- robinvK4506BP0 contributionsAmazing experienceOur guide Fouzia was amazing! She is funny, patient and so kind. This daytrip is an amazing experience to see the "real Morocco". Keep in mind that this day includes a hike, with a lot of climbing. Also it is recommended to take warm clothes with you, as it can be chilly in the mountains. Enjoy!!!Written 25 March 2025
- krishivd20250 contributionsSo amazing tripWe chose this tour because, unlike the majority of other Atlas Mountain itineraries, it made no mention of camel riding, something we didn't want to promote. I'm so happy we did! Amin, our tour guide, was fantastic and made the entire trip! He educated us a lot about the Berber people and was very amiable and knowledgeable. He also shoots the best pictures. The view from the house is stunning, and the climb to the waterfall was fantastic. The lunch with the local family was also really tasty. I would strongly suggest this excursion to anyone looking to spend a day away from Marrakech! It was among the highlights of our Moroccan vacation.Written 24 March 2025
- 314sanaaf0 contributionsWonderfulAmazing views, great host, Yasmin was informative and engaging and we had a great time on the whole trip. I especially enjoyed the camel ride, the camels seemed well cared for and it was a lot of fun. The hike was beautiful. I was fasting as it is Ramadan, and Yasmin gave me some of the Berber lunch to have later which was very kind. Great value for money.Written 24 March 2025

- _I9037WU0 contributionsBest tour ever! This tour is absolutely amazing! Me and my partner have been on a few tours in Morocco, and this one is our favourite. Our guide Fouzia is very helpful and informative. The view of the mountains and waterfall is stunning, and the lunch at the berber village was delicious! We had the same dish elsewhere, but nothing as good and flavoursome as the meal there.Written 21 March 2025
- aishlynsmum0 contributionsA great day out of the cityWe had a fantastic day with lots of variety; made all the better by Omar’s excellent guidance. He was knowledgeable, clearly interested in sharing his culture and happy to do all he could to make the day perfect for our whole group. Lunch was great & the hike gave us an unusual opportunity to see the bérbér community’s way of life. Highly recommended tour.Written 21 March 2025
- Paulinalinas0 contributionsGreat day! 100% worth it.We've had the pleasure of experiencing a day in the Atlas Mountains with Fouzia. Everything was well organised: pick up, comfortable transport, a traditional breakfast and tea experience, a trek with beautiful views of the Atlas Mountains, camel ride, a tasty lunch, and much more. It is absolutely worth it! Fouzia is an incredible guide and also a person you truly enjoy being around, which adds to the whole experience. Thank you!🤍Written 21 March 2025

- Nicola S0 contributionsExcellent informative and enjoyable tourThis was a full day tour meeting at 8.30am. Our Riad was in the centre of the medina so the pick up service was arranged at the nearest convenient location available, only a 5 minute walk from our Riad, very well organised. Our guide Jasmin was superb explaining every aspect of our tour and making sure we were all happy. The visit to the Berber market was excellent and very interesting. Lunch in the Berber village was extremely tasty and very filling followed by a hike into the mountain and waterfall. I would highly recommend this tour and would do it again when I visit Marrakech again.Written 20 March 2025

A great experience!
The guide just started with this job, but was perfectly prepared, spoke really good, almost fluent english and knew the area in every detail as he grew up and still lives in a berber village today. He took us to places that are not crowded too much and always made sure that we felt safe and comfortable while hiking.
It was a nice walk for people in a healthy shape. Not too hard, not too simple. The view was awesome!
When we started our tour he asked if anyone was vegetarian, which was very helpful for my girlfriend and me, because we are. After our arrival in our guide‘s home village his family offered us delicious tea, nuts, tajine and cake. Earlier in the morning a little breakfast was included, too.
Also we didn‘t want to ride a camel, but we still had fun at our very first stop taking photos and spending time with the animals while the others did. The guide was very respectful and didn‘t try to persuate us.
The driver also did an excellent job with a modern, comfortable bus.
So, absolutely recommended!

