- Emile F0 contributionsAmazing place in MoroccoAmazing stay wonderful service everything was perfect really they helped us to get wonderful staying. The room was clean and comfortable it's very close to medina and also to high atlas mountains we do many tours near marrakech We highly recommend this placeWritten 9 February 2025
- ilovetoscuba0 contributionsGorgeous hotel and wonderful staff! This hotel has beautiful architecture and facilities. It's elegant in a historic and cultural way, and is totally luxurious and is not like today's generic glam hotels. We had an interior room but the carved wooden shutters and stained glass window and door brought in wonderful natural light from the open-air hallway and you still had privacy. We didn't have time to have their breakfast but it looked amazing. Since it was February, we also didn't use the central courtyard with the beautiful pool but that makes me want to come back for a longer stay in the hotter months. Definitely do the hammam!!! And show up early so you can sit in the gorgeous spa area and enjoy the candlelight, epic lantern, fountain pool, and soft music. The only thing that could be better is the location. It's in a quiet part of town about a ten minute walk to the plaza. On the upside, right on your way to the plaza is the Manzah l'koutoubia restaurant. It's a rooftop place with great food and decor, overlooking the mosque and the mountains so go for lunch to see the mountains. It was our favorite place. But in summary, I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Marrakesh!Written 6 February 2025
- kerryd2828280 contributionsLa Maison Arabe: Where Dreams of Marrakech Come to LifeI've dreamed of visiting Marrakech for a very long time, and every dream I had of visiting came true at La Maison Arabe. The hotel is perfection, bringing the best of Moroccan design to life—every inch is stunning, luxurious, and transportive. But it’s the staff who take the experience to the next level. Of course, their service within the hotel was impeccable, but what truly set them apart was how they helped us navigate the city and make the most of every moment. We experienced everything from street food and cultural tours to balloon rides, a hammam spa visit, a trip to the desert for dinner, and camel rides. The hotel team recommended each experience, and every guide they connected us with was exceptional—true locals who love their culture and take joy in sharing it. A special call-out to Mourad Louksani, who manages the front of the house. His warmth and enthusiasm were infectious, and he seemed to take genuine pleasure in seeing how much we enjoyed our adventures. With so many incredible places to explore, we rarely visit the same destination twice—but La Maison Arabe was so extraordinary that we know we’ll be back. It’s more than a hotel; it’s a gateway to the heart of Morocco, its hospitality, and its incredible people. What a truly magical place.Written 5 February 2025

- Kim H0 contributionsCan’t wait to visit again! The hotel was beautiful, the location perfect and the staff top tier! We had lunch/dinner at the restaurant and piano bar several times, which was delicious. And I’m still dreaming about that breakfast! We even did a cooking class with them which was so fun. I’m obsessed with tajine now! I will certainly be back!Written 2 February 2025
- StatiusViatorem0 contributionsHome away from homeReturning to La Maison Arabe during our trip to Morocco was wonderful. The exceptional staff is welcoming, helpful and kind, and they answered any questions we had. They made us feel at home and well taken care of during our stay in Marrakech. They kindly arranged for an airport transfer as well as for a private driver to pick us up in Fes, which was an enormous help to us. The rooms are clean, comfortable and beautiful. The food is of excellent quality and well prepared. The spaces in La Maison Arabe are quiet and soothing. The location is well suited to the traveler wishing to explore the sites in the Medina. I highly recommend La Maison Arabe!Written 30 January 2025
- steven t0 contributionsThis is a must. 10/10From start to finish this experience was amazing. Lots of knowledge passed to us and a lovely setting to learn Moroccan cooking. Beautiful mint tea made old school way and a selection of herbs and spice to smell with a quick chat on Moroccan cooking and what we going to make. The setting of the class was amazing and interactive in so many ways. We saw how bread was made by the chef. The sous chef made the dessert and the class made a chicken tagine with 2 salad accompaniment. Loved it that much could have cooked there all day. After our class we all set down as a class (x5) and ate what we cooked. Fresh flavoursome Moroccan. This 3 hour class is a must and this venue. You will not be disappointed.Written 30 January 2025
