finish. Had a smile on my face all day long after the lesson, definitely caught the surfing bug. Rivers to the Sea was a great experience start to finish. Booking was simple and communication was clear. Kyler was a great instructor for my 12 year old son who had never surfed before. He was patient and encouraging. It was such a boost of self-confidence for my son when he rode a wave all the way to shore! Thanks!

Our family - parents and two adult - were all first-time surfers. Our children's only request on our trip to Maui was to surf - so I spent a lot of time online reading about different instructors - and am so glad we went with Rivers to the Sea. We had two amazing instructors for the 4 of us - and we had a blast! We caught lots of waves - as conditions and instruction were perfect! We were hooked. We loved it so much we booked another set of lessons three days later - and had another super fun day. Highly recommend RTTS!

Absolutely an incredible experience. We took our 14 year old who had never surfed before and he had the most amazing time. Eric had him standing on his 3rd try, made the whole thing so much fun. We had such a good time that we booked him again for 3 days later, we were lucky because with Maui only just reopening meant there was a chance for him to go again- loved it that much. They send very, very clear directions and you can connect with them by phone once you are near marker 12.5 to find each other. Never a problem or worry, will definitely do this again when we are in Maui- they just couldn't be more amazing.

Outstanding. Caine was awesome, and we all were able to get up after a few tries. I have gone in the past with large outfits and had 1/16 of the experience

We had the best time in our surfing lesson! Eric gave us great feedback after each of our waves to help us have even better rides on the next ones. We were out there surfing for over an hour and caught a ton of waves. Highly recommend!!

Our family of 6 took surfing lessons while on vacation. These guys are fantastic; They were even able to persuade my reluctant 11 year old to surf, and he had a blast. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again.

My kids loved their surfing lesson with Eric, he was were personable and relatable, he set them up for a successful session, they were both were able to catch few waves and had a lot of fun!!

Great instructor. Very patient and kind. My daughter had used the same instructor and knew she would be great for me. I am 63 years old and this was my first time on a surf board. My instructor knew just how to teach me.
