About
Fez' fame stands as Morocco's spiritual, cultural, and intellectual centre. It houses the world's oldest university, Qaraouine University. It has a strong hold on both conservative and modernist groups. It is Morocco's second-largest city. The new section of the old medina (14th century) will be our first destination as we strand along its spacious streets. The Mullah (Jewish Quarter) is the main neighbourhood in this section of the medina. Then we will allow Fez El-Bali, or the old town (8th century) within the walls, to transport us into the depths of time and space. We will wander through its maze of little streets in search of transcendence. We will see potters, smiths, artisans, and donkeys carrying things from all origins, offering quick glances at guests, and exploring its maze streets...

Superb Guidance, Driving & Beauty! Book w Nisrine!
We had the privilege to be guided by Nisrine for our first trip to Morocco! Not only was she a safe, knowledgeable driver, she found us the most outstanding lodgings on parts of our trip that we had not already booked: we had many back and forth conversations with her via Whatsapp and had planned the basics of this, our first trip to Morocco, on our own. We then asked her to "fill in". In Fez, she found us a terrific guide who really helped us get a perspective on the city....from an overview of the entire city, visit to the Palace, a walk through the Medina, the old Jewish cemetery and Jewish Quarter, we learned so much; being 3 artists (plus one) we had high expectations and were not disappointed. Nisrine then organized a desert excursion, to the middle and high Atlas, through gorges and mountains with beautiful accommodations! All driving was done in her big comfortable Mercedes van. The desert was our very favorite and we hope to go back and spend more time (she booked us at "Pueblo Tuareg"). She then drove us to Meknes, dropped us there for 3 days (highly unrated city!) and then on to Tangier by way of Chefchouen, (sp) where she booked us a lovely lunch overlooking the green valley and hills. On to Tangier. From there we were on our own and met up with Nisrine for a drive down the coast to Casablanca for our departure, stopping to see an old Roman port city. We asked her to find us a great send off meal and she took us into Rabat to a lovely modern restaurant where we feasted on delicious seafood dishes near a small yacht club overlooking the new "spaceship" tower and Zaha Hadid's gorgeous theater there. We were blown away by the beauty of this amazing country and Nisrine helped to make it memorable; it was very clear to us that she delights in sharing the beauty of her country. We felt safe and welcomed everywhere we went. Thank you Nisrine! We can't wait to return.

Fabulous tour of Fez and luxury desert stay.
We booked a private 3 day desert tour and a day trip to Volubilis and Meknes with Fez Culture Tours. Nisrine (the owner) was in touch beforehand to offer assistance on arrival in Fez and the lovely Yassine was sent to meet us at the train station and take us to our Riad. We hadn’t planned to hire a guide to see Fez but on Yassine’s recommendation we decided to and Nisrine promptly arranged for us to have a half day tour on one of our free days. Our guide Maryam was fantastic and very knowledgeable having grown up in Fez medina. She showed us all the important sites and took us to a fantastic street food stall for lunch. We were very glad to have had a guide, Fez medina is like a maze and easy to get lost in! Yassine was our driver for the day trip to Volubilis (one of my favourite places of our whole holiday) and for our desert trip. We really enjoyed his company and he drove very carefully and safely on the at times very hectic roads. Yassine was very knowledgeable (he is studying to become a guide in the future), pointing out places of interest as we went along and stopping at good spots for photo opportunities. The desert camp booked by Nisrine (Pueblo Tourag) was exceptional, really beautiful and private and far away from the massive tourist camps that we saw near Merzouga. We had the camp to ourselves and wished we were staying longer! Our second night in Dades Valley was also in a beautiful authentic Riad. In both places the food was fantastic, very gourmet and a nice change from the many tagine and couscous meals we’d had up to that point. All in all we had a fantastic few days being looked after by Yassine and would highly recommend Fez Culture tours. Thank you for a great trip!

          The Best Driver In Morocco
We did much more than the 8 Day Tour. Nisrine is an amazing tour driver. Apparently the only female licensed "driver" in Morocco. She's not only a very, very good driver, she's caring and was totally attentive to our needs, knowing the best places to "rest stop" and pick-up drop off from various sites. We had an unfortunate medical emergency in Fez and she arrived at 11PM to take my wife to an ER Clinic, she stayed with us the entire time, driving us back to the Riad/Medina entrance, and accompanied us on the Medina walk back to the Riad. The next day she took us to the modern Polytechnic Clinic in Fez for follow-up treatment and again stayed with us the entire time, translating and facilitating services. Her vehicle is a brand new Mercedes, very comfortable. She picked us up in Casablanca, drove us to Fez, we toured Fez and the surrounding countryside with her, then she drove back to Casablanca for one night to see the Mosque, then on to Marrakesh, where she dropped us at our hotel and we said goodbye. You will not find a better driver. Highly recommended.

