Paid up for the 11.30 entry. Still had to wait over half an hour. The gardens are now a complete disappointment. In the past you went there to get some beautiful peace and quiet away from the noise of Marrakesh. It is now so busy and so full of people taking selfies that it is a relief to get back to the hubbub of the streets.

Just returned from a tour of Morocco with Rick's Voyage. The tour visited all the countries highlights and the guide Tahar was more than happy to help with any special requests.

Tahar was an incredible guide and driver! My sister and I had so much fun. Tahar drove us around this amazing country, and he was tireless with us! He is funny, friendly and always up for whatever we wanted to do. We laughed a lot! He knows this country like the back of his hand. We always felt safe with Tahar. He watched out for us every second of our trip and entertained us along the way. We will miss Tahar and Morocco ♥️♥️

This is an excellent tour to see Morocco in a short time. We booked this trip on Viator at a short notice (less than 1 month) and Rick's voyage was flexible enough to accommodate us. Mr. Tahar El Ghali was our guide and he was very professional, attentive and funny. He took good care of us. We booked this trip primarily because it offered the option to customize as we wished, We added additional visits to Chefchaouen and Essaouira that were really worth it. Chefchaouen was our favorite followed by Fes. We covered a lot of miles on this trip an it was a great way to see Morocco at our pace and our leisure without the hassle of a big tour group. We only stopped where we wanted and were not under any pressure to shop or eat at any specific place or wait for other people. In Meknes and Fas, we had two local guides that were young and enthusiastic and were really very professional and knowledgeable. Mr. El Ghali gave us very good tips about local restaurants, shops and took us everywhere we wanted to go and even waited for us until we had our dinners and drove us back. He was always generous and courteous. The quality of the hotels was variable. You have to keep in mind that a 3/4 stars in Morocco is not the North American or European standard. Rick's voyage will change your accommodation if you don't like it but you would not want to waste time from such a busy trip to change hotels. So, do your due diligence before and check the hotels you are assigned and ask to change before hand. You also have the option to upgrade to 4/5 stars hotels after booking which maybe an interesting option for some. Overall, great trip and I would definitely recommend it.

We went on a 12 night excursion with Magic lamp tours. The tour was spectacular, Mohammed the owner and Said the tour guide made the trip for us. with out us using Magic lamp tours our holiday would of been ruined. Morocco is a very tricky country to navigate and me and my wife dont speak French. We will be back in 2 years time to finish off what we never saw and do more of the places we did see. Morocco is amazing and will suit any traveler as long as you have adventure in your bones. Desert to snow capped mountains all in one photo.Food is out of this world and changed my mind about Muslim countries. The west has painted a bad picture and I am glad I was able to see what north Africans are really about. Will see you again Morocco, Inchallah

We have had an amazing 12 nights in Moroccan imperial cities from Casablanca, Fes, Marrakech, Agadir, Essaouira ... I Highlyrecommend Ricks Voyage to everyone would like to have a Dream holidays in Morocco, best hotels, best Riads, very good and nice Driver and Guide... can't ask for better. Thanks Ricks Voyage.

Recently returned from a fabulous trip to Morocco. Many thanks to our driver Tahar El Ghali for making it so special. Each and every day he was prompt, helpful, kind, funny. Just a genuine person we bonded with and had an excellent time with. If any issues/questions or concerns were raised they were handled immediately. We were picked up at the airport in Casablanca and brought to our hotel to recover from the long flight. NOTE: be sure to get the specific name of the first hotel you are staying in as it is required by Immigration officers. We had a bit of a problem as we had a general itinerary but no specific hotels. They decided this document was enough but not until after a struggle. We spent one night in Casablanca, one night in Meknes (we were not at all happy with the first Riad we were brought to. Rooms were scarce due to a festival in town but this was not up to standards. Mr. El Ghali immediately found a different lodging more to our taste. Next was two nights in Fes and finally three nights in Marrakech before the drive back to the airport in Casablanca for the flight home. Each day a full itinerary was prepared. We would drive to a meeting place and be met with a local guide that would show us around and explain all the sights this great country has to offer. Our favorite guide was Mohammad in Meknes as he made history come to life. Day 7 was to be relaxed down time but we chose instead to take another excursion to the shore town of Essaouira, again met by private guide to be shown around. Things to be aware of...4* hotel standards in Africa may not be the same as 4* where you are from so speak up. All accommodations except the Riad in Fes were fine. We also made it clear in advance we did not want high pressure sales by the guides. In this I mean "Let's see how a carpet/textile/tanning is made" and they steer you to a shop where you are pushed to buy. Learning to say "la, shukraan" meaning No thank you goes a long way. We had a great time and you will too. We are hoping to get back soon for a different area of Africa secure in the knowledge that we are in good hands with Ricks Voyage..where a camel is your friend :)

Most enjoyable family break we had. Very well organized with the very pleasant, helpful and adaptable guide/Driver Mr Elghali. Would like to do other parts of Morocco with the Elghali. Highly recommended.

I spent seven wonderful days exploring the country and culture of Morocco. Everything I needed or asked for was cheerfully provided. All the guides were very capable and professional. My driver/host Tahar should be commended as he experienced a loss in his family but stayed with me for my entire visit. I would like to go back and visit the areas I didn't get to - the High Atlas and the Sahara. Of course with Ricks Voyage.
