We absolutely loved every aspect of this experience!! We got to swim with dolphins multiple times, saw humpback whales and went snorkeling with tons of fish and some turtles. The crew were super fun to be around, very kind and fun to chat with and clearly very knowledgeable both in regards to safety for us and the animals as well. They were super great about communication with us and the boat wasn’t overfilled with people either. They clearly try their best to bring the most opportunities to swim with wildlife safely and provide the best afternoon possible. I would absolutely recommend these guys and we will definitely be back!

Crew was awesome!!! Always felt safe and they were always checking in to make sure you felt comfortable. They searched for whales and dolphins vigorously to find them. HIGHLY recommend!

Absolutely do not book with them. We did not see one dolphin and they refused to give us a refund or rebook us. I’m still trying to get a refund. They refuse to speak to me or Email $500 down the drain

I had a great time! the captain was able to locate dolphins and able to drop us in their path. The lunch they provided was simple but hearty. Overall, great experience

The crew were fun, yet professional. Safety was top of their agenda. They asked about and watched out for potential weak swimmers. They assisted those who needed help on and off the boat, which was well maintained. We had alot of swells. Quite a few first-timers, and a few seasoned on ocean waters were seasick. Prepare ahead. Keep your eyes on the horizon if preparation (pre-medication, ginger, wristbands) fail. The staff said it was an above average day for dolphins. We saw 3 pods, swam with two. The second hung around close, allowing us to enjoy their presence above and below the surface for quite q while. The third pod swam near as we headed back to snorkle. Snorkling area was good, but not as populated with fish as I have experienced. However, turtles were all about and that was a blessing. Nice snacks, drinks and a lovely traditional Hawaiian lunch-not large, but quit sufficient. When I heard there was a photographer, my first thoughts were-"oh, a money-maker". However, he was terrific! He got videos of the dolphins and turtles with underwater camera, took candid pictures as we were swimming in the ocean and then the same while on the boat. I was pleased. The cost was $60.00. This allowed my husband to see what we did as he could not attend.

We did have a rare swim with Pygme Killer Whales! Some of us got close. I personally found snorkeling difficult with the vest. I was glad we could take them off for turtle rock. There were 3 sea turtles getting cleaned by fish. I recommend this tour company as 1 of 2 companies that you can actually swim near the dolphins not just view from the deck of a boat.

This was an amazing experience! The crew on the boat were friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. We had 4 kids with us (15, 11, 8, and 5) and they were fantastic with helping them to enjoy the experience, feel comfortable in the open water, and see the wildlife! We can’t wait to book this experience again.

ALOHA! From start to finish, such a great experience. We were picked up on time and they texted us that they were on the way. Very friendly crew who made sure we saw the dolphins and turtles. Everyone felt safe and the only thing we needed to bring was towels and sunscreen. John took photos of everyone on the boat and in the water so you don’t need to worry about capturing the moment- you can be totally present. Highly recommend this adventure with Indigo Ocean Hawaii!

John was our photographer and him and the team did an amazing job making everyone feel comfortable and built the atmosphere. Even though we were not the best swimmers but they really made sure everyone gets a chance with photos and seeing the dolphins and not to mention the amazing lunch. We had a wonderful time and would recommend for anyone else who wants to experience the close up view of swimming with dolphins!

We had the best time ever with Indigo Ocean Hawaii! Our photographer, Dave, went above and beyond to make the experience truly magical. He swam all the way to the bottom of the ocean and found an octopus, which he brought up so we could gently hold—such an incredible moment! We also swam with several large turtles and were lucky enough to see a large pod of wild dolphins. It was pure magic. The captain of our boat was wonderful—she located all the dolphins and positioned us perfectly so we could swim with them multiple times. It was such an incredible experience! The food on the boat was delicious, and I couldn’t get enough of the coconut pudding—I could have eaten a gallon of it! Just a heads-up for fellow vegetarians: bring your own snacks, but avoid bananas since it’s considered bad luck to bring them on boats. We saw so much amazing marine life, including fly fish, pufferfish, parrotfish, trumpet fish, and a variety of others that I couldn’t even name. I would absolutely use this tour again and would request to be on the boat with Dave—he made the experience one we’ll never forget!

This experience was amazing!! The crew members on board were fun & made everyone feel welcomed and safe. I was so close to the dolphins, sea turtles & little tropical fishes!!! A moment I will never forget! The lunch food was great too. Special shout out to the most handsomest captain!!!!

We are the kind of people who want a real life encounter with ocean wildlife instead of a poolside experience. The Indigo staff have made that possible. Very down-to-earth people who treat you with respect. We made our way out into the Ocean looking for any signs of wildlife and we ran into a pod of spotted dolphins! They swam alongside the boat almost close enough to touch! We also hopped in the Ocean with snorkels and were able to watch them swim underneath the surface. We ended our adventure snorkeling in the bay with beautiful fish and sea turtles! Couldn’t be happier with our experience here.

Had the chance to see the dolphins. The crew are friendly and took us to two locations that we could see the whales and dolphins. Amazing view on the boat. Although when we got into water it became harder to follow or see the dolphins, it’s a good journey overall .

Went with friends and family to see the Dolphins which we did. But I am on the fence about this experience. First, we had to sign waivers last minute before we boarded the boat, rather than receiving in advance so we would have time to read it properly. Safety briefing was clear and the main diver, guide was entertaining as well as knowledgeable. Tip: go to the restrooms before the trip as the bathroom below deck is tiny and with the boat moving, not a good substitute. They provide snorkel gear, but you can bring your own. The trip out was fine, but for those wanting to learn about the dolphins, the ecosystem, and such, rather than instagram photos, would reconsider. Stack of laminated dolphin photos that were presumably meant to inform were held and we did not get a lesson. Guide said the dolphins "want to show us their babies" as we rushed into the water before the dolphins swam deeper and away. Crew whooped and hollered about the encounter, and loud music blasted as we headed back. Did stop nearer to shore to see turtles. Had an octopus taken from the deep and passed around with photos taken, while we were in the water. Boat was not too crowded, but would not have wanted any more passengers. The crew did their best regarding safety and checking on passengers from young to senior. And lots of photos were made available later online.
