Visiting Berber homes to eat lunch and drink tea gives this day a more personal feel than traditional tours, with time to ride a camel, hike, and ride a mule to a Berber community high in the mountains.

Our day with Mohamed was better than expected. It was a really beautiful and special experience. Mohamed was a great guide who organised this trip perfectly. His mother is one of the best cooks around and the lunch was just delicous. The perfect ending of the day was watching the sunset in the desert.

Unforgettable!!. Great value for Money
Jan 2020
We had an amazing day. we have been collected from our hotel, then to the ectic local colourful traditional market. A stop to experience the camel ride and dressed like the berbers; then we had a break where we have been served tea and tasted local bread and oils and nut butter... While there we have been introduced to the magic world of oil of argan. Then an hike to the mountains to see the Atlas and a stop to the waterfalls. Another break with tea to a remote village and we finally walked to the place where we had lunch. Hassan is a good guide and a very nice guy. He took us to his family town and offered us tea in his house. We enjoyed the view of the Atlas mountains from his terrace. We strongly recommend to choose this trip and this guide!

Good Tour but Horrible Communication
Our guide Mohamed was excellent and the tour was quite interesting. However, there was ZERO communication from the tour operator about when and where we were supposed to meet on the day of the tour. We finally chased them down late on the night before the tour. Not a good way to treat your customers. Also the tour didn't depart until 9:45 am versus the 9:00 time shown in the TripAdvisor listing.

Atlas with Ali!
Perfect day trip! Ali was an amazing guide! Took us to a number of great spots, was very friendly and enjoyable. He was very flexible and not in a rush to stay on any certain schedule. Highly recommend the trip.

Amazing day trip
Worth every penny! Our driver Yousafe was friendly and our guide Mohammad lmjdoub was extremely knowledgeable and very accommodating. Knew the best spots for pictures and answered every question thrown his way. Drove into the mountains, stopped for breakfast at womens cooperative where Argan oil is made, hiked through the mountains (unfortunately waterfalls were dry due to weather conditions) until a stop off for lunch (traditional tagine which was amazing). After lunch, we travelled to the Agafay desert where we did our camel trek followed by a scenic drive back to our hotel. Would highly recommend this trip

Fantastic day
Mar 2020 • Friends
A great day trip. Beautiful surroundings. Our guide Ali was an amazing host. Lovely to be in the company of such a humble man. The tour covered the range of Berber life. Camel ride, a visit to the women’s cooperative where Argan oil is made, a walk through the village, lovely lunch, and an intimate visit to a Berber home. Highly recommended and a great day away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Great Atlas trip with the best guide Omar
Dec 2019 • Family
We have spent a great day at mountains Atlas with the best guide Omar B. and the driver Belhaj L. We took with us our 2 years old daughter and she was enjoying every minute of the trip. We went to the Atlas Mountains hike, we did a camel ride in the Agafay Desert and got to eat a wonderful traditional Moroccan three course meal. Of course we got to drink a lot of mint tea. Thanks to Omar and Belhaj we have had the best time in Marocco. Highly recommended!

Great day out, thanks to our fab guides
Feb 2020
We had a great day out last week with our driver Abdou, and walking guide Mohammed Salah (good name!). Picking us up promptly from our hotel, Abdou was wonderfully cheerful and informative company and great with our kids. We enjoyed a scenic drive up into the mountains - we skipped the camel ride as we were keen to get out and hiking (the camel ride happens in a valley en route) but it was fun to weave up into the hills. We then trekked up for around 2 hours with Mohammed to find a waterfall and get some awesome views across the range - our kids (7 & 11) managed fine, though you need a few layers for chillier walking up through the trees (bring snacks and water!). Everyone is super friendly and lots of invitations to have tea with their families if you are keen to really get to know the Berber culture. Delicious and much needed late lunch on a rooftop, then a drive back down in the sunshine. Very memorable, friendly and well run day. Thanks!

Great tour with amazing guide
This tour was fabulous. Great camel ride experience and tour around Atlas mountains. Our guide Ali was superb. He was very knowlegable and had a great sense of humour. The fact that he was a local from an Atlas village helped a lot as he knew everyone there!
