About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- David B0 contributionsNeed to improve airport arrivalI have travelled to many countries around the world but the arrival process at Marrakech airport ranks the worst I have ever experienced. If this is a country keen to welcome tourists they need to get their security into the 21st century. I have had less trouble getting into Cuba over 30 years ago! On arrival you are confronted with huge queues for passport control. We waited over 2 hours before arriving in front of the most obnoxious passport guard I have ever encountered. While most other guards were happily taking couples and families he sent me back behind the line as he only did one person at a time. The time he would save seeing families staying at the same address would speed things up considerably. He was also extremely slow. Once past him we had someone else check our passport. Then had to find our cases as the belts were now stopped and cases had been removed. Once we found them we then had to put them through another scanning machine. And finally after such a wait almost 3 hours after we landed we were lucky that our driver was still patiently waiting for us - unlike many other drivers. One tip - pretend your are ill or infirm (we saw one person with a stick on the plane who was clearly able bodied who suddenly became crippled as she entered the airport). Cue the airport staff ushering her to the fast track security and whisked through in minutes! Having children with you is a help in this respect too. Welcoming tourism? Morocco you have much to improve.Written 11 September 2024

- Aski670 contributionsLow value for moneyMorocco, a North African country bordering the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, is distinguished by its Berber, Arabian and European cultural influences. It’s near yet so exotic, as it combines snow-capped peaks above 4000m, Atlantic beaches, deserts and Argan trees on which goats climb to eat the greasy nuts. At the moment this country is the world’s record-holder for three major achievements: 1) Competitive forcing of tourists to part with their cash, a sport in which the locals excell in all the 3 variations: a) subtle, b) gentle/persuasive, c) violent/rude coercion. 2) Speed ticketing. Don’t self drive in this country unless you are prepared to pay roughly €3,50 per kilometer in speeding tickets. The limits are schizophrenically placed, and no matter how slow you go, spotters will have communicated a tourist approaching about 10km before the road block and the radar gun will always intelligently show 7km/h above the 60km/h limit. 3) The most expensive plate of grilled sardines on earth at 32€ or 8€ per sardine. When we ordered and pre-paid for 4 portions we received 4 sardines. Only after threatening to call the police, a deluge of exquisite grilled sardines arrived (about 30+ of them). Overall the country is going vertically to the ground in its quest to attract tourism and precious foreign currency. They have nothing to sell except unskilled street smart male workers with high hormonal charges, a few leather bags, overpriced pottery, camel’s hair carpets (not bad but factor in 3 hours of negotiations) and oil of Argan, which together with Quinoa is one of the superfoods of the second millenium. If only cars could run on Argan oil the country would be so rich.Written 17 March 2024
- EliF_130 contributionsIs Morrocco really for you?Just returned from a 15 day tour around Morrocco. The country is hot and dry and resembles other middle eastern destinations. The country has a rich and colourful history. If you happen to be Jewish, you will enjoy a VIP treatment all the way as Jews and Berbers are acknowledged as the founders of nowadays Morrocco. It is still a monarchy where the king holds ultimate power and has palaces in every major city (incl. Paris). The big cities have a Medina (old city surrounded by walls) with narrow winding alley ways, Souks, mosques, chaotic traffic, polluted air and dilapidated infrastructure. If you have high ecological and hygiene standards, this trip may turn your stomach inside out. All the hospitality staff we encountered were extremely polite and welcoming. Tipping is common practice and you will be constantly approached by someone offering a service or trying to sell you something. Alcoholic drinks are limited to hotels in the bigger cities. Enjoying a nice cold beer in the hottest places you will visit can be a challenge. This travel destinations will be attractive to someone who has never visited the middle east before, likes the culture and ancient history of this part of the world or wishes to participate in recreational activities such as camel and quad bike rides, wind/kite surfing, paragliding etc. Travellers with mobility issues (back, hips, knees) may find walking tours in Medinas and accommodation in Riads (Wealthy homes converted to hotels) quite difficult. There are no elevators and you have to climb narrow steep stairs to the room and rooftop sitting area. Not suitable for travellers who cannot handle the hot summer weather. Poor WiFi coverage in hotel rooms.Written 21 September 2023
