About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- ahmedsF9308DG0 contributionsBeautifulThe desert trip was beautiful as first time to stay overnight in the desert, it’s absolutely excellent experience to remember! Most of all Mohamed the tour guy was amazing he drove us from Agadir to desert, and showed us pretty much everything he possibly could We just can’t do him justice, because simply he is a star 👍Written 29 January 2025
- Q8812CImariak0 contributionsMuch more than we expected!Thank you Momo for an incredible time! We were so looked after and the tour went through so many interesting stops. The stay in the Sahara was an obvious highlight (it is as spectacular as you think it would be) but actually the stops along the way were great. I felt like we saw the South in the 640 kms we drove. Momo was so informative and a great, funny and generous tour guide. We travelled as two friends (female) and a couple joined the tour as well. Blew all my expectations, everyone was extremely kind, will be back again!Written 22 January 2025
- ellahB759LN0 contributionsAmazing trip to the desertWe had the best time with our guide Momo - he took us to some amazing spots along the way to the desert and felt very safe and looked after the whole time. Food was great and the trip felt very relaxed, even though we packed in a lot of activities. The highlight was the pottery shop and watching the moon rise over the dunes! The desert experience itself was so amazing - thanks so much Momo for your hospitality!Written 20 January 2025
- williamkN1605PN0 contributionsAn incredible experience with a brilliant guide! An incredible experience! The tour was well run, taking us to fascinating spots, including a pottery factory and an argan oil factory. Loads of stops for stunning photos and views. The desert camp is incredible; beautiful scenery and amazing opportunities for stargazing and seeing the sunrise and sunset. Great food too! You feel well looked after with lots of water supplied. A special shout-out to our guide Momo. He is very kind, patient and knowledgeable, keeping a good energy going and with a great sense of humour and always happy to help. Took lots of nice photos for us. Thank you, Momo, for making a brilliant trip even more unforgettable!Written 3 January 2025
- stephschroeder0 contributionsAuthentic Desert AdventureOur family’s 2-day excursion from Agadir to the true desert was spectacular. This trip offered us a unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in Morocco’s stunning diversity of landscapes and rich cultural heritage. The journey kicked off with a scenic drive along the coast, and our stop at Legzira Beach took our breath away. The huge rock arches against the backdrop of the ocean were absolutely stunning – it felt like we were in a postcard. Then, the landscape started to change, and we found ourselves winding through the small-Atlas Mountains, where we were surrounded by rugged, dramatic terrain. It felt like we were in a completely different world with every turn. Our travel guide was very informative and engaging. He shared many stories of Moroccan people and culture. We stopped to admire local pottery, fishing villages, surfers near Sidi Ifni, live camel auctions, a women's collective for argan oils and a silver boutique. We were amazed by the traditional craftsmen. We were also lucky to have a private visit of the Theatre in Tiznit. But the real magic happened as we made our way into the desert. The transition from lush valleys to vast, empty sand dunes was mind-blowing. Then, we headed to El Borj, a modest village, where we finally reached the sand dunes and settled into our nomad-style tents for the night. Sleeping under the stars in the desert was something we’ll never forget. After a delicious dinner, we danced around the campfire with locals playing traditional music, it was hard to believe how peaceful and authentic the whole experience felt. Waking up to the sunrise over the dunes the next morning was the perfect end to our desert adventure. The variety of landscapes, from coastal beaches to mountain ranges to endless desert, made this trip feel like a true adventure. This journeys will stay with us long after we’re back home. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to see Morocco at its most diverse and beautiful!Written 3 January 2025
- bowenla0 contributionsAmazing trip 😁Would highly recommend this trip to get a real desert feeling. From the booking, the correspondence, the pick up, the visits to towns /beaches, the sunset/sunrise , the sleeping, the food, the entertainment it was so well planned and was an amazing experience. Momo and Hussan were our guides and they were so insightful, friendly and happy to help where needed. I would definitely do this trip again and would recommend to others.Written 2 January 2025

- Odyssey119692471490 contributionsDesert tripWe had a great day getting to the desert. Although it was a long way,, the breaks in the journey were interesting and enjoyable. Momo our guide was very knowledgable and spoke great English and French. The desert itself was definitely the highlight and is something we will always remember. We returned with new friends - fellow tourists, our tour guide and the very friendly Barrack at the camp. The home journey was via a completely different route which again ensured the long day was both fun and informative 😊Written 27 November 2024
- christopherdI8700JE0 contributionsWould love to go againWe loved our camel ride! The tour guide picked us up promptly and had our name and contact which added confidence. The animals seemed well looked after, not at all overworked, and our guide was very attentive. I'd love to go again!Written 26 November 2024

- Charlie J0 contributionsAmazing and unforgettable way to discover Morocco and the SaharaIt was an unforgettable tour! Momo was a great guide because he knew alot about Morocco and he took us to places we would never visit like the pottery, silver factory, fisher village, … He is also funny but calm and professional. The evening and night in the Sahara was amazing! We felt very welcome by the locals (berbers) and had good food and drinks. After we had a bonfire and looked at the wonderful night sky. We made some great memories by learning about Morocco. Would really recommend!Written 7 November 2024