A magical tour with the only female driver around Morocco
I am a female solo traveler; I consulted several travel agencies to have a female driver during my stay in Morocco, until I found FEZ CULTURE TOURS. The team at Fez Culture Tours organised everything I needed, hotels, guides and answered all my questions. From Marrakech, through the High Atlas, the desert, the views on nature were splendid, the people were very welcoming. Arriving at Fez, Morocco's oldest city, it was just gorgeous. My female driver Nisrine was able to know all the places and she gave me all the information about each village we travelled through during our tour. I highly recommend this woman driver to feel comfortable when discovering Morocco. Thank you Nisrine for such a beautiful trip.

We were very surprised by the variety of cultures of this beautiful country. Nisrine helped us to get closer to the locals and discover their habits. Thanks to Fez Culture Tours for giving us all the resources to make our journey unforgettable.

          Best tour around Morocco
Fez Culture Tours has created an unforgettable itinerary for a journey that we have wanted to make for a long time. Upon our arrival at Casablanca airport, we were greeted at the arrival gate by our driver Nisrine, a professional driver and tour guide through Morocco, who was with us the entire trip. We were driven in a very spacious and comfortable Mercedes van which made for great sightseeing throughout our trip. My daughters (12 and 14 years old) really appreciated the variety of activities and we really felt we were experiencing the real Moroccan culture. Normally i don’t use travel agencies to plan our trip, but I felt like it was necessary for a trip like this, and I'm so grateful that I chose FEZ CULTURE TOURS. I highly recommend this company and Nisrine!

Fez to Marrakech through the Atlas Mountains
My husband and I are normally independent travelers planning the whole itinerary and transportation wherever we go. Given the cultural richness of Morocco and challenges of navigating the old cities and remote areas and languages, we sought out more support. The rewards of that choice will forever keep Morocco and its people in a special place in my heart. We had stereotyped views of tour services as large groups of people following guides with flags, but there is a whole other experience that comes with tours and services from Fez Culture Tours (FCT) or their associates. Private tours of medinas, cities, palaces, came from a FCT close colleague. Instead of feeling like a tourist I felt like a welcomed visitor making a new friend with each experience. We would spend a half or full day, learning special perspectives and having the luxury of every question answered. Our informal conversations made for genuine experiences. From Fez through the Atlas Mountains to Marrakech, we were blessed to have FCT’s Nisrine enriching our journey as our driver and now, friend. I get very nervous (and even sick) with cliffs, hairpin turns (check out Tizi n’Tichka pass), and heavy traffic. Not once did I have a problem. (I wish my husband drove as well!). As a female world traveler, I would be remiss not to comment on the continuum of cultural norms for women in Morocco. Discussions about proper dress and modesty, levels of education, and career choices for women were common topics throughout our visit with everyone. Nisrine is the first certified professional driver and the reaction by her male counterparts at each of our stops was notable. I was so proud to support her business and willingness to expand perspective of women in Morocco. When I think about Morocco now, I don’t just think about the cultural richness but all the good natured, caring people I spent time with, especially Nisrine.

          Fez airport transfer
As well as accomodating our late flight at short notice, Nisrine was a lovely driver with extremely reasonable prices and extremely knowledgeable about the local area and culture. On the way from the airport to Medina, she explained more about the new town, giving us the perfect welcome to Fes. I would recommend her services to anyone, whether completely new to Morocco like we were or a returning visitor. We can’t wait to do a bigger tour with her someday! Thanks Nisrine

Nisrine offered a brilliant service. She was friendly and supportive, had lots to tell us about Fez, and got us to exactly where we needed to be. She was really willing to go the extra mile. I’d highly recommend a trip with Nisrine. I’m looking forward to returning to Fez soon and joining her on one of her tours through the desert.

          Very nice!
Nisrine was a superb tour guide. Even though we booked the tour only one day in advance, she organized everything perfectly and chose cool hotels to stay. We always felt very safe and she also fulfilled special requests (stopping at a beer store). We had a lot of interessting and funny conversations, but also she left room for private time of our group. I can really recommend. Merci beaucoup :)

It was a perfect day! It felt as if I had time traveled back to the past. The guided experience she took me to made me feel as if I was in a movie. We explored the old medina that is 12 centuries old, she took me to a high point first where the view of the whole fortress was amazing! After that we explored the Jewish quarter which is 9 centuries old. Although she is not Vegan herself, she is Vegan-conscious and knows that I only eat food and use products that don't contain animals. So that is helpful because she knew I wouldn't like to go to any leatherwork destinations and such.

She is very friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and honest. I highly recommend her and I will definitely be hiring her again in the future.
