Nouaman was my guide in Chefchaoun, his English was exceptional. He showed us wonderful local places. Having grown up in Chefchaoun, he is well connected in the communing and very helpful. The bakery he took us to had phenomenal cookies, and the baked goat cheese with honey and walnuts at lunch was beyond expectation. Yes, he will take you to the most photographed doorways and walkways in the world, but he will also guide you down some you've not seen before. He also has a profound love for animals, like most moroccans, he cares for the dogs and cats within the community -could you ask for more? 10/10 would recommend!

This was our first visit to chefchaouen and it was just awesome. The place is great and on top our host omar made is super exciting. Omar had demonstrated every detail from tangier to chef and in chef. Would love to go there again and with omar.

My guide was Faoud. He was amazing. Very knowledgeable of the area and hikes at your pace. With a small group able to cater the hike around what you'd like to see, and skill level. Both Faoud, Mae and Omar were very communicative and even gave great suggestions outside the hike for your stay in Chefchaouen. Faoud came to get you right to your Road/Hotel including into the medina. This is particularly helpful when trying to navigate in this area and beautiful blue streets. I would recommend booking early time slots to avoid crowds. So far this was my favourite day in my travels in Morocco and it's thanks to this great team.

What a wonderful tour of Chefchaouen we had today with our Guide Muarad. We spent 4 hours in the Medina and he described the sites from both a historical and a cultural perspective. Every question that we asked him was answered fully and cheerfully. We could see that Muarad is very proud of where he was born and raised and that he was very passionate about being a professional tour guide.

We were invited to join in the tour by a fellow hotel guest. Omar provided a fun and engaging experience and was always willing to stop and take pictures. Glad we did this tour and recommend it to others.

As well as being very knowledgeable, interesting and flexible, Omar was great fun and great company! We did a full day with him in Chefchaouen and Akchour waterfalls, we learned a lot about both (and Morocco overall) and we had a fantastic time. 100% recommend!

We were very happy with our guide Omar. During our stay in Chefchaouen, we also booked a tour for the Akchour waterfalls and citytour. The day before he contacted us to reconfirm the pick up details. It was good to have an early start and we visited the waterfalls almost on our own. The tour guide allowed a lot of breaks just to let us enjoy the scenery and the quiteness. Also due to the fact he knows a lot of people, we had an excellent lunch near the waterfalls. Omar is friendly, knows a lot, speaks english fluently, is very relaxed. He is working the programm, but also is looking for your special needs or interests and can easily adapt the programm. He has also a big hospitality, given the fact he treated us on very good morrocan pastry just for the experience. In the end, the day with Omar was interesting, relaxed and enjoyable. The best tour guide I had in my two weeks in Morocco. They don't pimp you out to certain vendors that they have kickback deals with. They always intervened with any shopkeepers immediately, but always invited us to let them know if we wanted to stop somewhere. They will take you by every top Instagram spot if that's what you're into. They take photos and share them wirelessly. Never pushy about a tip or fee for this extra either. You will learn about the history and the different sectors of town. Maë keeps Omar focused if you happen to be there during the World Cup and he gets distracted! 😂

Most guides are good but OMAR really does go out of his way to make the tour (and the time before and afterwards) as plesant as possible. Always making sure everyone is happy!! He always checked with everyone, about even the little details. Maë was always ready taking awsome pictures of whoever felt like it. It was more like a walk with friends. Thank you again

You need to explore Chefchaouen with Mae and Omar. Trust me, you won’t regret it! They were incredible hosts! I found out about this tour last minute and they were able accommodate me. Mae and Omar are so friendly and personable. I didn’t know anyone else in the group but by lunch time we were all chatting like friends. That’s how easy going and fun our experience was. Our tour was extensive and they provided a lot of historical and personal context about the community that they live in. We got to interact with several locals, which made my visit so much more meaningful. ❤️ Omar and Mae were more than happy to help get the perfect shots 📸 so you don’t even have to worry about that. Lunch was delicious and I learned so much about the history and diverse culture of this gorgeous city!

Omar and Mae are amazing guides. Both are so knowledgeable about Chefchaouen. There are no words to describe the great time I had with them. Learning about Moroccan culture and seeing the beautiful town from different perspectives is indescribable. I did not know what to expect when going around Chefchaouen, but the stories Omar and Mae shared made me appreciate the area and people so much more. Chefchaouen is an amazing city, filled with a culture on its own, there will be many picturesque spot and if you want the best pictures taken, ask for Omar Omar and Maelys were this dynamic duo, with her DSLR and his mad iPhone skills they took better pictures than most professional Omar is the best tour guide there. Loud enough to hear all the historical facts, kind enough to get juice, tea and snacks for us, also when we went for lunch at this busy restaurant, he was being our waiter just so our food wasn't late. Btw the restaurant he took us to was the best food I tiered in Morocco and the cheapest too. Even after running up and down the Chefchaouen hills 3 times a day, Omars energy was still full, he made us laugh, took care of the elderly in our group, entertained us all day and made sure the tour wasn't rushed and that we all enjoyed very much. We did a walking tour with Omar and Maelys and it was such an incredible introduction to Chefchaouen and Morocco! Omar was very knowledgeable about the city and it’s history and culture and was able to answer all the questions we threw his way. He is a very passionate and friendly guide. Maelys accompanied us and took some beautiful photos which was nice to be able to get some good photos of us (not just selfies) and hear about the history of the city at the same time!
