- 982petram0 contributionsUnforgettable Adventure with Warm Hospitality – A Few Extra Days Would Make It Perfect! We had a wonderful experience overall! The activities were enjoyable, though they sometimes felt a bit rushed due to the tight schedule. I’d suggest extending the stay to two nights or offering an option for a three-night package, so guests can fully take in the incredible camp setting. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with truly kind people. Our driver, Hamid, was exceptional—always friendly, attentive, and eager to share insights about the sights along our journey.Written 5 November 2024
- Traveler557608666920 contributionsDifferent from what was originally communicated. The trip was very different from what was initially discussed with the travel agency. The entire itinerary was filled with tourist shopping stops, leaving little time for the actual attractions. They exaggerated every attraction on the route, but none of it was as described. For example, the so-called “rose garden” had no roses in bloom and was simply a rest stop. Although they said all fees were included, we had to pay extra for guides. The second night’s “luxury” desert accommodation turned out to be basic lodging, completely different from the photos. We also paid for a private taxi back to Fes for three people, but ended up crammed into a 14-seater minibus. Nothing was as promised. They even ask for positive reviews, which makes the ratings unreliable—don’t trust them. However, I do appreciate the driver, Damou and the camel guide, who did their best to keep the trip from being a total disappointment. Once again, this is not an honest travel agency and is not worth the price.Written 3 November 2024
- Seapearltoo0 contributionsRelaxing change of pace from bustling Marrakech! This experience was part of my Birthday celebration in Morocco! I'm so glad that I decided to book this trip to Essaouria. Although the drive is lengthy, it was broken up by two stops...first, a food break at a roadside restaurant that had plenty of options including snacks! Our second stop was at a woman owned Argan Oil Co-op (Cooperative Marjana) that was stocked with numerous products for both culinary and cosmetic use. I purchased several different items to get me started, and a business card with web address for future orders! We were also given a tour of how the Argan Oil is extracted and processed by hand which was interesting and informative. The coastal city of Essaouria was charming...full of shops and restaurants within the ancient walls! We ate the most delicious hot Moroccan orange cake topped with vanilla ice cream at a small cafe run by a lovely French lady. I wish that I had taken a picture of her establishment so I would have a name to give you, but it's located outside of the Medina walls and has an open courtyard for seating. I believe that it may cater to Vegetarians...everything that we ate and drank was scrumptious! Last, but not least I want to say a huge thank you again to Ibrahim who was our Tour driver for this trip! His very pleasant personality and safe driving enabled me to completely relax and enjoy the ride!!! I would definitely and highly recommend this trip to anyone who is looking for a break from the bustle of Marrakech and would like to see the coast of Morocco. Looking forward to my next visit to this mysterious destination! <3Written 30 October 2024
- Vivi928000 contributionsAmazing trip !What an amazing tour. We travel with 2 kids (11yo, 4yo), and we first worried about the long car ride, but our driver was absolutely amazing, never once anyone got sick, and the scenery of the whole trip kept us awake. We were also lucky to have the best trip mates. Every stop were worth the travel, just wow. Knowing that there was a limited timeframe, we couldn't stay long at every stop, but it would be really great if we could stop half an hour more or 1 more hour at every site. A big thank you to our driver and the nicest staff at the camp.Written 29 October 2024
- CharlesM5300 contributionsFull day trip to EssaouiraThis is a full day trip to Essaouira, starting with a 7:30 am pickup near our riad. The trip to the coastal town took until about noon as we had one pit stop and another stop at a woman's cooperative to learn about and buy their products, such as argon oil. We had 4 full hours on our own to visit the town. The return to Marrakech took just over 3 hours, so this is a long day. The bus was more of a mini bus rather than one of the large tour coaches. Seating and A/C were comfortable. The coastal town of Essaouira is attractive with the fortified wall around the medina and viewpoint over the Atlantic. We walked along the elevated wall with a line of cannons and enjoyed the view along the rough coastline. The medina was charming and full of shops and restaurants. We had a nice lunch midway through the self guided walking tour (no guide provided by the package). Four hours is plenty of time to walk around and see the highlights. The price for the transportation is a great value. Recommended tour if you have a full day available and want to see the coast.Written 28 October 2024
- L7378UOdanielk0 contributionsSahara Sand Dunes w/ TONS of French TouristsThe Sahara sand dunes are something incredible to see. The journey to get there from Marrakesh is long and grueling so be prepared & manage your expectations. The driver was excellent. There were many stops for bathroom breaks, snacks, etc. The restaurants for lunch are bland buffets of tagine/couscous and are 120-140 MAD per person which are not included. There is also a tour of Ait Ben Haddou is 30 MAD. There are ATMs at most stops. Overall, this was a fun excursion. The lunch buffets were not good and overpriced. The Ait Ben Haddou tour was scammy. There were too many people booked for the tour which made it difficult to enjoy some aspects of the excursion.Written 28 October 2024

