- ankathleenh0 contributionsPigeon in the desertVery nice evening with a lovely view over the desert thanks to the guide who also took some very nice Instagramworthy pictures! Also very grateful for the camel who caried us and the pigeon we saw in the desert (?!). Afterwards there was a nice dinner with beautiful performances. Special thanks to Mustafa who made sure we got there and back safely in a very comfartable way.Written 22 October 2024

- HalinkaEM0 contributionsAn unforgettable experience! What an amazing experience! Samir is a fantastic guide and made the whole day such an unforgettable 'one of a kind' adventure for myself and my husband. The Atlas Mountains are so beautiful, we feel blessed to have had the opportunity to be guided by Samir, and also have an insight in to his life there. His English and knowledge of the area is excellent. We highly recommend this experience. Thank you Samir for making it so special for us.Written 10 August 2023

- Tony C0 contributionsLasting memories of an amazing 3 days in the Atlas MountainsView Morocco arranged a trek for my wife and myself for three days to the summit of Mt Toubkal in the Atlas Mountains. We wanted a private trek for the two of us, and private rooms are n the refuges along the way. This was all arranged perfectly by VM. We were picked up at the arranged place on time and driven in a nice vehicle to Imlil to meet our guides and stow our luggage. Our guide Ibrahim was amazing, a true Berber man with a lovely friendly personality, and always eager to please us and have some laughs. He taught us lots about the mountains and life there. Our muleteer/cook, Hussein, was brilliant. He would go ahead and prepare the most amazing meals ready for our arrival at meeting points and refuges. The food was very varied, excellent quality and plentiful....in fact the amount was overwhelming. Our trip was great, the accommodation was very good and exciting. We both made the summit, thanks to the help and patience of Ibrahim, even though I was suffering from altitude sickness. I refused to give up and we got there after a very long and slow hike. I would definitely recommend the three day hike, as it gives a much better itinerary. Thanks to all at View Morocco for giving us some lasting memories of a great achievement.Written 28 May 2023
- 718jessieb0 contributionsAtlas Mountains and desert private trip exceeded our expectations!I did a lot of research for our trip to Morocco and had reached several tour operators before deciding to go with View Morocco. I felt that they were the only company that truly listened to what we wanted to do, which was a multi-day private tour that included trekking in the Atlas mountains, Ait Ben Haddou, Merzouga and Marrakech spread over 6 days breaking up the long drives in between. Ghizlaine was very responsive and patient with my questions and requests during the planning process. The trip that she put together for us, the guides, riads, desert camp all exceeded our expectations! We love our trekking guide Hussein in Imlil. He pointed out things to us that we would not have noticed during the 2 day Atlas Mountain trek. He was great with our two kids 11yo and 15yo and kept them engaged. The luxury desert camp they booked for us has only 20 tents and took one hour on the camel to get to, compared to some other we saw along the way that seemed overly crowded with more than 30 tents!! Love how secluded, private and luxurious our camp was! Yassine, our driver for the next 4 days traveling from Imlil to Dras Valley, Dades Valley, Togdra Gorge, Ouarzazate, Merzouga and back to Marrakech was excellent, considerate and really affable. I told him that a Berber rug was on my list of things to buy and he took us to visit a Berber nomad house where we spent an entertaining hour learning about their culture, marriage customs and the rugs they made by hand and I left a happy customer. Yassine also surprised us with a tagine as a gift ('coz I had asked many questions about cooking with one) and little souvenirs for the kids. We were truly touched. Another pleasant surprise on the trip was visiting Ait Ben Haddou on our last day prior to Marrakech as that meant spending an overnight at the riad across from it. We got to visit the UNESCO site around sunset and had the whole place to ourselves. It's an actual village with 5 families still living in it. The large group tours descend on the site between 10am - 2pm. The only downside to the trip were the long drives, 5 - 7hrs, between the places and some of it was really winding and our 11yo got car-sick a far bit but we came prepared with ziplock bags and wipes. Yassine took care to drive as best as he could to minimize that. All in all, we were so happy to have chosen View Morocco as we felt they truly went out of the way to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!Written 16 April 2023
- Eveyke0 contributionsReally great hiking tripMy friens and I did the 4 day Toubkal Trek and we loved it! Our guide Mohammed was very knowledgable, nice, experienced and made us both feel really secure. He adapted his speed perfectly to our level so we got up and down the mountain in perfect condition :-) The rental shoes weren't great so if you have the space: bring your own shoes (and crampons maybe). But it's ok. Our cook, Rasheed, was able to cater to my friend's dietary requirements and they beought so many fresh things. We ate until we couldn't anymore. He always had tea ready for us and took care of our belongings with the mule. The guesthouse in Imlil, Dar Ouassagou, and its host, Hamid were also incredibly helpful! All in all I would highly recommend this tour. Only thing missing is a bit more information before: level of fitness required (it is a mountain of more than 4100m, so you have to be quite fit to reach the top), when the tour starts, what's the intenerary. But since it all workes out for us, it was really good!Written 16 April 2023
- 48lauraf0 contributionsReally great experienceIt was a really good experience. The guide has "change" the planning according to our necessities and requirements. I will recommend it.Written 11 April 2023
- albergar20 contributionsFantastic trip to explore inland Morocco and climb to its highest peak! The trip consisted in two parts: Mount Toubkal hike (2 days) + Driving tour across inland Morocco to Merzouga (3 days). View Morocco managed both parts exceptionally, with very good local guides that not only provided explanations but really cared about our safety and needs (very important when climbing Toubkal, thanks Mohammed 1 for this!). The driving tour was really good too, the driver was very professional and drove safely through the whole trip (thanks Mohammed 2 for this!). He adapted the schedules to our requirements and managed to book for us an incredible Quad experience in the Sahara Desert. Accommodation was entirely managed by View Morocco and was quite good. The quality-price ratio of this trip with View Morocco is exceptional, with a car just for the three of us and a luxury camp in the desert, definitely worth every penny. I’m a solo traveler and sometimes it’s difficult to join groups that want to to do exactly the same kind of trip on those dates, but View Morocco was able to manage this and grouped me with a Belgian couple of a similar age with whom we have become friends. Thank you for such an amazing trip!Written 12 October 2022

Lots of time on the road but worth it. Careful driver, willing to stop along the way. Enjoyed staying in riads in centres. Camel ride to desert and overnight in tent was highlight. Contrasted with Atlas Mountains which we didn't expect to see.
