Mohammed and his team are very friendly guides with an excellent network in Marrakech. They were consistently on time for picking up our small group, which is not to be taken for granted in Morocco. The cars used during our travel were comfortable, clean, and the air conditioning worked well. Mohammed salem in particular was a great guide for Medresa Ben Youssef (Koranic school) and gave us information about building. If you’re interested in visiting the souks, I recommend asking Mohammed and his team for specific recommendations for vendors and try to find out what the right costs are for items. We didn’t make these requests to Mohammed explicitly, and ended up being scammed a few times in the souks (fake pashminas and fake leather). He took us to a vendor selling real Argan oil (much in the souks is fake) at our request. If you’re looking for deep historical information, make that request up front. The team was able to answer many of our questions but it was not a history tour. There is a culture of reciprocal benefits to travel guides from restaurants, vendors, etc that they bring tourists to. For this reason, if you have specific requests for dining or other things, make them known up front. It was such a relief to whizz by the lengthy ticket queues at several of Marrakech’s famous sites, a great benefit of having a local guide. Mohammed also took us to Bahia palace at the right time of day to avoid massive crowds. After the group trip, I had some time solo in Marrakech and Mohammed connected me with another driver of his for the day which was worth every penny for ease of getting around town.

Our tour guide (Mohammed) and driver (Omar) were great. They were very knowledgeable, friendly and personable, accommodated all our needs and made sure that we had an awesome experience. They are among the best guides I have ever had and I would definitely recommend them for anyone who needs a tour guide and coordinator.

Great tour of Morocco from the Blue City, Casablanca and Marrakech it was a blast!!! Tour team was extremely knowledgeable, punctual and more. My husband and I had an amazing and very comfortable trip with Mohamed Salem Aribi and his driver, Mohamed. We saw all the highlights as mentioned in the trip overview, plus a few more fun stops. Such as, a stop at a fossil store and learned how irrigation is brought from the mountains to the desert. Our guides were natives of the desert region where we toured and finally after a trip over the Atlas Mountains from Marrakesh we reached the Queens Camp in the desert. Very comfortable yurts with full bathrooms, good food, and entertainment after dinner. Oh, did I mention, a camel ride too! February was a great month to be in Morocco. I definitely recommend this tour for all ages.

We organised a personalised private tour through Salem who was absolutely fantastic. He organised a driver and car for us according to our own itinerary. Our trip was fantastic. We especially loved Erg Chebbi. Mustafa (our driver) was absolutely amazing. We loved having him as our driver. My wife and I did a 7 day tour from Fez down into Erg Chigaga and back up to Marrakech, While in Erg Chigaga we trekked for 4 days with the assistance of Mohammad and our camel guides Hassan and Wali. We also had a wonderful driver, Omar, who got us there and back safely. While in the desert our meals were fantastic, the company of our guides was unbeatable and even the camels were well behaved. I recommend this tour operator very highly. Arranging our tour from home prior to the trip was easy and Mohammad was able to make great suggestions and modifications to our itinerary to meet our needs. The whole tour was wonderful and we will not hesitate to use them again in the future!

We booked our trip pre Covid but only managed to go last week, We booked the 3 days trip from Marrakech to Sahara back in October 2019, and managed to travel in October 2022, it was worth the wait! We loved every minute, it's a long drive with plenty of stops to take in the breathtaking sceneries / visit kasbashs, the old irrigation system underground in Khoutart and fossils factory in Erfoud City were some of the highlights of the trip and must see specially if you have children. What an experience, we travelled with our 14 and 12 years old sons, they both said the 3 days trip was the highlight of their holiday in Morocco! Omar our guide was excellent with a great knowledge of all the areas we visited, we learned a lot about the traditions, way of life. Omar has a great sense of humour, he made us feel welcome from the start. Our stay in the Sahara was an unforgettable experience, the camel ride across the dunes, the sunset and sunrise, our night in the Sahara sky Luxury camp was outstanding, the food, location, tent, staff, it was worth paying the extra for this camp. Thank you Mohammed for your patience over the last 3 years and Omar for such an amazing trip.

I contacted this enterprise because my dad, sister and her friends did a tour with them and they highly recommended it to me. I was very happy with the tour. The staff was very nice with us and treated us very well. We saw a lot of beautiful places and everything was very nice. I highly recommend their trips.

I travelled to Morocco solo and had planned very little in advance to me going. I received a recommendation from a social media group to reach out to Morocco Stars Travel and I’m glad I did. Mohammed, the owner was communicative from our first correspondence to my arrival in Marrakesh and even checked in that I arrived back home. I was a bit nervous about traveling solo but Mohammed eased my anxiety by giving me options and then arranging everything. With him as my personal guide and a driver I was able to pace my travel from Marrakesh to Dades Valley and from there to the Sahara. We made plenty of stops along the way to various sites and small towns/villages and spent time talking about the history of the people and locations the entire time. Mohammed was patient with answering all my questions and providing translations whenever there was a language barrier. I enjoyed the scenic walk through the Dades Canyon, visiting many historic Kasbashs, eating authentic meals, and glamping in the desert. I’m not a fan of camping but the site of the desert camp was 5 stars, the accommodations, the hosts, the food, the views everything about Palmyra Luxury Camp was excellent. The trek back to Marrakesh was a full day but still spent with stops at sites, meeting people, and taking in great views. In addition to this service Mohammed provided a tour in the Medina and arranged a celebration for my birthday. I highly recommend this tour and others arranged by Mohammed and his company, they are knowledgeable about the country, it’s people, and sites and make navigating the unknown so easy. Will use them again in the future.

Thank you to our guide Mohamed Salem for looking after us on our family holiday to Morocco. Started our five days in Marrakech. Guided tour with Mohamed around the medinas. So knowledgeable about the history , heritage and culture associated with the city it was far better than we expected. We wondered whether there would be enough to interest the kids but Mohamed made it a fantastic holiday for the whole family. We visited Quazzazette Ait Ben Haddou , Boumaln Dades , Gorge Todga , Sahara Desert, camel ride, Rissani…….. Definitely recommend this company for any holiday in Morocco, our kids were nagging to back before we left the airport!!!! Amazing. Top holiday thank you so much.

It was one of the most beautiful experience I ever have in my life. I travel with my dad and 2 friends. Everything was very nice and Mohamed and his family treat us with respect, honesty and an kindness. We enjoy our time together and we will repeat the experience. We recommend anyone who want to have a close experience to the dessert to have it with Mohamed and his family since they are closer enough to make you feel as the real people of the dessert. The only inconvenience are the distances. Is a long trip but they stop in many incredible places so at the end the trip is not so heavy. We would have like to have more information about the places we visited and maybe have option for eating for low budget. But appart from that we really recommend this tour to anyone who want to experience something different and want to learn about this amazing people.

My friends and I had the absolute best experience in the desert with Morocco Stars! I have always dreamed of riding a camel in the desert and they met all my expectations of doing so! Abdul and Naji provided great service and delicious food! The campsite was beautiful and I felt very comfortable. Definitely recommend!

Myself and two of my girlfriends had the pleasure of joining Abdul and his family in the Sahara for an over night camping experience. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They cooked a delicious dinner played some music at the evening. In the morning Naji took us out to the dunes on the camels to watch the sunrise. I would like to thank Abdul and Naji for having us.
