About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 636anastasijal0 contributionsDo not miss this tour!Beautiful and activity packed trip, our guide Adbulla kept us busy and entertained all the way, very informative Essaouira tour and a lunch in a great Moroccan cuisine restaurant at reasonable price. Wish all tours were this pleasant , great value and cost, highly recommendedWritten 14 March 2025
- kevintB2049TX0 contributionsA good sampler of MoroccoThis was an excellent choice for us during our week in Agadir. It let us experience many of the different sides of Morocco in a small group and with an inspiring guide - Zachariah. The walled city of Toroudant was the highlight - especially the walk through the mesmerising souks. The oasis at Tiout was instructive showing how water makes human life possible. Our local guide in Tiout was eager but mostly incomprehensible to English speakers. His French was fine. Our lunch - in a Berber house - was tasty and substantial which made the tour very good value as well. Some of the smaller stops added colour - not least the sight of goats grazing in the branches of argon trees. We'd thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to know more than just the beach culture of Agadir.Written 17 February 2025
- JanetM8220 contributionsTaroudant Tiout TripMustafa and Hocein took us on this all day trip. They picked us up from Tamraght where we were staying so we didn’t have to go to Agadir. Their input was interesting and knowledgeable. Taroudant was disappointing. Once you’ve seen one souk you’ve seen them all. The ancient walls are very photogenic and our guide gave us opportunities to stop and take photos. Tiout was extremely interesting. Our guide Aziz was professional and informative. He did not push anything extra on us. He knew we didn’t want to ride donkeys and steered us away from them. He explained the irrigation system and showed us the canals and tanks. The meal at the restaurant was good.Written 15 February 2025
- travelandshop20140 contributionsLagzira is amazing, but tour operator has issuesI decided to go to Agadir because I saw Lagzira and was fascinated by it. It seemed to be still off the beaten trap and not inundated with foreign tourists. I booked this tour with Viator. The booking notes indicated a maximum of 15 people and noted that it could not operate unless there was a minimum number of people, but never specified what the minimum number was. I usually see 2 or 4, but no number was specified. I have never seen that before, so I did not actually think there was a minimum as there are some tours that do not have a minimum. I booked the tour in English. There was another tour, but it did show a minimum number of people, so I was concerned about not getting on that tour. I booked the tour and received an immediate confirmation. After that, I booked my hotel in Agadir since my tour to Lagzira was confirmed. Either the night before I left for Agadir or when I was in transit to Agadir, I got a WhatsApp message asking me if I could do the tour on another day because I was the only person booked. I was saddened and said I really wanted to do this trip. To the tour operators credit, they made it happen by asking other people to switch their day. I am very grateful that I got to go and thanked them for making it happen. The driver arrived. He was nice, but did not speak any English. He spoke French. I speak French, so I was able to do the tour, but it was tiring to speak French the whole day. If I did not speak French, I would have been livid. The other people spoke German and he was able to speak to them in their language of choice. The van was comfortable. The information given in general about Morocco was in line with what I heard from other tour guides during my two weeks in Morocco and I learned new info about Agadir as that was my first day there. The tour stated that there would be: We stopped on a bridge for 5 to 10 minutes to take pictures of pink flamingos. Not part of the itin, but a welcome surprised addition. 1. A 15 minute stop in Tifnit at a pottery store. This ended up being a 30 to 45 minute stop mainly because the other passengers enjoyed their shopping. 2. Massa - pass by - this was indeed a drive through, passby 3. Tiznit -45 minute stop- Visit to a small town of Tiznit - visit medina - this was supposed to be a stop with a visit to a silver factory. This stop never happened. We only drove through the town and the medina was pointed out as we were driving. Instead, our tour guide had to add money to his phone and took a detour into a town. This was about 15 minutes minimum. He apologized, but it took time away from the tour and is unprofessional. We had a "technical stop" on the way to Lagzira...tour guide had to relieve himself on the side of the road. 4. Lagzira beach - free time to swim and relax - lunch on the beach - 3 hours - The waves are very rough and it is hard to swim here. Surfing might even be a challenge. The rock formations themselves were fantastic. You need a good 45 mins to an hour on the beach to take it all in and photos. Wow! It is otherworldly and I was extremely grateful that I got to go on this trip. I loved this and it is a gem and rock collectors dream. So many igneous and other rocks in the sand. This is what I came for and I was stoked. We spent about 1.5 hours. Lunch was advertised as included. There was no lunch on the beach and we were told that lunch would be at the tour guide's home. Huh? Lunch - we drove into the tour guide's city. He stopped off to buy bread. He said that the silver store in Tiznit was likely closed since it was a Friday, so we wouldn't be going there. That was somewhat disappointing because when he mentioned that we would be stopping there in the morning, it sounded very interesting. We indeed had lunch at his home. His home was nice and the lunch was tasty. It's obvious that this is what is likely normally done on this tour. I am a germaphobe, so I did not like the fact that he wanted us to eat "Berber style" with our hands. I ate in another Berber home on my earlier trip, and there were always serving spoons. Since there was no where else to eat lunch, I had no choice. I used my fork and took one portion of food from the tagine and the couscous. He tossed the bread out of the bag on the table. His wife did a great job. He had a clean toilet, but the toilet did not have a seat. A few toilets are like that in Africa and Asia, but when you have mainly Western clients on your tour, please put a seat. Apart from the pottery place, there was no where else to sit on a toilet. It was uncomfortable since this was a 10 hour tour. He announced that he had to take a shower and pray, so we could make ourselves comfortable and relax. We spent about 20 to 30 minutes after eating to wait on him. None of this was on the itinerary, so it was confusing then delaying. We went "off roading" to the dessert. He said it was not part of the Sahara. There was a managed looking camel and two other camels that were there for photo purposes. Maybe a very tiny person could ride one of them. I went to the Sahara, so this was a bit of a joke to me and even the other couple who had not been to the desert yet did not seem to care. We went to another impromptu stop and saw a dam. The view was great and I did appreciate having the opportunity to see this. We saw the Corniche and Midfelt Beach on the way to and from Lagzira. There was another "technical stop" before we got to Agadir. I tipped the tour guide because it was a long tour and I think he did try to make up for missing Tiznit with the other stops. After the tour, the operator reached out to me and asked me to review the tour. I did that, then I was harassed about my comments and they asked me to increase my rating from a 3 to a 4. They told me that if they knew I would have given them a bad review, they would have cancelled the tour. I had to block them on Whatapp and I was told by Viator that they would speak to them since it was unacceptable to be this rude to a customer. Viator maintained the 3 star rating, but removed my comments I am guessing at the request of the tour operator. The tour itself was good, but it missed one key stop in omitting Tiznit. I was grateful because I got to go, but if I am not being offered a tour that I paid for in the language of my choice and it is omitting one of the highlights, and I can't use a complete toilet for 10 hours, I think a 3 star review is reasonable. I hope they do not treat other customers who point out concerns about their tour this way in the future.Written 10 November 2024