Great stops along the way, the Oasis of Todra gorge and Ait Ben Haddou was a highlight too. A lot of driving but worth it to go all the way to the dunes ! - SeeingTHEworld20120 contributionsRemarkable 3 daysExceptional. Great value This 3 day trip covers the Atlas Mountains, Ben Al Addout and the Sahara. Seeing Ben Al is just phenomenal and was a highlight. It's totally unexpected. The Sahara portion is magical. The camel ride is an hour and you view the sunset. So not your typical 10 minute ride. Plus you do it again the next morning. The tented campsite is beautiful. Each tent has carpets and lanterns. It's just an extraordinary adventure.Written 28 September 2024

The actual tour of the waterfalls was beautiful. However, the journey to get to ouzoud falls took 3 hours there, and another 3 hours to return. This was not mentioned in the description of the guide. Furthermore, the description mentions that the tour last up until 5pm. We only got back into Marrakech city at 7pm, and ended up missing our dinner reservation.
The worst part of all, at the end of the waterfall tour, the guide (who is different to the driver) asked everyone to pay him 30 dirhams each. He said this was mandatory as he doesn’t get paid from the tour company. So please be careful

The visit was not at all the same as advertised. It was a 4 hours hike which wasn't described in the descriptif, it says swiming there but you have no time to do so and the water is muddy the guide himself said no one was swiming in the water and that it was muddy. On top of it, the place is unsanitary, really beautiful but unsanitary, i got a rash in my back by sitting on the couch putt at disposition there. The vendors where the guide took us were trying to scam all of our tourism group and make us pay for things we didn't orders or giving us different prices than initially. All of them were speaking English and If I wasn't speaking french and english I wouldn't have been able to realize it.
Because of the lack of description, some of the people in my group came with flipflop shoes which made their hyke really dangerous and slippery.
The place was beautiful but truly different fro what is advertised. You have 6 hours drive in total and 4 hours of hikes. Each with breaks of course. But it isn't what expected. 3 hours first 2 hours in of hike and 2 hours to get back plus 3 hours to get back to our accommodation.
Still the guide was nice and I would recommend him. But I wouldn't recommend it. Everyone was dissapointed by how the place presented and what it truly was.

We started the coach trip on time, the coach is a bit unnerving for motion sickness and hights but in comparison to other driving in marrakech was fine,we got off the coach to be greeted by our tour guide who was welcoming and smiling from the offset,we where mortified that a English"lady" got off the coach and said to him "AM NOT FOLLOWING YOU" & carried on by being very disrespectful towards him,he handled it with such dignity.her husband looked thoroughly embarrassed date :5/12/19,anyway back to the positive,so we where guided with prices on things,we had an amazing lunch for about £7 we were stuffed!! The waterfall itself is incredible and we went on a small raft/boat,under the waterfall and the tour guide got amazing pics,we weren't pushed to buy anything which was refreshing.local knowledge on plants and wildlife was great ,well worth doing be prepared for a bit if walking, but so worth the money

We had a lovely day out on this tour. The guide was excellent - knowledgable and funny. The Berber village was really interesting and the meal at lunch time was great value at £8 per person. Fantastic view of the Atlas Mountains.
Only negative was the extremely childish young men in our group who acted like infants on the minibus, but that wasn’t the fault of the tour guide.

