        A perfect Trip
Thank you to the Kaya Tours team for an excellent program that made my 7 Days in Ghana a truly memorable trip. Everything around my trip was well-planned and coordinated with a perfectly suited vehicle. My Guide, Ishmael, was excellent and knowledgeable about the destination. He explained everything and shared videos of the destinations I visited. I had fantastic accommodation for the entire trip, but my highlight was at Bays Lodge in Accra; the staff there were very kind and welcoming; I was home, away from home. They all smiled. Mr Abeiku, the owner, was very friendly, helpful, and informative, which added to the overall sense of confidence that you should book tours with them. He offered several short visits at free cost. I visited one of the local radio stations, the new commercial port in Accra, and found them very interesting. Whether you are a family looking for a luxury trip or a single traveler like me looking to get off the beaten path of Ghana, the Kaya Tours team will find the itinerary for you. I'm returning to Ghana and can't wait to book my trip with Kaya Tours again.

        Perfect daytrip from Accra
The Volta lake is really beautiful and Akosombo dam most impressive. The baboos that we met on the road were my highlight of the day. Unfortunately the boat we wanted to take did not leave, but we could take a smaller one instead. The guide cared a lot, also bought local food for us, and made it a fantastic day.

        Good experience
Picked up in a mini bus from each of our accommodations first pick up 6am prompt. We made it back home by 8pm. The mini bus was equipped with A/C and Wi-Fi. Friendly and attentive staff. Free gifts. Smoothish journey (Ghana roads). Very informative tour of the castles. Nice day out, nice company. Would recommend the tour company to anyone interested in visiting cape coast. You don’t need to bring too many things. Just a bag, big enough to carry all valuable belongings on your person. We all felt safe. The guide took pictures for us of the day out. Many thanks Kaya Tours.

I had an amazing time during my tour of Accra with Nathan. He was early, courteous, respectful and super knowledgeable. He summarized years of history with detail from memory based on 23 years of experience. The tour was flexible, interactive and adaptable. We visited several historical sites, castles, government buildings, and a huge trading market. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone in Accra!!

This tour was absolutely amazing. We visited all the places as mentioned but our guide, Ishmael, went above and beyond from the beginning. Our day started with Makola Market but due to traffic, we were stuck. Ishmael answered questions we had about the market and had us try the fried cassava and coconut treats. So good! There were also refreshments available on the truck just in case.

At some point my cousin ask about fabric that we saw from the truck. Ishmael got out and brought the vendor to us. CRAZYYYY! His partner came to move the truck a bit and Ishmael was steady working for us… getting beads and everything. NONE of us expected this and it was certainly above any service that any of us expected. We got all our shopping done right there. Lol.

At the end of our tour, there was lunch provided at Laboma Beach. The canopy set up and lunch were great. At some point, Ishmael had gotten my 8 year old a kite and showed her how to fly it. Again, awesome!

If you’re searching for who to tour with, your search can stop right here. I’m certain you will be please.

      Best regards to all.

Gilbert was so fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and went off the itinerary to show me other things I was interested in. He also paid for me to try some street food! I loved my tour and had no issues being a solo female traveller. Book here you won't regret it!

I went on this tour as a solo traveler, and despite my insistence on not being touched or hit on, the tour guide made me feel uncomfortable and awkward for most parts. I had to get my husband to call the tour company and call the tour guide - even then, the tour guide became slightly hostile. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience.

This is unprofessional, unethical, very unfortunate and the first time getting such negative feedback. We are sorry that our guide did not provide high level of professional service that you expected and deserved. Since the guide driver plays a crucial role in enhancing the tour experience , Management as a matter of urgency will investigate this issue and severe sanctions will be served on the guide driver if found guilty. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this may have caused you.

This is one of the best tours I have had during my stay in Accra.
The tour was organized by David he made sure that we visited all the areas as mentioned. David provided his historical perspective of Accra and the meanings behind different monuments in Accra. Each places we went to had their own tour guides and it was interesting as well.
The highlight of the tour was seeing the historical pictures of Kwame Nkrumah taken during his lifetime and Queen Elizabeth's and Prince Charles' bed at the Osu Castle.
      I highly recommend this tour!!

Strolling in Accra, having your breakfast with fresh coconuts and bananas, eating street food, having a rest on the ocean front, waiting for spending the night in a outdoor bar or club ... Accra why are you so far?

My son and I had a fantastic day with our guides Koby and David. The tour started with a visit to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park. At the park, we were given a detailed history and overview of the President Nkrumah and the significance of the park. Next we headed to Black Star Square and Gate. We were allowed to climb up the Gate and had a great view of the city. The last stop was Osu Castle. Koby provided a detailed history of the castle and it's significance to Ghana.
At no point were we rushed. We took our time and all of our questions were answered. The tour was modified at our request, which made it even more enjoyable.
This tour is a great way to discover Accra and provide ideas for further exploration.