- Ravchek0 contributionsI can’t recommendDidn’t arrive, waited nearly two hours. Booked via Viator and the worst thing was the taxi in front of arrivals that I finally took was cheaper! Should have gone with them before the night charge became applicable and would have been cheaper moreWritten 26 March 2024

- Coastal6057620 contributionsRip off in every possible way2 of us on same camel, long stroll among building waste, plastic bags....rubbish. if you can call been walked on camel , each one tied to one in front and guide walking the front one along path covered in builders waste , all kind of rubbish which you usually see along some motorways an experience , go for it. Sunset BBQ dinner, lol, in kind of a tent, come s cous with bit of over cooked chicken and sip of over sweetened mint tea. Bottom line, couldn't wait to be over and done with it.Written 9 February 2024

Really enjoyed our trip. Tour guide was very informative regarding Marrakech, giving us enough time to explore and we didn't feel rushed, he even had the patience to wait for my mom to catch up because she has mobility problems.
Overall a really enjoyable experience.

This tour was also exceptional ! We had an amazing time going to the villages in Morocco! It was a super special and different experience ! Our driver was great! It took about a hour and a half to get to the mountain but we stopped along the way at the camel ridding and valleys. Once we got to the mountains, our tour guide showed us around the villages and waterfalls. It was a beautiful scenery and he has great knowledge about the area. It was so much fun and our guides were amazing. I would recommend Redali Tours without hesitation ... Thank you again.

Disappointing. Tour operator was an hour late. Was supposed to be at 7am but got collected at 8am. Wasn’t given any contact, reply or apology as to when being collected and why they were late. Tour guide was polite and nice in the beginning. Journey took 3.5 hours there and nearly over 4 hours back. Had only one photo stop on way to Marrakesh of the goats in tree and one toilet break. No toilet on coach. Some air conditioning on coach. A little historical and education system information provided. First stopped off outside only at the mosque for a couple of minutes then saw a building where the dead are worshiped and prayed to and then we walked off to the medina.
We expected to then see some other sites with the tour guide such as Palácio da Bahia but instead we’re told it was free time (3 hours approx) and that if we wanted to see other sites like Palácio da Bahia we would have to do this in our free time which was difficult to do as the tour guide with a lot of the group were going for lunch. Lunch isn’t included on the tour unless you book with or thorough certain hotels so we we’re then given the option on the day after the herbal shop to come pay to eat or sit at the chosen restaurant or go elsewhere. We chose to go elsewhere as most of the group spoke French and we did not. We were shown our meeting point for collection at 5pm. Other tours offer it until 6pm and wee thought we’d at least get to be in Marrakesh until a bit later due to arriving very late but we weren’t able to. We went through the market but didn’t feel we had enough experience to tackle the winding streets of the medina without a tour guide as it’s massive and the second biggest medina in Africa and we were told that it’s very easy to get lost in it, so we were unable to visit any of the shops that we had wished to stop off in the beginning on the hurried walk through the medina. The local people are quite lovely but some naughtily try to rip you off. The snake charmers and monkey pic men are very cruel and abuse the animals but the people seemed to think it’s ok. It’s not ok to strangle a lonely on a chain and swing it around and drag it and keep it in tiny crammed cages. It’s not ok to see snakes mouth shut or defang the snakes so they can’t eat. The snakes were young and looked so scared and weak from exhaustion and being prodded at and from and hunger and thirst. I am terrified of snakes but even I felt greatly pity and sadness for them.
We were collected at around 5pm at the meeting point and taken for the long journey back home. We were taken. The long route back to our hotel. We had missed breakfast because of the lateness of the tour operator and then we missed lunch due to the late return time of the tour operator. We had a frosty reception back home and tour guide didn’t really talk to us much. Maybe it’s because we didn’t tip him like he said a lot of the others did but we were not happy and very tired from the day and journey that tip from the last thing on our minds. Others might like this sort of trip but we didn’t. We were left feeling wanting and disappointed.