- Martina M0 contributionsThe best trip! Shukran Good Travelling in Morocco!I can definitely say, we made the best choice when we decided to travel with Good Travelling in Morocco. My partner and I had the best experience, even better than what we were expecting! Everything was perfect, from the organisation and communication pre-trip with Moha, to the amazing time spent travelling across Morocco with our guide and friend Ahmed. Having Ahmed with us, made our trip perfect. His culture, friendliness and good heart are just a few things I can say about him! He took very well care of us and we are really thankful for everything! I won’t stop saying thank you for the surprise he and the staff made happen for my partner whose birthday happened during the night we spent in the desert (an amazing Luxury Camp). They surprised him with a lovely birthday cake singing to him the best wishes! Can you imagine that? An amazing gift! Morocco is beautiful! We booked a 7 days tour and we had a lot of flexibility and free time during the day. The tour was perfectly tailored for us and Moha made sure to include the places we wanted to visit. The Riads where we stayed were great and all of them had a delicious breakfast included and friendly staff. Ahmed always gave us historical views of the places, suggestions and adapted the schedule to our needs. The restaurants he proposed along the way were always good and easy to go to. We landed in Marrakesh and visited plenty of beautiful places including the Valleys and the desert which of course, was the highlight of our trip! There is nothing we would change and we have already recommended Good Travelling in Morocco to our friends and family! Please do not have a second thought if you wish to have the best time in Morocco, go for them and you won’t be disappointed! Thank you again guys, hopefully we’ll see you again soon!Written 8 October 2022
- adilroohi890 contributionsOne of the best trips ever!My wife and I booked a 9 day tour with Good Travelling in Morocco from June 12-20, we had Ahmed as our tour guide. This was hands-down one of the best trips we've ever had. Moha handled all of our inquiries and bookings before the trip, he was very responsive and easy to work with. Ahmed was an absolutely amazing tour guide, so knowledgable about the different cities and sights in Morocco and so friendly. We liked how we had free time in each city to explore on our own, but the time spent with Ahmed and the different tour guides in each city was so memorable. We've been telling all of our friends and family about Good Travelling in Morocco (so many inquiries once people saw our social media posts!). We would absolutely recommend Good Travelling in Morocco for everyone interested in Morocco, it'll be the trip of a lifetime!Written 14 July 2022
- aguiar_monica960 contributionsAMAZING Experience! This was by far an amazing trip! I did this trip with my mom and we absolutely loved every second of it. We loved the 11 day itinerary that was prepared for us. It was seamless and put together wonderfully in a way that allowed us to see many of the beautiful cities Morocco has to offer. Our tour started in Marrakech and allowed us to see other cities like Fes, the beautiful blue city of Chefchaouen, Casablanca, and the breathtaking Sahara Desert in Merzouga. We do wish we would've had more time in Casablanca and Chefchaouen but this is something you can request from Moha, who is very helpful, knowledgeable, and had the best customer service when putting our itinerary together. Ahmed (Jama) who we nick named Jimmy was AMAZING. He made us feel safe at all times and made sure to make any adjustments to our itinerary as we liked. I would 120% recommend this tour company to any friends and family because both Moha and Jimmy made our time in Morocco an unforgettable one. THANK YOU, we will be back in Morocco again... - R3AYrebecas0 contributionsTour of the desert during the virusAfter looking for countries where we can travel during this Corona virus we found out that morocco allowed tourist to enter with a hotel reservation or an agency reservation , we made some research of a desert tour , after being in contact with a lot of tour operators we decided to go with GOOD TRAVELLING IN MOROCCO. Because of the quick answer we received from the owner Moha he is genius and helpful by providing every details concerning the trip we want to do and also safety , Ahmed our guide was amazing from the first we meet he start giving us informations about the morocco history and of each place we stoped by , the highlight of our tour was definitely the desert (it was my dream since I was child because my father was a solder in the Sahara ) the stars gazing the landscape , highlight recommended THANK YOU SO MUCH MUCH GOOD TRAVELLING IN MOROCCO FOR THIS AMAZING TOURWritten 14 January 2021
- ANGIEW8480 contributions3 day tour from Fez to MarrakeshFrom the time we booked the trip (couple months before the actual tour) up to the day of and continue after the tour, Moha has been extremely quick and clear in his response through Whatsapp with all our questions. On the day of the tour, our English speaking and knowledgeable guide Ahmed picked us up in a 4x4 from our riad and started our journey from Fez towards Erg Chebbi. Ahmed was explaining the sites through the car ride all along the trip, and giving us tips and sharing stories of native Moroccan's lives. Words cannot describe the camel ride into camp, the sunset was exceptional, and the camp itself (Mirage Luxury Camp) was beyond our expectation (wifi, comfortable bed, clean toilet, hot shower). Next day we continue onto Gorges Dades and stayed in a basic but lovely hotel (Hotel Babylon Dades). 3rd day we stopped by Aït Benhaddou on our way to Marrakesh. Ahmed made sure we met up with our Riad's housekeeper before leaving, and he texted me afterwards to ensure that I arrived at the riad safely.Written 20 March 2020
