          A memorable experience
We climbed Mount Toubkal with a local guide - Hassan. He helped us a lot and supported us along the way. You may consider him a senior, but he is still young at heart! Afterwards, we had the pleasure to meet Younes, a local driver who took care of us for three days, driving us from Imlil to Merzouga and back to Marakech. He was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. I wholeheartedly recommend him for anyone planning a Moroccan adventure. Younes if you are reading this, a big Tenmirt! Hope we will see you again in the near future!

Great day of hiking as day trip from Marrakech
A great day out that started being picked up from our Riad in Marrakech by the lovely driver Kareem, who drove us up to the starting point for the hike (about an hour or so drive). There we met our guide Ibrahim, who took us out for the day. He saw that we were relatively fit as a couple so suggested we did a different walk than the normal one so that we could see the best views, and the harder walk was definitely worth it! We ate our packed lunches at the peak, and enjoyed the stunning views. On our way back down from the top, we stopped for some mint tea at Ibrahim's house in the village we passed through, and then saw the waterfalls on our way back to the meeting point to drive back to Marrakech. All in all, we were hiking for around 4-5 hours, so a great option for a day out from Marrakech. The terrain was quite rugged in places, so would definitely recommend sturdy shoess/boots. Thank you again to everyone at Toubkal Guide!

Fantastic days trek in the mountains
Just back from a days excursion and trek in the high atlas, 5 hour trek was wonderful and Youness and Hassan from Toubkal guides could not have been more helpful, a wonderful experience that I would recommend and I look forward to my next trip next time I’m in Morocco

          Excellent Guide, Amazing Sunrise
I did this trip together with a friend and can wholeheartedly recommend it. The views and landscape are amazing and the people are very friendly and welcoming. The organization is absolutely trustworthy and our guide Mohamed was also excellent. If you are very fit, you can also do the ascent to Toubkal and descent to Imlil in 2 days. This saves you one more day to discover Morocco! Overall it was a great adventure and I will never forget my first sunrise at over 4000m.

          Unforgettable Mount Toubkal Adventure
The Mount Toubkal trek was an unforgettable experience that we highly recommend to active individuals who love a challenge. Mohamed Sarkuzi guided us, as inexperienced female hikers, and made us fall in love with the mountains. Mohamed is easy-going, funny, and shares a wealth of knowledge about Berber culture and the surrounding landscapes. He was truly the best guide we could have hoped for. Moreover, the organization is extremely trustworthy, and everything was perfectly arranged.

Ait Ben Haddou Kasbahs & Atlas Mountains - Day trip from Marrakech - private
We had a great 1-day private trip to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbahs & Atlas Mountains. Our driver from the start to end was very cordial, friendly, knowledgeable about Moroccan culture, and went out of the way to have a pleasant experience. The guide at the Ait Ben Haddou explained us everything and was very patient with us. We had a great time here. I would definitely recommend Toubkal guide for this trip if you are looking for great experience and value for time and đź’°.

A genuine adventure accompanied by a wonderful opportunity to explore and understand the culture and traditions of Moroc
What an adventure! We were taken from Marrakech by private taxi to a picturesque mountain village called Imlil. There we stayed in a typicaly styled but high quality hotel. We had time to explore Imlil and I would recommend taking time to look around and walk into the village itself off the main road. The next day the guide met us at the hotel and our packs were taken onto the mule. The muleteer doubled as our private chef for the tour and we were given a wide variety of classic morroccan cuisine, freshly prepared and suited to your dietary requirements. The guide adjusted pace to the needs of the group and being born in the mountains was able to answer a wide range of local and cultural questions. His language skills in English were good and he certainly was able to speak many other European languages. The 1st day walking was approx 5hours plus food and rest stops. Sleeping on the mountain is tricky so bring ear plugs. You have an option of either tents or to stay in the mountain lodge. It can get chilly depending on the time of year. We chose the lodge but it was actually too hot in July. The next morning we started the ascent very early to summit before sunrise. We arrived 30 minutes before sunrise and it was truly spectacular to see the sun rise above Marrakech to one side and the desert to the other. The views are 360 degree from the top and the mountain sides spectacular and steep. The route itself is steep but manageable without climbing skills. Altitude sickness can be a factor for some, this is not related to fitness and is unpredictable. You can reduce the chance of this by spending more time at altitude prior to climbing. There are other walks from the mountain lodge and this can give you time to acclimatise at altitude prior to ascending if you have more time and want to do more trekking. Our group of 4 all managed to climb without problem but be aware it can be chilly particularly if windy at the top. Once the sun came out it rapidly warmed however so it depends what time you climb. We descended via a different route from the ascent because of our knowledgeable guide Ibrahim. This meant we spent the whole descent with only our tour group visible. This is a relatively quiet mountain in terms of other groups and does not feel as if there is an excessive tourism load compared with many other locations. When we returned the guide had already contacted our driver to collect us and we were soon on our way back to Marrakech. Throughout the process of booking and managing the trip Toubkal Guide were very professional and responsive. I have already recommended Toubkal Guide to my friends in Essaouira and would do the same to anyone reading this review.

