- JohnF45380 contributionsDay tour to Ouarzazate and Ait BenhaddouWe were very lucky to have Abdul as our guide, informative, relaxed, friendly and a great sense of humour. The journey took us up through and over the Atlas Mountains, amazing scenery and in a very comfortable Land Cruiser. He picked a quiet restaurant with a panoramic view of Ait Benhaddou before handing us over to the Berber guide for a tour of the village which was definitely a highlight. Can’t recommend these guys enough. We had an added bonus of a different route back to visit a salt mine with the route having even more spectacular scenery.Written 26 September 2024
- KellyD40510 contributionsGreat tripGreat trip. Well organized and stayed in unique and special lodging. Abdelrani was a great guide and went out of his way to make sure our trip was easy and informative.Written 6 January 2024
- 426justiner0 contributionsDay trip to Atlas MountainsThis was an excellent tour. Abdelrani is a wonderful knowledgeable guide and knows the Berber family in the Atlas Mountains where you will have lunch which is an incredible spot with wonderful views. The walk to the waterfall was a lot of fun and we had a local guide for that part. Absolutely worth it, our best day in Morocco.Written 4 January 2024
- Flyer114667056240 contributionsEssaouria experienceSea-side Essaouira gives a very different feel from the traditional red-brown Morocco experiences we have at other places like Marrakech and Fes. Showing us the diversity of Morocco. With it's coastal waters, seagulls, city walls (featured as Astapor in Game of Thrones S3), hippie reputation, the place has a leisure charm as we roam the small town. Driver Abdelghani was safe and alert, shared abt Morocco when we asked him many questions and brought us to an argan oil products cooperative. We appreciate his friendly and professional service. شكرًا لك.Written 10 December 2023
- Flyer114667056240 contributionsMemorable Experience of Morocco desertThis is a memorable itinerary for us in Morocco. We were surrounded by the large, wide and brown landscape of Agafay as we oversee a dam, housing, did the camel rides on the terrain and have dinner. We had a close up experience seeing the remarkable strength of the 'boats of the desert' as we ride the camels. We then have Moroccan cuisine seeing the sun sets and surrounded by darkness and quiet in the desert. We appreciated our driver Abdelghani for his careful driving (especially in the night) and sharing much abt Morocco/Marrakech with us. Thank you much! شكرًا لكWritten 10 December 2023

We enjoyed driving through the villages with Abdelghani, he is cultured, knows how to tell us about the history of his country. - LSFKN0 contributionsGreat trip with an even greater guide! We spent the day with Hicham. He picked us up in Marrakech, showed us around the Atlas Mountains (Berber museum, lunch and waterfalls included) and organized a last minute trip to the desert including dinner for us. Overall, the trip was more than perfect. Hicham is a unbelievably funny and kind guy who enjoys showing his culture and country to visitors. We didn't have a boring minute on this trip and enjoyed every minute. Thank you, Hicham for the great day! We hope to see you again soon!Written 6 December 2022

We booked a driver for two days for a private return trip from Marrakech to Ouarzazarte and surroundings.
Simo, our driver, was exceptional. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and, perhaps most importantly, very patient and understanding.
His expertise and professionalism certainly helped to make our trip to the places we wanted to see, Ouarzazate, Ait Benhaddou and Skoura amongst others, a most memorable trip
We would certainly look to use Simo again the next time we are in Morocco!

This was a magical experience! The oasis was one huge highlight for us (the tagine we ate there was the best we have eaten in Morocco). We loved the drive through the snow-capped mountains, and then staying in a real kasbah, eating by candlelight and touring the ancient structures, was unforgettable. We also liked seeing the settings for Game of Thrones! Abdelghani is a very generous guide, always looking out for our comfort and convenience. A wonderful trip we will never forget!

The pictures don't do this trip justice. The oasis in the desert was like something out of a film -- truly beautiful. The landscape as we drove into and out of the mountains was breathtaking and worth the trip alone. Throughout, the guides were knowledgeable and very happy to answer any and all questions we had about Berber life, culture, and history. Excellent meals at every stop. Bathrooms always easily accessible. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Ait Benhaddou was the absolute highlight of the trip. Not to be missed, and it was great to have a guided tour that touched on the religious and historical details, as well as on all the films (Gladiator, Aladdin, Game of Thrones) shot on the site. Highly recommended -- would do it again because there's so much to see and experience.

Hi
Can you tell me the details of the overnight accommodation? We prefer a private room/tent with toilet and hot shower inside.
Many thanks
