Wonderful guided tour which will enrich your stay
Aziz was a wonderful guide who shared his vast knowledge of Marrakech with me. He took me to places and to meet people I would never have known about. I cannot recommend him highly enough if you want to broaden your knowledge of this complex city.

Mohamed was a fountain of knowledge and led us around the medina to places we would never have found. Lovely to spend the morning with him.

      Wonderful tour!
We spent an amazing few hours with Azim, he is such a knowledgeable and interesting man. He made history come alive, I don't think there's anything he doesn't know about the history of Marrakech, and also about world history. We really enjoyed our discussions about politics, religion, royalty and just about everything you can think of. If you want to go shopping, don't do this tour, but if you want to learn about the history and culture of a fascinating country and its people, then book this tour with guide Azim. We also visited places we would never have found on our own, and learned about them. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful experience.

It was so nice, we did the tour again on our own 😄
Azim is very calm and relaxing to listen to and will passionatly tell you all kinds of stories about Marrakech (with the required tea stops to rest 😊). You walk at a nice calm pace so you can take in everything around you. It was a very interesting and nice experience and we would really recommend to do this guided trip at the start of your vacation in Marrakech. Thanks again Azim!!

not recommend, sorry to say that
Let me be honest: this is a tour I would not recommend to my friends. The tour is named "hidden sites of Marrakesh", but the only hidden site we visited was a traditional food cooking place underground. The bakery shown on the cover page of the TA was not running at that time - we only got a piece of cold bread there in exchange of 2 Euros as tips at the request of the guide. The whole tour is to walk through markets (with workshops). Tourists go there without a tour guide too. Azim did introduce some history and culture of Morocco and its people, so I gave 2 stars. But I think it should be named less misleading, something like a "tour of medina and souks". The whole tour took 2.5-3 hours. If you need someone to guide you in the markets, you can book this one.

      Amazing guided tour by Mohamed!!
Mohamed provided an extremely informative and intimate guided tour of the Medina! He was an incredible guide and clearly has a passion for his work as a professional tour guide. He created a safe relaxed environment where he encouraged us to soak in the history and culture of Marrakech. Would highly recommend this tour as a starting point for your trip to learn about the history and customs of Morocco.

Mohammed delivered a delightful, insightful and fascinating tour of the unusual, hidden and everyday functions of the medina and souk. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the details and charming facts about life in Marrakesh. Well worth it and highly recommended.

      Monsieur Mohamed, a storyteller
Beautiful tour and charming tour guide! This 3 hour tour is perfect if you are looking for a true experience around the medina. As you stroll down the souks, Mr. Mohamed will explain some important historical facts about Morocco and its people, and will also tell you stories about the Moroccan culture. He is very polite and pleasant, one can see that he is passionate about his work, but also his country, culture and language. We truly recommend!

      A wonderful walking tour
This was one of the best walking tours we have been on. Azim was so informative and interesting. His stories were so good, and took us to places in Marrakech Souk we would never have found. He supplied us with water and even bought us tea. Even told us stories about his family, how he met his wife, and all about his teenage daughter. I would definitely suggest getting a tour with Azim, you will miss so much if you only walk around by yourself.

      Like a Tour with Family
It is safe to say that I have been on a great many tours over the last few years and I have to say that the tour with Mohamed was more like a walk around Marrakech with an insightful family member rather than being simply shown buildings by a stranger. Mohamed made us feel immediately at home and welcome in a city that can be easily be seen as hostile and uninviting to strangers. We were shown sights and introduced to shopkeepers that were friendly and welcoming rather than pushing their goods and reaching into your pockets. The time flew by and it was a great way to spend the morning. I highly recommend taking this hidden gem of a tour with an experienced guide and an overall genuine person.

As expected, no different to any other abroad market area really. Lovely trinkets and bits and bobs. Delicious fruit stalls and market shops. Pretty hot but not as busy as I anticipated it might be. The usual haggling and bartering to be done of course. I was a bit apprehensive about going after reading reviews it was just a McDonald's and Starbucks. Over westernised etc. But I didn't see one British shop in the market area, just stalls and sellers. Authentic, some are a little pushy and want to guide you around (for a price) we found being direct and just saying no thank you over ignoring them (no need to be rude after all) worked well and they didn't hassle us much. Worth a trip if you're in the area and want a souvenir.

I am surprised by your feedback. I have never given a tour to somebody called Danis. You must have confused with someone else. It was definitely not me .Your review was wrongly posted .What are talking about "McDonalds and Starbucks .They don't exist in the souks of Marrakech. There is no British shop in the market of Marrakech. The tour is called the hidden sites of Marrakech and it is well described on viator platform. It is crazy to believe that this tour will include places -if they exist-like Mcdonald and Starbucks .I wonder why would you need a tour guide to visit these places !!!. Sorry if I say you may be kidding,or drunk a lot of wine .It is impossible what you say even in imagination. If i was you I would rate the tour you have talked about NULL No Stars .Anyway thank for your 4 stars 🤣🤣🤣😇😇🤔🤔🤔.I.read carefully your review. It was not a guided tour. As I understood from your writing you did it by yourself Therefore;you reviewed yourself and you must not have posted it on my page.

One of the better Souks that sell tons of rugs, fruit & produce, souvenirs , clothes, and lots of locally made handicraft.
Be careful of the pick pockets and always bargain.

Mr Azim was very friendly and talkative. He showed us the market from both sides, the tourist and the local, so the difference between cheap ‘made in China’ stuff and truly handmade artisan items. He answered all of our questions and took us to some workshops as well as a bakery, apothecary and another oven place where we got to try tea whilst listening to a man plan a 3-string instrument. Very interesting tour overall and much recommended.

We had a great time in Marrakech last December, thanks to our guide Mr.Azim. He not only showed us the hidden attractions of the city, but also took us to very reliable and fairly priced shops in the Souk. The most applaudable quality of his service was that even after our return, he helped us track and receive a carpet we had shipped from Marrakech but which had mistakenly been sent to a wrong country. We thankfully received the carpet after 2 months, all due to his perseverance and untiring efforts.
Thank you Mr.Azim, I'll definitely give your contact to my friends visiting Marrakech.