This trip is great if you like the outdoors, if you have not booked it already do so now. Omar it's very organised, he picked us up close by our Road and had is atop camels 30 mins later. What a way to start a day of adventure. The mountains are beautiful. After a visit to an argen oil cooperative and traditional lunch a gentle hike up to the local waterfall is lovely. On the way Omar stops and explains about the culture and religion of the region. Hint, try not to sleep on the bus so you can see how far up into the mountains you really go :)

Mustapha was a great guide. From story telling, teaching us about the culture and his humour, to taking care of us when my girlfirend felt ill and did all he can to make us feel better. The trip itself included many different activities just as advertised, with the argan oil stop providing a lot of information about the processes of how the products are made. Overall, this was a great trip with a great value for the price paid and would definitely recommend! Shokran Mustapha, Ismail and Jelena

We 100% recommend this. Hotel pick-up was very punctual, the activities were well paced, and the overall experience was great.
Omar, our guide, was amazing and he was able to share lots of information about his culture with us. He helped us take many great photos and on some steep parts of the mountain hike he was always offering an arm to help keep us steady.
We had spent a couple of days in Marrakech and explored some of the main tourist sites already, so it was a worthwhile trip to get out of the city and see the natural beauty surrounding it.
The day-trip was easily the highlight of our trip!

This is a must do experience if you are in Marrakech. The tour started on time, and each activity was well thought out. The hike was a little challenging for me, and our guide Omar made sure I was comfortable and never left behind. He was such a patient and kind person. He made sure we hydrated, offering water just before we needed it. He knew all the challenging spots and stopped to make sure we had no issues climbing. His kindness is even more evident when we stop by at his place to meet his family and had lunch. The food was top restaurant quality. Delicious and beautifully presented. I would definitely do this again, and Omar will be my guide when I do.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Atlas Mountains. Omar, our amazing tour guide, was kind and informative and I found him really easy to talk to. The bus ride was a smooth journey throughout, it was air conditioned so it never felt stuffy. The camel ride was great, and the guides took creative and aesthetic pictures. The food was amazing and in generous amounts, and the tajine was one of the best I've ever had.
If I could, I'd rate this 10 out of 5. I'd love to do it again.

Amazing day with Omar as our guide! He was very informative and it was so interesting to learn about the history and culture of the Berbers. This trip is amazing value for money. For £15 each we had a full day from 8.30am to 6pm. We had a ride on camels (this is optional), sat and drank sage tea whilst Omar told us about the Berbers, we learnt how argan oil is made, we had a small snack and rosemary tea for breakfast, then went on a 2 hour hike visiting a waterfall and passing through local villages with amazing views of the mountains. The hike was a lot of uphill but was broken up by frequent stops to learn some more interesting facts about the area and people. The best thing was the amazing food and hospitality we had at his mothers home at the end of the day.. thank you Omar and family

"Mustapha is a very kind and respectful person. The driver was a very fun person and played his favorite middle eastern music for us as we drove along in the van. I did not catch his name. This tour went beyond all my expectations. What we experienced was far beyond what we were expected to pay to have this very Marrakesh, Berger Village beautiful day. We were picked up at our Riyadh which was so very convenient and right on time! We were given bottles of water all along the way. Our first stop was a camel ride which lasted much longer than was indicated and the animals looked well cared for. We then drove towards the atlas mountains which were beautiful in the distance and more spectacular the closer we got. We were allowed to stop any time to take pictures. The villages and people were remarkably friendly. Mustapha’s mother made such a feast for us that we were not hungry after we returned in the evening. It was a very unique experience to be in their home and see how they lived. The hike to his home was not difficult, however the hike to the waterfall most likely should not be attempted by someone who is not sure footed. Lots of gravel and rocks and climbing. My husband could not do it, and he was accommodated very well by being allowed to stay in the family home or go down to the village and wait for us. But also it’s not mentioned on this tour is the fact that you drive very close to a UNESCO World Heritage site and can take pictures of that beautiful, remarkable place. Also, on our hike, we walked right past a hotel highly recommended by Condé Nast and National Geographic as a unique lodging. There were plenty of opportunities to shop along the way. We could not have been more pleased with this tour and our guide. This tour was more than what I expected and I would do it again. We were treated VERY WELL. Was a truly hospitable experience and one that I would highly recommend"

Mustapha is such a kind soul and the scenery on this trip is incredible 🙌🏼 also his mum’s couscous and tagine are delicious. I enjoyed learning more about Berber life in a way that wouldn’t be possible if you stayed in the city. I came as a solo traveller and it was great to meet other people from around the world. Would highly recommend to do this trip after a few days in Marrakech - the quietness and clean mountain air was an amazing tonic to the chaos of the city!
