A historical heritage palace located in the city of Marrakesh.
It is worth visiting and watching excellence and how a person benefits from previous civilizations

Good trip, awful treatment of camels

If you care for animals, I would avoid this tour. The way they treat the animals is pretty bad.

Found some of it to be a bit of a dump. And very random stop at Richard Bransons hotel which wasn’t in the plan!

Superb tour, Incredible guide.

Did this tour back in Oct 2019 - saw some fascinating places we would not otherwise have seen outside Marrakesh, and Rachid was genuinely an incredible guide; easy company, trustworthy, full of knowledge, effortlessly enthusiastic about the places he showed and also really interested in everyone on his tour.

If you didn't book or have some hesitation : let me tell you that you have to do it.
We had a great day with the guide and all the people we met.
The visit was great and the guide Rachid is very nice and knows very well the history of the berbere people. As he is living in the village near the Atlas mountain.
The lunch was delicious and everything.

Amazing day spent on this tour!!
Sep 2019 • Couples
Rachid was the best tour guide we could have asked for. I was pleasantly surprised by the small size of our group - other than Rachid and the driver, we had a group of four tourists. This made for a very intimate and personal experience. He is very knowledgeable and so funny! He speaks many languages and his English is impeccable. I really enjoyed my day with him. We rode camels, hiked to a waterfall, and had tagine. Not only did he give a great tour of the Atlas Mountains, but he actually invited us over to his own family home. It really doesn’t get more personal than this. Highly recommend!

Rachid will offer You the best experience You can possibly hope for!
Oct 2019
The reason we chose this experience was solely on the basis of the excellent reviews put on TripAdvisor, which were outstanding. That also meant that we were anticipating the tour with high expectations. And, let's make one thing clear immediately, we were not disappointed at all! Rachid, the guide, was a fountain of knowledge on history, geography, culture and botany. He also had so high spirits that he probably could have made a bunch of corpses agree after one of his trips that they had enjoyed themselves.

Jest aside, Rachid picked us up from our hotels at 08:30 in the morning. This was a bit early, but Rachid had a plan, and we did not regret this early start. During the day Rachid stopped at several attractions/experiences along the route he had planned, and since he was not the only operator in, and around, Marrakech offering this tour, we now had the advantage that we always came early (read first) to these attractions. We would be the first or second car to arrive, and when we left, the parking lots would be crowded with the people who had been sleeping in and had started at 09:00.

Arriving into the foothills of the High Atlas mountains was fantastic, with the great mountain views and the lush vegetation compared to the lowlands surrounding Marrakesh. Stopping at several points that offered very nice vistas, including a glimpse of Jebel Toukbal, the second highest mountain in Africa after Kilimanjaro, meant many "Kodak" moments.

The round trip in Imlil with the waterfall was very picturesque. Walking in the shadow of the large trees covering the hillsides was pleasant, and there were lots of vantage points to view the valley and the impressive mountains. All the Berber people we met were exceptionally nice and welcoming, and Rachid knew almost all of them, joking and bantering along the way, always making sure that all of us had a good time.

After walking and sightseeing for a couple of hours through the beautiful mountainside and visiting several villages of Imlil, we had a fantastic lunch from a restaurant roof terrace with astounding views to the impressing mountain range that is the High Atlas mountains.

After the lunch, Rachid went the extra mile, and invited us home to his own village and house and served tea and traditional snacks. We also went over to his aunts house as well, and got to meet many members of his family, including his mother, which we promptly told that she had a wonderful son.

When this was finished, someone had driven the car from where we started the walk and up to the restaurant where we had lunch. Rachid then drove us all back to Marrakesh and we enjoyed all the nice views in opposite order.

Conclusion : If You are staying in Marrakesh and want a day tour to the High Atlas and Imlil, look no further. Rachid will offer You the best experience You can possibly hope for!

A great day in the mountains
Sep 2019 • Solo
Rachid went the extra mile to make sure all his guests where comfortable. He spend time explaining us his place, culture and traditions of the place and was open to every kind of question.

In the morning he picked me up on a minivan with 7 more people - great size for a group. After driving for a while, Rachid started explaining along the way and was open to our questions. We did many stops to shop/eat/ride camels, visit local market, eat again, have tea and all.

The most amazing part for me was when Rachid took us to his village up in the mountains, offered us tea in his house, introduced us to his house and most amazingly, that day they had a wedding and the local women where gathered up and preparing for it. Rachid took us all around that and was one of the greatest sceneries i’ve seen.

Thanks a lot bro!

Hands down best tour ever!
The tour was beyond what I expected, a total cultural immersion. Our host Rachid was awesome. He’s very knowledgeable about history of the Atlas Mountains and the villages along the way. We got to experience a camel ride, where/ how Árgan oil comes from etc. He made our experience here in Marrakesh wonderful with his tour. If your looking for someone to make your day this is your guy!

P.s I not much of a hiking type of person. He made the hike interesting and very helpful along the way.