Amazing experience on Toubkal and Sahara
I am amazed of the journey - the nature sorrounded us - and the perfection of organization was higher I expected. Everything sharp on time, extremly nice, helpful and carefull people from Toubkal Guide staff: guide Hassan, cook, car driver. The level of accomodation sometimes luxury like at riad Gabsi or on Erg Chebbi desert camp. I recomend this trip for everyone, esspacially who loves nature, mountain hikking and the Berber culture

Wonderful experience with the BEST guide/driver
This was one of the most beautiful experiences. Our driver/guide, Jamal, was one of the kindest people I’ve ever toured with. He made our experience so comfortable, was so informative on the drive, stopped at so many places to just to show us the cool and interesting spots, and was so incredibly accommodating. The desert was mesmerizing, the drive was so beautiful, and Jamal made our experience complete. Can’t say enough good things about this tour and Jamal.

          Top Notch Experience!
I recently visited Morocco for the first time. I spent virtually all of my time in Marrakech. I decided I had some time for a day-trip into the Atlas Mountains. My hotel booked me with Toubkal Guide for a memorable day afield — Jonas was my driver to and from Imlil and Rahim was my trekking guide afoot. Wow! What a great experience! Both Jonas and Rahim were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the culture and geography of this Berber region. I felt totally safe and valued as a client at all times. I would like to go back and climb Mount Toubkal with Rahim! Highly recommended!

A fantastic introduction to Morocco's mountains and deserts.
Morocco is an amazing place, and Jamal provided an extraordinary experience for us in the High Atlas and the southern ranges and deserts. He possesses a wealth of knowledge about roads to take, places to visit, oases for breaks, and more. He was very accommodating of special requests that I made related to my interests in seeing the landscapes, geological features, and more. From the historical kasbahs of Ait Ben Haddou to the thrilling vistas from Tizi n'Test, this was a trip that we enjoyed immensely.

We were a group of four and Chediri was our guide to the mt. Toubkal summit. He knows these mountains like his backyard and was a truly wonderful guide! On the early morning ascent he pushed us and we made it in just three hours - in time to enjoy the sunrise.
Good food and support from his colleague as well:)

Great team, really professional, top class organisation. Everything went like clockwork.
Our guide Hassan was outstanding, he really knew the mountains and could perfectly judge our ability.
The mountains themselves are stunning snowcapped giants. The views from the summits are breathtaking.
I recommend this to anyone who loves mountains

Exhausting but great experience. Trekked from Imlil to the refuge on Day 1 and then, starting at 4 a.m.., to the summit and back to Imlil on Day 2. Everything was well-organized. We had an excellent guide, Hassan, who was vigilant in making sure our group of three was safe and proved resourceful in fixing a broken crampon on the descent. Yusuf prepared massive meals and Donkey carried the supplies. Thumbs way up and a huge thank you to Hassan for taking his job seriously and being good company.

5 Irish take on Toubkal and succeed!
WE met our team at the airport to be transported to the starting point in a great sized van with Air con! Our guide was Hamid , an excellent guide who safely led us up to the summit and provided the greatest hospitality while answering any questions we had. The food on the trip was also excellent and great portion sizes so you never ran out of energy, it certainly exceeded all our expectations.
The trip to the top was nicely paced with breaks as our team needed them, it was complete with safety in mind and Hamid kept an eye on us the whole way up and down. Once back in the village Hamid was good enough to take us to a Rug stall so some of our group could get some nice authentic gifts for home.

