About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Farida K0 contributionsFez, Old Medina - the ancient city of charmsBeautiful ancient city and definitely worth visiting. People are lovely, especially the Berber community. Lots of lanes and even more souls- a definite sensory overload! A tour guide is highly recommended and you only need a half day tour-average 300MAD total in order to see the main tourist attractions. We had a guide called Mehdi, who was well educated and a very thoughtful person with a high level of local knowledge- was worth it! Only book tours with registered guides. A three day stay is plenty to see most of the old medina. The mosques and university is a must see. Don’t forget to treat yourself to a hamam! Choose time sensibly according to your heat tolerance. July is very hot and humid so better to come before the temperatures reach 41 degrees! There are no fans and hardly any places with AC, so a real struggle. Book a Riad to experience something authentic about the old medina. Watch out for the many hustlers and scouts who deliberately target tourists, so be aware and don’t feel guilty to refuse their help. Use a map or Google maps to navigate. If lost, better to ask women than the men! Teenagers and young men will also attempt to persuade you to go with them - advice is to say no. They will convince you that you are lost and then take you around in circles to justify their demand for a payment. In addition, anyone offering to help will likely expect a payment, so again be careful. Taxis are also dishonest so better to check with hotel or Riad for an estimated fare to your destination. Should also ensure the taxi puts on the meter and take note of the taxi number in case of any issues. Police are very determined to make tourists feel safe and welcome. Hardly any place will accept Visa or Credit card so must bring plenty of cash as there is lots of buy! Wear good walking shoes and rucksack is more sensible as there is a lot of steep climbs. Toilets are not always good so make sure to travel with tissues and toiletries to keep you clean and hygienic. Finally, do not assume you can take photos, always best to check with shop owners otherwise some locals are very offended.Written 18 July 2024
- Nomad7572640 contributionsAmazing Experience with knowledgeable guide.Isham our driver and guide was Fantastic from the very beginning, personalized attention and a wealth of knowledge, he expertly took us on a whole day tour through the history and landscapes of this amazing place, gave us recommendations on what to visit and where to eat, even after the tour was over we were able to write him back and ask about other places and restaurants, the gift that keeps on giving.Written 9 July 2024
- stephaniehL5133ZH0 contributionsAmazing trip!!!I had the pleasure of having an amazing driver for my trip through Morocco, Tougi Jalal. He was very knowledgeable of all the places I wanted to visit and I have to say a very good sport. It was pouring rain and I still wanted to stop at locations and he did not discourage it. Jalal even took my photos!! We had some long driving days through the mountains and Jalal had various music, Arabic as well as American. Jalal should become a tour guide as his knowledge of the country and the history rated above some tour guides I hired. He was also attentive to the road conditions. 5 star rating!!!!!Written 14 May 2024
- rolandfG1863LT0 contributionsPromotion ScamOn the website of the Garage there are several promotions but when you come to collect they tell you "Not today" ????. I call it a scam.Written 24 February 2024
- Inspire608311828450 contributionsHalloween at the Mango Bar and Grill.Mango Bar and Grill makes great food. We had a great time at the Halloween party. We also visit Climax in Bangla Road, they organized live entertainment for the evening.Written 12 November 2023
- T5663TZjoshuat0 contributionsStrong enjoyable tripWonderful itinerary and the experience was generally interesting and enjoyable. Driver needed to stop using phone when driving (and perhaps buy a Bluetooth headset for calls); including not attempting to watch a video while driving! My wife absolutely hates it when I try to text while driving and I fully understand why. I don't mind stopping more often if driver needs to take a break or do calls; also don't mind driving less aggressively even if it takes more time. I love driving on vacation so am hesitant to criticize a fellow driver.Written 1 April 2023
- stephaniemcq0 contributionsGreat drive and tours with MoustafaPrivate Car hire from Fez to Erg Chebbi. Then Erg Chebbi to Ouarzazate. Our driver Moustafa was the absolute greatest. He was so knowledgeable and really wanted to show us a good time on our long drive transfers. He stoped at many neat spots that we would have never known about otherwise. He was also very accommodating stopping for all my picture taking haha. His driving skills were just what you hope for when you book a driver in a foreign country. We were very comfortable and felt very safe. We wish we would have booked with Moustafa for our entire trip!Written 30 October 2022

- gkd44340 contributionsAll you need to see in FezI only had one free day in Fez and this was the perfect tour. This tour makes you feel like Fez can easily be done in one day without feeling rushed and run around like crazy. We hit all the important things to see. Most importantly, my guide, Hakim, completely tailored to my interest and always checked in to get feedback on whether I was interested in seeing x, y or z. He didn't do the thing where guides just take to you places or shops you might not be interested in and then feel pressure to shop. He was really knowlegeable about the city, as he grew up in the Medina and even as we strolled around the streets and alleys, alot of locals would say hi to him by name. You get a real local experience. This was a perfect length and pace of a tour for me.Written 21 February 2020
- Jolene N0 contributionsSaw everything there was to see!The tour was really good. Was taken to all of the main points of interest ( history lesson included at each! ), all in one day. Highly recommend. Guide was so knowledgeable and friendly.Written 3 January 2020

- Steven S0 contributionsGreat Tour w Wonderful GuideHad a great day visiting various places from the new town, the palace and the Médina. Abdul grew up in the Médina, was very knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. I found having a guide to be very useful to familiarize myself with the surrounding a base before exploring on my own.Written 27 November 2019
- Sameerah C0 contributionsMy favorite TourThis tour far exceeded my expectations. My guide Zakaria was the best one for the job. He is Fesi AND still lives in the Médina. I learned so much about the history of the city and country. I would highly recommend this tour as a MUST! Such great experiences and lifetime memories created.Written 13 October 2019
- adrianae9730 contributionsBest Medina tour!! Very knowledgeableMy sister and I absolutely loved our tour. Our tour guide, Fuad, knew English, Spanish, and Arabic so we were able to talk to him in English and Spanish and he could speak to locals in Arabic and teach us some words too. He was very knowledgeable about Fez and all the best places to visit for hand made goods. He grew up in the Medina so he knew the place like the back of his hand. The Medina in Fez can be very overwhelming as a tourist and he made us feel very safe and comfortable. He knew shortcuts and was very patient about us taking pictures and taking time to shop and asking for us to get good prices. He was super respectful and friendly at the same time I couldn't have asked for a better guide. I recommend 100%Written 23 September 2019
