It was our second experience with safari. First try we did in Sri Lanka. After African experience I understood, that Sri Lanka was a good test. Safari in Tanzania - absolutely uniq. Especially for people, who likes nature. It was amazing day in savanna- we could see plants and animals, that were seen just in book before. We was inspired. I had to recommend this activity for every visitors of Tanzania - it is obligatory, believe me) And special thanks the company and guides - fantastic day, I want to repeat someday! Maksim

Our experience at Mikumi Park in Max's camp was the highlight of our trip to Tanzania. Max made our first safari adventure truly unforgettable. We initially booked our tour through an agent at Sindbad Tours & Safaris in Stone Town. Unfortunately, the agent did not fulfill their promise to pay for the camp and tour. Despite this setback, Max ensured everything proceeded smoothly, just as if it had been properly booked and paid for. Max's proficiency in advanced English made communication easy and clear. His team was incredibly helpful and competent, providing exceptional personal and professional service. Max's dedication to maintaining the reputation of his country, even when dealing with unreliable third parties, was commendable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're planning a safari, Max's camp at Mikumi Park is simply the best choice!

Three days trip to mikumi was such an amazing experience, me and my friends where humbly honored to be hosted by Max a nicest guy to spend time with, and john the guy back at the camp such a nice guy with a 10/10 hospitality. Looking forward to be hosted by the double G safaris to more and more adventurer places. I miss there already.

We spent 6 days/5 nights with Double G and had the most amazing time. The entire experience gave us some many memories that we will cherish forever. Max and his team are so knowledgeable, kind and welcoming. His logde is just on the edge of Mikumi Park and is ideal for those who really want to experience all that Tanzania has to offer. The chats by the fire in the evening learning some Swahili from his staff and that's even before mentioning visiting the Masi and learning about their lives, a boat trip up the River Ruiji and seeing hippos and crocodiles and of course the safari in Nyerere and Mikumi. Max and his guide Níck know all there is to know about the wildlife. We also had an amazing walk up to the Chizua Waterfall. Paulo our Masi guide told us all about the farmers and their produce as we went. His enthusiasm and pride in his Tribe and country is truly inspiring. At the top of the waterfall we got to soak our feet in the lovely cold water and ape d time in the spectacular surrounds. I could go on and on.

Amazing safari experience with Max from Double G Safaris. Max is a very experienced guide and thanks to his good eye we saw a lot of wild animals including a lot of young animals. He has a lot of detailed knowledge about the nature and animals and is just a very fun guy. The accomodation and transfers were perfectly organzied and we also booked the Kilimanjaro climb through and ended up having a great time there as well. Thanks for the great experience, Max!!

We did the one day safari at Makumi National Park with Max. It was perfectly organized. We see a lot of animals, get a nice lunch and max informed us very well. He was a very nice guide and ver respectful with the animals. That was great to see. It was a perfecr and magic day at Makumi.

I decided to do a solo trip to Africa for my birthday 🎂. I was a little nervous because it was just me going on a safari. Max did an amazing job making me feel included. He's a very kind and friendly man. Very attentive and knowledgeable about the animals in the safari. He is also a great photographer 📸. He takes amazing pictures, using only a Samsung cell phone and binoculars! If you like an adventure and want to get up close and personal with animals you will want Max as your safari guide!

The Safari was amazing! Max did a great job and made in an unforgettable trip for us. He had so many interessting facts about the animals and the nature. Double G Safari is a nice little lodge on the edge of Mukumi Park. the welcome is simple but very warm and the staff very helpful. the brand new lodges welcome you comfortably with a view of nature. I recommend this address.

Excellent safari! The safari was very well organised. Max was very friendly, his explanations about the animals and nature were very good and interesting and helped to gain an understanding.