If you are planning on going up Toubkal i would highly recommend this company and of course Hamid as your guide you will have an unreal experience!

If you’re looking for a professional guide for a Toubkal summit attempt or any other Atlas hiking tour, Toubkal Guide is the place to go!

My partner and I had an amazing time completing the 2-day Toubkal summit trek with Mohammed S as our guide in early November.
Mohammed is a very experienced and knowledgeable guide and an all round great guy. Mohammed and the rest of the guides are locals to the area and know the mountains very well. We felt very safe as he clearly explained the routes we took while providing fun facts and info all along the way.

The two day summit is a physically intense trek and carries the same risks as any mountain trekking activities, so be prepared for this. Our guide Mohammed provided all the extra encouragement we needed though to reach the summit and he did so with a smile on his face! Clearly he loves the mountains and showing people around his local area, we had such a fun time and he is a pleasure to be around.

All the food, planning and logistics was taken care of for us by the Toubkal Guide team. Meals were delicious and there was always more than enough food, with ample snacks and tea in between!

Arranging the trip was very easy, the team are responsive to emails and always happy to help with any queries. Overall we think the price was very good value and worth every penny!

Thank you Mohammed and Toubkail Guide!

The entire experience from booking to trekking was brilliant. The company are so good to deal with really fast at responding to emails and helpful with all questions you ask.
The trek itself is so well organised. Brilliant travel from Marrakech to imlil and back with a private car which is clean and the drivers are careful and friendly. The company organises the guide, the cooks and the mule for your luggage and all trekking documentation needed.
Our cook, Mustafa was so lovely and the food was incredible. His tagine at refuge was the best I have had! He was friendly and always smiling.
Finally, our guide, Ibrahim was outstanding. So helpful, friendly, funny and kind. He takes the trek at a steady pace and will go as fast or slow as you need depending on your ability. He was so helpful on our way down from Toubkal because it was steep and my footing was not the best- he was patient and assisted me the whole way.
I can’t say enough about him! A truly great guide.
Brilliant reputable company I’d book with them again in a heartbeat!

I had the pleasure to meet Mohammed Sarkozy who guided us to reach the highest summit of the Atlas Mountains, Toubkal. He explained to us all the parts of the hike throughout and was happy to answer any of our questions.
Sarkozy provided me with appropriate equipment as I was not well prepared for it.
Sarkozy is a local guide of Atlas Mountains and climbing these mountains feels like second nature to him.
I highly recommend Sarkozy as a guide since he did push my physical and mental limits in a patient and friendly way, which I needed to achieve my goal.

Mohamed was our guide and he did a great job taking us up to the refuge and explaining things along the way. He was kind and patient. Our cook was also very friendly and made some very nice meals. The climb out is a bit steep for the first 20 minutes or so. Then from there you will walk across a relatively flat landscape heading to the entrance of the park. From there it's a gradual trek up to the refuge with a stop at the shrine along the way. At the refuge we stayed in a tent and it was not too cold for the month of May. Unfortunately, I got sick during the night (not from the altitude) and while I attempted to summit at 3:30AM, I was not feeling well enough to complete the trek. The Atlas mountains are quite nice and I recommend this trek and company to anyone who is interested in these types of adventures.

Led by Yusef and Ibrahim in a group of 8, this was a trip highlight. Kind, supportive, easy going and attentive guides. They made what is a decent challenge across impressive terrain into a massively enjoyable and memorable experience. Cannot rate them highly enough. 100% recommend.

Amazing 2 day trip to the top of Mount Toubkal! We went up in February so you have to use ice axes and crampons, but I feel this actually potentially made it easier than in warmer months because there aren’t any sliding rocks near summit.

It is a tough climb on the second day, as you start at 4am and the altitude sickness came and went in waves, but our guide Abdul did a great job of encouraging us to the top and walked at a steady pace with us to make sure we made it.

If you are on the fence about this as I was, book it with Toubkal Guide! It’s a challenging trek but the views from summit are breathtaking and the sense of achievement is incredible!
