About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- BartJansse0 contributionsAmazing 10 day long customized eco- and culture trip in Ghana! My girlfriend and I went for a customized 10 day long trip in Ghana. We had an amazing time enjoying all the best Ghana has to offer. We had good (local and continental) food, nice hotels, diverse activities and expert guidance. In preparation for our trip they assisted us in getting our Visa. The trip was custommade for our wishes, preferences and budget, in this whole proces Shadrack, the owner and our guide, worked with us and communicated timely and clearly. In 10 days we visited many regions of Ghana. Activities ranged from beautifull waterfalls and walking and car safari's spotting wild elephants and many animals in Mole National Park to historical castles and forts and cultural sites and traditions. All this with our private driver who was very funny, safe and fast! We would not have been able to do this trip without Shadrack (guide) and Emmanuel (driver). They made travelling easy, comfortable and worry-free.Written 16 July 2024
- C9173IPamandad0 contributionsA great way to see GhanaThis tour consolidated some of the best experiences of Ghana. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and always up for adventure. Me only complaint is that I wish I had booked a longer tour.Written 4 February 2023
- EmmanuelKojoAtinga0 contributionsA great and wonderful tour in GhanaThe tour guides were super exceptional and friendly. All the meals and hotel were great. We also visited all the tour centres and loved the beautiful country, Ghana. I will highly recommend anyone who wants to visit Ghana to travel with this company as all the proceeds they make goes to support their charity program in Buduburam ( futurestarsghana.com)Written 26 January 2023
- atingab20230 contributionsIt was fun and loving tour with with Star Tour GhanaThis was the first time I had travelled with Star Tour Ghana. The company specialises in expert-led cultural and gulet tours in Ghana. Accommodation comfortable and food excellent. The expert guide who accompanied us was outstanding - passionate, informative, engaging and entertaining. I obviously at the heart of the itinerary planning, and attention to detail is second to none. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a fun, relaxed, educational holiday with fine food - they will deliver! Their proceeds also goes to support 150 less privileged children they support in Buduburam.Written 26 January 2023
- Tour3254950 contributionsExploring the areaI was in Ghana for 2 weeks to teach and Shadrack took me around the area. I saw a ton of crocodiles, went to the botanical gardens which was fascinating as it had more trees than flowers. Not sure if it was the time of year or what. Probably my favorite was visiting the waterfall and going to Kakum National Park.Written 26 November 2019
- Adrienne H0 contributions10-day tour in GhanaI travelled with Star Tours over the summer for 10 days, and it was one of the best and most memorable trips of my life! Shadrack and the driver, Emmanuel, are really great company, know how to get around everywhere, and know of some AMAZING places to bring tourists. They really go out of their way to make sure you have an amazing experience for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend if you want to see some beautiful places, and don't want to worry so much about transportation, directions, price negotiation, itinerary planning, etc. I will definitely travel with them again when I go back ;)Written 26 November 2019

Benjamin and his driver were excellent guides. I would highly recommend this tour for a thorough overview of the slave trade in that area. They were very accommodating, even with a few minor changes of plans, and we had some delicious meals. I got a feel for the Ghanian culture as well. The owner, Shadrach, who I met at the beginning of the tour, reminded me that their profits go to support an orphanage. This, along with their thoroughness, sets them apart from other tours.