- G9630YOandreww0 contributionsA gem of a hotelThe hotel is delightful and the staff are caring and attentive. I particularly enjoyed the complementary use of the hotel's out-of-town garden. The atmosphere at dinner around the hotel's pool was magical. I took the opportunity to enrol in the hotel's 'cook school' and had a great time preparing (and then eating) a chicken tajine.Written 29 January 2025
- FionawithAndrew0 contributionsExceptional service! What a delight of a place! Not only is the hotel really comfy and historically interesting, the staff are superb. I unfortunately took a tumble on the street close by and my reappearance in reception was greeted by lots of help and first aid by the staff as well as Madame Nabila, who strapped my ankle up. They could not have been kinder, arming me with a walking stick and moving a lounger to a patio garden so I could rest my leg with plenty of ice. The hotel has a lovely garden with pool (too cool to use in January) a complementary shuttle ride away. I imagine when it is hot and dry in the medina it would be even more refreshing that we found it. My husband also had a fabulous morning at the Cook School making a chicken tagine and salads, and is armed with tagine and instructions to make me one at home. 😋 The restaurant is pricey but the food delicious. We didn't have breakfasts at the hotel as there are plenty of cafes nearby and it was 250 dirham. (about £20+). The heated pool is surrounded by the restaurant tables, and no one ventured in whilst we were staying, but I think as the temperature warms up it would be lovely. I don't think you will be disappointed if you go to La Maison Arabe.Written 27 January 2025
- Scenic7983650 contributionsFabulous Boutique Marrakech hotel - Birthday week at La Maison ArabeWe were so lucky to stay a full week at La Maison Arabe. Our concierge, Ismal’s attention to Every detail was superb. We loved the super fun cooking class and the food we made was some of the best we had in Marrakech. Our Hamman/ massage day was so relaxing in La Maison’s beautiful spa. All the staff from front desk, restaurant, to room attendants were professional and extremely friendly. It was delightful to enjoy so many delicious dinners at the hotel after long days of walking the Medina, from the jazz bar light snack night to the romantic dinner by the pool, both with light music accompaniment. Loved our gorgeous suite and having staff make a fire for us in our fireplace on several nights. I was especially touched by Abdullah’s singing during delivery of a birthday cake! I also have to mention the gorgeous pool area slightly outside of the city at their ‘country club’. ( free shuttle included!). Lunch by the tranquil pool that afternoon was a welcome treat to the bustle of the city. Absolutely recommend this hotel for an intimate boutique stay in Marrakech with a great location for seeing the Medina but far enough away to be quiet.Written 23 January 2025
- EJYork0 contributionsA beautiful hotel with friendly and welcoming staffLa Maison Arabe is a beautiful hotel with plenty of outdoor space and lots of inviting little snooks and spaces which invite you to grab a book and enjoy some alone time. Its location is perfect for exploring the Medina, but the restaurants, courtyards and swimming pool mean you can happily spend a day here without feeling constrained. The beautiful surroundings would be nothing without the hotel's wonderful staff. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the cheery room staff, they are all well trained and friendly people who will certainly go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. A special shout out to Ismail the concierge who gave us excellent suggestions of restaurants and ensured one of our party, who was ill, was well looked after in our absence. We loved the place and we will be back.Written 22 January 2025
- LightPacker5310070 contributionsBeautiful riad with great location and amazing staffReally enjoyed the stay at La Maison Arabe. The staff was great and the room and entire riad was beautiful. Being inside the medina, it was in a great location and was an easy walk to the market and all of the sites. We enjoyed the breakfast, afternoon tea, and drinks and live music in the jazz bar. Wish there was more time to try the spa (which looked as amazing as everything else) and dinner - but will hopefully try them during the next visit!Written 20 January 2025
- H7344QVkatek0 contributionsFlower petals on your bed artfully arranged and the sweetest staffThe staff are incredibly helpful, kind , fun and professional. We spent New Year eve at the restaurant and had the time of our lives dancing and singing with the staff and musicians. The hotel sent up the greatest bouche Noel that I’ve ever eaten on Christmas Eve . Thank you all !Written 20 January 2025
- 82liza0 contributionsOvernight stayThe staff completely made our visit. Special shout out to Ismail and Hakeem at the front desk. We did not expect our room to be so small (would highly recommend the upgrade). I only spent 1 night there but appreciate how accommodating and fast acting they were. Dinner was good and also really liked the breakfast buffet.Written 19 January 2025