- lings_6250 contributionsMomo is the GOAT!We had the best experience with Best Ride Tours for my husbands 50th birthday last week. Momo, our driver, made the entire journey and trip the best experience ever. We've honestly made a friend for life! We travelled with our two children and another family of four! It was just perfect! The journey is long but Momo had planned out the perfect number of stops so each portion wasn't longer than 1.5 hours. It was perfect for me and my son who suffer from travel sickness. We learnt so much about Morocco, the past and hopes for the future. It was just the best experience and we made memories for life! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Momo and Best Ride Tours. They communicated well, they were on time and delivered what they promised .. an experience of a lifetime!Written 29 October 2024

From the very moment Mohammed picked us up from the Riu Tikida Dunas on Monday 9th October we could tell we were going to have a great time. As a driver he was brilliant and as a Tour Guide he was amazing. With a little help from Google Translator he managed to tell us everything about Morocco he could think of. He took us to some great sites on the way to Essouria and finished the trip at the Kasbah in Agadir. What a trip and I would personally recommend Mohammed as a driver.

I was picked up from the airport by Brother Houcine. He was on time, kind and polite. He took me around Agadir for the day.
The following day I jumped onto a prebooked trip to Essauouria.
Houcine is a careful gentle driver. He is very patient and showed us many places and ensured we had regular comfort breaks.
We were not rushed and the best moments were breaking bread together and a moment of destiny along the way.
Houcine has a great sense of humour and a wonder host and driver. I will use him again on my next visit 🙏🏽

We’ve just had a great full day trip from Agadir to Essaouira with our driver and guide, Rachid. He was extremely courteous, a skilful, careful driver, and a knowledgeable guide. He looked after us well, ensuring our safety and security at all times. This tour takes you through beautiful, rugged countryside and you get a real insight into rural life. Rachid included a visit to a women’s Cooperative producing Argan products. Fascinating. Essaouira itself is a very interesting town and we enjoyed wandering around for an hour or two after an excellent fish lunch overlooking the ocean. There’s plenty to see, lovely buildings and a lively atmosphere in the Médina. We really appreciate Rachid’s efforts - he gave us a great day out !

Having read many of the reviews for Best Ride Tours on Trip Advisor, we booked a day trip to Essaouria.
On the dot of 8.15 Rashid arrived at our hotel in a very comfortable saloon car.
Firstly, we were impressed by his courtesy and his very safe driving.
It is about a three hour drive to Essaouria. We had a stop half way there, for a comfort break and coffee.
We had a brief stop on a cliffside to observe a beautiful beach- a surfer’s paradise apparently!
Before arriving at Essaouria we visited an Argan oil women’s co-operative, which was really interesting.
We arrived at the lovely town of Essaouria and we arranged to meet our driver again after a three hour sightseeing walk around.
We enjoyed our day tremendously.
Rashid went over and above his remit to ensure that our day was stress free and relaxed. He even kindly stopped on the return journey for us to examine and photograph a very rare plant which I had seen on the roadside.
Highly recommended. Thank you Rashid!

We had a lovely trip to Essouria with Rashid as our guide. He picked us up in a saloon and drove us to Essouria stopping by a surfing beach to take photos and then to a services for a refreshment break. The car battery died but was up and running within 10 minutes or so and we carried onto Essouria and had lunch in a restaurant by the sea. He provided guided tour of Essouria new town in the car and then gave us 2 hours of free time in the city which was beautiful and definitely worth a visit. It was less busy than Marrakech and relaxed without being excessively pestered with pastel coloured buildings by the sea. It was a great trip and I would reccomend it.

What an amazing place, we were not expecting a beautiful holiday resort with so much history. The smells of the herbs and spices along with the amazing array of colours of the traders goods was stunning.
If you only have time for one trip whilst in AGADIR then take this one. It is a quite along way, but I can assure you it is more than worth it. In fact it was the highlight of our trip.
We didn’t book with our tour operator TUI, we booked direct with Best Ride Tours, recommended by tripadvisor. We emailed them a couple of days before, and they confirmed within a couple of hours. Mohammed was our guide, his English is excellent, In fact he speaks around 5 languages. We paid €60 euros each.
Mohammed broke up the journey by stopping off for a brief moment to watch the surfers, then further down the coast for a photo opportunity of the amazing Atlantic coast. We stopped for a coffee and a comfort break. And then before arriving in Essaquira we stopped at a women’s co-operative where we took a very quick tour of them making food stuffs and beauty products from Argan Oil. We bought some oil and honey dip, you must try it as it was yummy.
Then onto Essaquira, where we meandered through the pedestrianised streets and your senses go into in overload with the sights and smells.
Although there are many restaurants within the old city walls we walked with Mohammed to a beachside restaurant, just a short walk down the promenade, where we ate fresh sea bream.
We have promised ourselves that when we come back to Morocco, we will plan to spend a couple of days here, as we would love to see this place a nighttime.

We had a very good day, the guide Hassane was super nice, smiling, he explained very well. Essaouira is a very pleasant city to visit. Stroll through the Jewish quarter and the small streets, photo stop on the city walls.
The restaurant that Hassane recommended to us was excellent and inexpensive, fish, seafood, tagine, couscous, there is something for everyone.
Visit to make!!
Thanks to our guide :)

Is the visit of the Arganoi Cooperation mandatory? We would like to skip this activity if possible. Is a pick-up from Sol House Taghazout possible?
