Very nice experience

Joined the group right near our hotel, jumped in a bus and went to a journey. The guide was really interested in us getting knowledge about the country and about the place, told us about some interesting facts and history behind the places we visited and passed by. The guide's name is Hasan Akdax, nice guy. Overall, so many events and emotions, like we spent a week there, altho, it was a quick run and barely felt tired after it. Thanks again, guys, once in Marrakech we definitely will get in touch again.

Great trip - definitely recommend!
Hamza was an amazing and hilarious guide. We were a group of 13 and he quickly built a rapport with us and his jokes were a highlight of the trip! The camel ride was so much fun, and getting dressed up was a nice touch. Hamza was very accommodating when we asked to have a longer walk - definitely recommend!!!

Great day out!
Mar 2020 • Friends
This trip was excellent value and not only did everything it said on the itinerary but our guide Hamza was wonderful and told us plenty of local information and looked after us very well. The lunch was very good with amazing views from the roof terrace and it was nice to relax for tea at Hamza's family home before the walk to a waterfall with lovely scenery enroute. I didn't do the camel ride but again we were provided with tea while waiting. The stop at the women's co-operative to see how argon oil was made was interesting and you didn't feel pressurised to buy. Thanks also to our driver for negotiating the mountain roads!

I got what I had been expecting.

An average experience. We spent about half the total trip time in a bus. Among the attractions were camel ride (I did not attend, so I cannot rate it) and a cup of berber tea, two photo stops (rocky desert and a view to a large inscription in Arabic on a hillside), a dinner (good), a half-an-hour-long walk to a waterfall (rather small, perhaps Moroccans living in a desert can consider it as an attraction, but I do not share this opinion), a display of oil production, and finally another berber tea. Nice mountain panoramas, nice air, friendly guide (Ibrahim) and driver (Mohammad), but little more.

You should do it
Feb 2020
The trip offers some really beautiful views. There are a few stops for pics. I'd like to hear more details from our guide (Omar) because when we stopped for photos he gave us no details. I had to ask him, which valley are we looking at otherwise he just said - you can take photos. But when you ask him he's giving more details. Some of the valleys you will just pass by and won't stop. You can ask them to stop if you want. The waterfall at the end of the trip is not something spectacular, but it's still nice. The camel ride was a nice bonus. Recommended overall
The lunch was fine but in late afternoon (after 3 pm).

Interesting day trip to the atlas mountains, berber villages and the stone desert
Feb 2020
We enjoyed the trip very much. It didn't started as scheduled, but it was though great. The driver and the guide Hassan were very kind and helpful. We had first yummy breakfast with local tea, bread and peanut butter, made a stop to take some pictures from the valley. We visited Hassan's home and had tea at the terrace and admired a magnificent view of the surrounding hills. After a 20 - 30 minutes walk we had our lunch which was also very tasty. Then we drived to the agafy desert for the camel ride. For me the ride (esp. sitting on the camel) was a little bit strenuous but we all enjoyed it.
There were some points that didn't really meet our expectations: we didn't see any waterfalls and didn't make real trekking because we spend most of the time in the bus or by tea and eating :). But to sum up: it was a really great day and 100% recommendation!

Local Living In The Mountains
Feb 2020 • Couples
This trip was not only great value for money, it was a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of busy Marrakech.

The trip delivered a full day from 8:30 until 5pm. Our driver Ahmed was punctual and a happy thoughtful character. He even got me a cup of local tea when I sat out of the camel ride!

The trip was fun with camel riding, hiking and even dressing up in local attire. We were shown what we believe to be an authentic way of village life in morocco but it also introduced us to some exciting local dishes as we dined in the house of a Moroccan family.

A few points to be aware of though

1. Have cash, we were presented once or twice with "blanket trip" style situations where we shown how products were made and then had the option to buy these products. We also wanted to tip as the service was great and the trip was so cheap to begin with

2. Wear proper foot wear, the walk to the waterfall would be hard in flip flops

3. We didn't mind this bit too much but it's worth noting that our driver spoke very little English (though he tried his best) and we was mixed in with only French customers. So we did feel like we missed out on the educational side as we couldn't ask questions

These aren't criticisms, hence the 5* review. Just points I thought were worth mentioning.