- StarportDX0 contributions3 Day Tour From Marrakesh to Sahara DesertMy wife and I took this 3 day tour arranged by Mohammed. Our driver/guide Ahmed picked us up from our hotel in Marrakech for a first day drive to Dades Valley where we spent the night in an amazing Riad (Dar Essyaha) that included dinner and breakfast the next morning. The next day we departed Dades on our way to Merzouga town where we transferred to a 4x4 that drove us through the desert to our luxury camp where we spent our second night watching the sunset and admiring the stars. The final day, our driver/guide Ahmed dropped us at Errachidia Airport for our flight to Fes. Ahmed was an excellent and funny guided driver who spent the ride explaining to us the sights and culture of Morocco. Use this tour company if you are planning to stay in the Sahara Desert. I could not give a higher recommendation. We came from New York, USA and felt safe throughout.Written 20 February 2020
- FGazza0 contributionsShort but intense: experience to try!We just had 3 days to spend for the tour but anyway we wanted to reach the desert from Marrakech. The guys of Good Travelling in Morocco have done their best to satisfy our request (they kindly picked us up directly at Marrakech airport!). Our driver, Youssef, allows us to visit the most beautiful landscape and he led us to very nice restaurants and bars that were at the same time welcoming and clean (it could be easy in that region to end up in dirty places and ruin the entire trip for the stomach pain. We thank Youssef for avoiding that). During the trip Youssef has not been only a driver, but also a guide that has clarified all our doubts and curiosities about the Moroccan lifestyle and culture. We were 6, and all of us advise to try this beautiful experience with Good Travelling in Morocco!Written 16 February 2020
- 542maicolc0 contributionsintense travel and great servicefor reasons of time we had to understand the desert tour to adapt it to our needs, the driver was very friendly and helpful and he tried to satisfy all our requests, a great one. the negative note of the trip was the choice of places (typical shops, bars and especially restaurants) in which the driver advised us to stop, these places were all places for tourists and prices similar to those in Europe. for the rest we had a great time, thanks for everythingWritten 10 February 2020

- travelling-model0 contributionsThe best luxury private tour to the Merzouga desert, SaharaWe took a 3D2N private desert tour with Good traveling in Morocco . They picked we up from Marrakech at 6:30 am and arrived at Ait Benhaddou (Game of the Thrones shooting site) at 11:00, with a break just in time to stretch our legs before arrived there. Then we had a late lunch around 2pm (as our request) and arrived to Merzouga desert around 5pm. We had camel ride during sunset, it's a unbelievable experience and they did a perfect arrangement! (PS. The driver also able to find us the cleanest wash room during the trip, he knows everything and he is very knowledgeable) On the second day, we chose camel ride instead of car ride from desert camp to the hotel near the ERH airport. We did not ask for any stop but the driver of Good traveling in Morocco brough us to see an old abandoned village, a well, authentic camps of nomads, singing shows of a African trib, take photo with a fox and beautiful valley/canyon. Besides, he also brought us to the restaurant that serve the best traditional Moroccan pizza with curry lamb inside for lunch. We were surprise and delighted for all of the extra arrangements. We were very please to join this amazing tour. Furthermore, the driver stayed at the same hotel as us in order to ensure he won't be late to send us to ERH airport on the third morning even his home is only half hour drive from our hotel. He helped us to handle the lugguages until we went inside the immigration. (most people go to Fes instead of ERH airport but we have limited time and we gotta fly back to Madrid after desert trip) Everything is perfectly arranged: the car is comfortable, the driver is responsible, professional and speaks good English,. The company always replies my emails quick before the trip. I have no word to express how lucky that I decided to use Good traveling in Morocco. I have to let you know this was a long and an unusual journey but Good travelling Morocco accompanied all of my requests and found me a luxury desert camp with the best heavenly mattress that perfectly match with my expectation at an unbelievable low price. The desert is beautiful and this is definitely worth this long travel. I highly recommend you go with Good travelling in Morocco and I believe it is the best company which able to offer the best value luxurious tour!Written 3 January 2020

This was a trip of a lifetime! I have recommended this company and this itinerary to all my friends and family. Moha was easy to communicate with and answered all my questions in advance of our trip. When my husband and I arrived, Ahmed met us at the airport and we set off on our journey. Ahmed was a wonderful tour guide and I would recommend requesting him. He was kind, knowledgeable, an excellent driver, and extremely accommodating. When we needed to make extra stops, for example, to get a COVID test before returning home, Ahmed worked it into the itinerary and made it very easy for us. We visited amazing places, stayed at comfortable riads, ate wonderful food, and met many friendly people. It was unreal to have a private driver for ten days. The itinerary was action-packed, but we also had a good balance of down-time to rest and recover when we needed it. I am an anxious traveler, and I cannot say enough good things about this experience. We loved every minute!
