About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- NeilSchier0 contributionsChobe National ParkWhen they say full day they mean it. Pick up in Victoria Falls and return 10.5 hours Morning cruise of 3 hours on Chobe River is amazing with many animals. Then lunch buffet before heading out on a game tour for the afternoon. We did get bogged in Kalahari for a while but this just added to the experience. Many animals up close and some great scenic areas.Written 14 September 2024
- rebuilds0 contributionsMeet the oldest crocodileThe crocodile farm offers rich information about the lives of crocodiles. You get to learn a lot about how crocodiles mate, eat and how long they survive. Crocodiles never stop growing.Written 17 June 2024
- vadimm8670 contributionsSafe and reliable operator to Chovbe from Victoria FallsWe went with this operator not expecting too much but the quality of service was outstanding. Communication via WhatsApp was great. We were picked from our hotel in time and quickly transferred to Botswana very smoothly. There we changed the vehicle to a legendary Land cruiser safari edition and went for an exciting game drive in Chobe. After this we had a delightful lunch and continued to a boat cruis on the Chobe river. This was a cherry on the cake. We saw huge crocodiles, hippos and of course elefants up close. The experience was amazing. I am really happy that I went with United Safari on this tour. Highly recommend operator!Written 17 March 2024
- I1194MOmelissam0 contributionsBeautiful, great value, do this day trip!Such a great time!! We saw tons of elephants (including babies!), lions, a slew of other animals. I live in Kenya so I'm no stranger to safaris but I would still recommend this trip to people who have done them. The landscape is unique with elephants swimming through the Chobe River with their trunks up like little snorkels (seen during the boat safari portion) and Bostwana on one side and Namibia on the other. The lunch was also perfect, with a range of options for every diet (including vegetarians like myself). We went in 4x4 with open sides, so there were views all around. The day was perfectly organized with pick up at my accommodation, crossing the border, car safari, lunch, boat safari, and return to the accomodation. It didn't feel rushed at all even though it was all done in one day. Great value, definitely recommend.Written 4 March 2024
- Connector563775469370 contributionsNice experienceWas a lot of fun, we saw hundreds of a big variety of animals, like elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes and more. For lunch we went to a resort where we had buffet. Sadly the time at the border took very long.Written 7 November 2023
- r0amerse0 contributionsGreat experience, warm welcome and fantastic organisationGreat organisation. We felt welcome and safe on both sides of the border. Questions upfront were answered via WhatsApp to my full consent. We were picked up on time at our hotel in Chobe and transferred to the border were we another car picked us up. We arranged a time to be picked up for our return. The recommendations for food at the falls were great. Since we had no internet in Simbabwe we couldn't communicate with the drivers but they even came looking for us when we weren't at the pickup spot in time. Be careful of the shopkeepers at the dropoff spot, not dangerous but they are trying their best to talk you out of your money. When you buy at one shop the others stand in line to tell you to share the business also with them but dont be fooled, they are all a big family. As a group of 16 people we were nervous if all would work out but were positively surprised. The price was higher than booking on spot but stil fair and worth the knowledge to be safely picked up especially with complicated border crossing and missing internet.Written 9 October 2023
- lovenessz890 contributionsFun filled Chobe Day trip experienceThe Chobe River cruise and safari were both unforgettable experiences. Our mobile phone storages were overloaded with photos. The lunch at Mowana was brilliant, very tasty food😋Written 7 October 2023
- LauraMit0 contributionsOMG the most amazing safari experience!!OMG the most amazing safari experience!! Elephants, elephants, hippos, and more elephants!!! I’d do this experience over and over again!!Written 11 September 2023
- 598arnaudm0 contributionsAvoid at all costThe driver never turned up despite the agent keep telling us he was on his way. After 1h30 of waiting at the meeting point agreed, the agent said we could be picked up but only at a different picking up point which was 1h away from where we were. Disgusting and unreliable. We should have been told straight away he was not coming to start looking for alternative. Not impressedWritten 6 September 2023
- Firefly780 contributionsSpectacular safari experience!Incredible experience! Our Guide was Willie and we saw an amazing array of wildlife. Most impressively we saw a Leopard! The first part pf the trip was a game drive in an open vehicle. In addition to the amazing leopard we saw herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras and impalas. The second part of the tour was a cruise on the Chobe river where crocodiles, hippos and fish eagles were plentiful.Written 21 July 2023
- Journey208002251490 contributionsSo many ImpalaAmazing day. Lots of wildlife, elephants, hippos, giraffes, water Buffalo and lions. Chobe is awesomeWritten 30 June 2023
- Anonymous8550 contributionsYou MUST have an double entry visa to return to Zimbabwe or you pay fully again!I missed clicking on "Additional Information" on Trip Advisor's info and relied on ticket we were issued that led me to believe it was included in the transfer. We were practically accosted at the border by the local transfer driver to stand in the horribly disorganized line to buy another Visa for re-entry. Lucky we had that amount of cash on us! Pick up was 1/2 hour late and then we crammed in more people at the border from the Livingstone hotel. It would help if they tell you no drinks are included with your buffet lunch, not even water so duh, take your water that you're handed in the car inside with you. Then they seat you for lunch and do not tell you how much time you have to eat. So people at our table had just ordered coffee and got dessert when an angry woman loading the afternoon boat said we were late and to go down there right now. How can we be late for a time we don't know about?? Buffet was acceptable food. The vehicle we rode is was an extremely high step up and could pose a problem for impaired people. Morning driver on land drove right into a group of lions under a tree...yikes! We enjoyed the afternoon boat ride as he turned it into more story telling and easy following the riverside animals. I can't recommend this experience. There must be something better.Written 31 May 2023

Told us so much about the culture, tradition and way of life. So interesting and much fun was had stamping mielies into flour. If you want to more then I definitely recommend this tour. Also many thanks to Lewis, did an excellent job choosing the richt village and showing us around.Written 28 April 2023
- Helenjen0 contributionsTransfer to Zimbabwe/Botswana border was horrific! The only reason this transfer from our hotel in Victoria Falls to our hotel in Botswana gets 2/5 was because the transfer from the border to our hotel was in a comfortable spacious bus with plenty of room for us and our luggage and had the luxury of seatbelts! The driver who picked us up in Vic Falls was late and he was driving a small rundown vehicle with another passenger already in the front with her couple of bags. We then had to squeeze into the back seat that barely had room for the two of us and then our 2 large suitcases and 2 air trolley bags had to fit in the back behind us!! It was soooo cramped and uncomfortable, every time we went around a corner, a bag would knock my head into an even more uncomfortable position!! There were no seatbelts in the back....which I was initially worried about, but on the bright side we were jammed in so tightly, don't think we'd get thrown out of the car if in an accident. Do not allow this person to do transfers like this again....please.Written 12 April 2023
- Journey8247510 contributionsA brilliant dayI was apprehensive when my hotel pick up in Victoria Falls was quite late and as we set out to pick up others, not the best looking vehicle I've ever been in to go on safari. I need not have worried. We were 10 in total by the time we'd all been collated from multiple collectors and transferred st the Zimbabwe-Botswana border to our proper safari transport. We had an excellent mornings safari, saw lots of animals and birds, we dropped for lunch at a great Riverside location for a marvellous lunch before heading off for the rest of the afternoon on a cruise on the water. Quite a long but brilliant day.Written 27 March 2023