Fantastic trip to the Ouzoud waterfalls and one I would definitely recommend on any visit to Marrakech. The waterfalls are stunning and would highly recommend the small boat journey to see them up close in all their glory. Our guide for this trip was excellent, was not only very informative but also had a good sense of humour, whilst also giving you time to relax and take in the beauty of your surroundings. Nice meal at the end to top of the trip as well. “First we feed the little monkeys, then the big”.

Excellent day trip to Ouzoud. Really the highlight of the Marrakech trip this far. It's a long drive but wow, it's breathe taking. We had a really friendly driver called Said and an expert tour guide called Nouredinne. Boat ride, 2nd largest waterfall in Africa, monkeys on your back.
This really was the highlight of the trip to Morocco. Can't fault it really the only thing was as a group we were guided to a more expensive restaurant which was a bit unfair. Two small meals for 220.00/€22.00

This price was very reasonable for the cost of transportation and the speed.. They picked us up from our hotel and drop us off at the end of the day. Debt. There were no tricks the boat ride was not included as they mentioned but the boat ride was worth it and by the way it cost 20 dirham need dear him which may be a little pricey Worth it for the view that the boat has. To be honest I don't think the guide did any guide activity such as covering any history or really talking about what was going on for example I did not figure out how tall the waterfall waterfall was or any historical facts about the area in which I then google'd on the way home. There were languages however and took photos of people. However the part that was disappointing was the fact that he guided us yes to an overprice restaurant. A very small tagine was a 100 dirham when it was probably worth at most 40 maybe 30 given the wonderful view you but the food was very small. I recommend either eating separately or just choosing to share something Not to eat and be full but to enjoy the view with your group. That depends on if you're on a budget and don't want to be scammed for an expensive testing that was subpar. I would recommend this tour the pro above all was the fast air conditioned transportation that and would end up costing you about the same and be longer if you chose to you chose to go by taxi.

Abdessamad is a star, such a friendly and accommodating driver! It's hard to believe how good value for money this trip is, a full day experience driving through the Morrocan landscape to the stunning waterfalls. Everything from the pick up, to the drive, to the guide (who was full of interesting facts and history), to the boat tour, to the food at the restaurant (get the lamb tagine!), to the waterfalls themselves was incredible. Currently sat on the bus back, it's 5.30pm and I'm still trying to figure out how I had such an experience for about £20! Thank you again to Abedsamad and the rest of the team for an unforgettable day.

Not what I expected. What was sold is not what you get.
The minibus is not air conditioned, was very warm and stuffy. It was a warm day and the journey is 4hours from Marrakech so would have been good if it was air conditioned as advertised. The stop over for toilet break includes a fee to use the toilet.
Upon arrival to the waterfalls you are greeted by the tour guide who explains that at the end of the tour his fees shall be 3 euros per person. Again this is an extra charge, where as on initial purchase it is a guided tour with a boat ride. Many of the group members were surprised with this and two members walked off. The tour guide walked us down to the waterfalls and then pointed to the way up. It was not a guided tour at all, with no information about the falls or the history. However, it is an expectation that each member pays the guide 3 euros. This was paid by almost all the members in the group.
The boat ride was 20DH, although you pay on initial purchase. When discussing this with the tour guide he mentioned that due to the online purchase, he was not provided the cost of the boat by the driver so each member who wanted the boat ride needed to pay 20DH. This again was very disappointing, despite showing the ticket that clearly stipulated what was purchased and included in the tour.
The highlight was the monkeys who were friendly and welcoming. The waterfall itself is extremely beautiful and the climb down and up is worth it. Plenty of opportunities to take photos from many different angles to view the beautiful waterfall.
It would be advisable to book this tour through your hotel as it’s a lovely experience and you would not be disappointed with the bombardment of paying extra.

This day trip was so good for the price ! The trip there was a little lenghty ( 3 hour drive ) but cant complain for the price at all.
The guide had amazing knowledge about the area and answered any questions we had, the tour ended with monkeys , boat rides and the waterfall.
We swam in the lake and drank fresh orange juice that was made right in fron of us ! The prices were cheap as many stores were by locals which had very low prices.
