We saw all the major landmarks and learnt about the history of Namibia. The drive thru the settlements and the commentary was very interesting. Tasting local food was a treat. Thanks Shaka.🙂

This tour was incredible. It was fast paced but it had to be to see as much as we did. The accommodations were well above expectations and very comfortable. I met some incredible people in our group and we became like a family. Our guide Gregory was great and very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw so many animals in etosha and got to see some beautiful sights on the Skelton coast, Swakopmund, and Walvis Bay. These 4 days went by so fast. Next time I’ll do the longer tour. Will definitely book again. Highly recommended!

Our guide Simon was the absolute best and definitely made the experience!!! He had such an amazing attitude and was so lovely we would definitely ask for him to be our guide if we did it again (which we would!). We had the best time and met such amazing people, making the three days go so so fast! Would 100% recommend, such an amazing experience especially for the price!

One of the best tours I've ever done in my life. The distribution of days and places visited is very well planned, also the food, hotels/lodges and even how to spend spare time. The group I traveled with was amazing and I made lifetime connections. I learned so much about Africa, animals and many other topics I couldn't stop asking about. I'd like to thank Gregory, our tour guide, for being so kind and making this experience remarkable, I won't forget.

We spent more than a week traveling around top places- Etosha, Skeleton Coast etc. Just amazing. We were taken care by two guys -Kennedy and Smithlee. They are super nice, friendly, competent. They always had something interesting to say about wildlife, traditions, customs of the local tribes and general life in Namibia. On top of this we enjoyed great fire cooking and grilling. Well done, guys!

We just completed this tour today. Our tour guide Anton was amazing! He was very knowledgeable, professional and an amazing individual who knew a great deal about the city, township and the beautiful country of Namibia. I would highly recommend this tour and definitely ask for Anton.

This was amazing tour that I have ever had! There were 3 members and one driver which was a small group. We enjoyed every event that he took us and explained. The meal was also sooo good!!! The campsite was so clean that we took a shower every night. When we had time, we went to the restaurant to stay and to be chill. Thank you, Anton!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our guide Gregg was wonderful, and I highly recommend the four day tour with Chameleon. It's a great overview of the vast and unexpectedly surprising territory that is Namibia!

I’ve just returned from an incredible 6 day camping safari trip through southern Namibian with fantastic sights of the desert landscape. Our guide driver Raymond and our cook Bronihel are a wonderful team who took great care looking after us throughout the tour. All the stops provided a chance to appreciate and experience the Namibian landscape in its vastness, harshness and beauty. An overnight sleepover close to the Fish River Canyon to give visitors a sleep underneath the stars as well as a sunrise or sunset experience of the canyon would be a wonderful addition to this itinerary.

I have just returned from the absolutely wonderful 6 day trip to the Etosha National Park organised by Chameleon Safaris. There were so many highlights it would be difficult to pick out just one, but perhaps the best was seeing an extended family of elephants drink and wash at a waterhole only a few feet away. It is primarily a camping trip so be prepared to put up and take down you own tent (with some assistance) and generally muck in with some of the chores such as washing up dishes after meals etc. it makes life easier for everyone. Although it was billed as a budget trip it was great value for money. A special shout out to the fantastic Simon - our excellent driver, cook and guide for the entire trip. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he kept smiling for the entire six days which really takes some doing. He even managed to cope with my unusual dietary quirks without so much as a raised eyebrow! Chameleon has a well-deserved reputation for being one of the best tour operators in Namibia. Thoroughly recommended and with Simon at the wheel you won’t go far wrong.

The trip was amazing and Simon is the best guide out there! Always with a nice smile and good energy, he deserves a raise :)

Food & Stops: Food was always freshly prepared, and our dietary needs were well taken care of. Simon ensured that there were various stops along the way for restroom breaks, which was particularly helpful with kids in tow. The facilities were decent, which made the journey even more comfortable.

Simon, Our Guide: Simon was incredible—not only was he punctual and professional, but he also had a great sense of timing. He made sure we caught the sunset on Elim Dune and the sunrise on Dune 45, both of which were unforgettable moments. Simon was also fantastic at capturing our family memories, taking beautiful photos that we will cherish forever.
