About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 22yichiw0 contributionsExcellent - Wish I Can Give 7⭐️This is one of the best tour we ever join. We do Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour with Breakfree Adventures. The company really take care of us so nicely. From beginning to end, everything very smooth. We visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the biggest Buddhist stupa in the world. So peaceful and many people walking around with prayer wheel. Feel very spiritual place. Then we go to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, very historical and beautiful city. We see old palace, temples and traditional Newari culture. The place really amazing, like travel back in time. Our guide very informative and always helpful. He explain everything with clear English and always smile. Also very careful – he check every time if we left anything in shop, restaurant or even in car after finish tour! We feel very safe and happy with him. Our driver also very professional. Kathmandu traffic not easy, but he drive very safe and smooth. He know the roads very well. Breakfree Adventures give us best service ever. They answer all our questions before tour and always ready to help us. Really top service. We feel so lucky to find this company. Wish we can give 7 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! Never had this kind of service before. We already plan to come back Nepal again for trek in Himalayas. Of course, Breakfree Adventures will be our leader. We trust them 100%. Thank you so much Team Breakfree. What a great company to deal with. See you soon again 🙏😊Written 23 March 2025
- HappyJamaicaWanderer0 contributionsA well executed tourI had limited time to do a tour of all 7 UNESCO World Heritage flights due to the late arrival of my flight in Kathmandu. The guide and driver did an excellent job on a tight timeline. In particular, the guide provided thorough explanations of the cultural significance of the sites and the societal meaning of the activities that occur there...in 6 hours!Written 23 March 2025
- FrequentFlier2839350 contributionsAdaptable hike with incredible viewsWe did a second tour with Raj during our time in Kathmandu. He helped us adjust the schedule to meet the needs of our family and regularly shared interesting tidbits so we could appreciate what we saw. Thanks again!Written 18 March 2025
- tommyj8840 contributionsExcellent hike with Himalayan viewsSubash was a brilliant guide from start to finish, and he gave very good explanations of the areas we hiked through in excellent English. The views of the Himalayas at sunrise were amazing, and it was fascinating to walk through local villages, see the valleys and explore the Hindu temple at changu Narayan at the end. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get a glimpse of the Himalayas, rural life and Nepali culture.Written 18 March 2025
- matthewpQ89MX0 contributionsWonderful knowledge gainMy tour guide (Bidhya) was extraordinarily informative, especially given the many questions I asked everywhere we went. Wonderful day, and I will be back with my family and will book a similar tour with her. Thank you!Written 17 March 2025

- Pioneer586158015880 contributionsThank you to Incredible TeamAfter dreaming for so long about trekking in the Nepal Himalayas, we finally made it! Exploring the Annapurna region was everything I had hoped for and more. The panoramic views of the mountains were absolutely breathtaking—no words can truly capture the beauty of standing there, surrounded by those towering peaks. I just want to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to the incredible team that made this journey so special. Our driver, Ravi, was amazing—navigating those tricky mountain roads with so much skill and keeping us safe and comfortable the entire way. Our guide, Ramesh, was not just knowledgeable but also super supportive, always sharing interesting facts about the terrain, the culture, and the history, which made the trek even more meaningful. And then there’s Bharat—our main lead—whose leadership, encouragement, and dedication kept us going, making sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. Honestly, without their support, patience, and expertise, this trip wouldn’t have been the same. You guys made this adventure unforgettable, and I truly appreciate every bit of effort you put in. Can’t wait to come back in October for that heli tour—it’s going to be another epic experience! See you soon!Written 14 March 2025
- jeanner5620 contributionsPrivate Guide is the way to goThe guide, Kumar and driver were prompt and on time. Kumar, the guide explained about things on the way to the UNESCO cites. Kumar knowledge of the UNESCO cites and took time to point out may details at each cite. We spent a lot of time at each cite, I learned so much about the customs and the heritage. Kumar's was an English speaking guide which I could easily understand. The drive was so skilled always putting safety first.Written 14 March 2025
- sonimadhu0 contributionsBitter experienceWe were picked up on time from the hotel. Tour guide was ok. At one temple he took us through cremation area where dead bodies were being cremated. This was undesirable At another point he made us walk more than a kilometre where the car could have dropped us. At the end of our trip we forgot one of our bags containing our raincoats and caps in the car. Next morning we enquired about our bag from the guide and the tour operator . They refused to acknowledge. We lost our bag. This was a very bad experience. One can not trust this tour operator.Written 13 March 2025
- Sunrise74240 contributionsExcellent Tour to 4 UNESCO World Heritage SitesOur guide, Prazant, is very knowledgeable and did an excellent job introducing us to Nepal’s culture and explaining the Hindu religion and Buda sites. We finished the tour in 5 hours and it included a drink or lunch/shopping stop at Boudha Stupa. The 4 UNESCO sites we visited were Swayambhu (Monkey) Temple; Patan Durbar Square; Pashupatinath Temple (most holy Hindu shrine for pilgrimage); and Boudha Stupa. Also, we saw a cremation with a military salute at Pashupatinath Temple. We were in Nepal on the day of the Holi Festival and just observed Holi paint throwing instead of participating in the fun! Our driver, Shyam, was excellent and made us feel safe while driving. The car was very clean, cool, and comfortable. Bottled water was provided!Written 13 March 2025

- yagew20250 contributionsGood tour of KathmanduThis was a great half-day tour to see some of the main attractions in Kathmandu. Our guide was Subash. He was organized and timely and understanding of our needs. At every location he explained the history and gave us time to look around. He and the driver made driving around Kathmandu seem like an easy task, which it is not! I would highly recommend this tour.Written 10 March 2025
- 961jordanv0 contributionsUnforgettable & Educational Trip!We had a fun morning and afternoon with Dipesh. The tour was highly educational! We learned so much about Buddhism, Hinduism, and the history of Nepal. He was also kind enough to take pictures of our group at certain sites. We also were able to get a spectacular view during the lunch he planned.Written 9 March 2025
- Axelant0 contributionsBlue Ribbon Guide for All-Day TourWe paid so little for this 7 UNESCO sites all-day tour, that I wondered how it would go. We hit the jackpot with our guide Shankar. We're joining a 12-day tour company in two days, but they wouldn't cover nearly all of the sites that are important to see. Shankar looked at our itinerary and adjusted his itinerary accordingly. It meant that we were able to spend more time at the sites that we visited. Shankar met us at our hotel and we sat down to discuss each of the sites. He gave us a lot of background and wrote the notes all out on paper that we then got to keep for reference. The driver met us all in a comfortable car. It is so valuable to have a driver taking you everywhere and getting you to the right location. Kathmandu traffic is best handled by an experienced local. All of the sites are so interesting and Sankar is a font of knowlege, and a good photographer as well. He was always happy to take our photo. We stopped for lunch while Shankar also had a break. Before leaving the restaurant, we had another presentation about Nepali politics and changes through the years. Again, all was written down for us to keep! We also visited an artist workshop where we had the opportunity to buy mandala originals at an "almost free" price. While we were walking in the area, three weddings with marching bands came through. It was an auspicious day for weddings and lucky for us to witness. Shankar is very easy to understand and he is an amazing font of knowledge. He explains things so well and writes so legibly, I guessed correctly that he had once been a teacher. He and the driver are paid very little by the company (hence, the low cost for the tour), so please tip them well. Look at other similar tours to get an idea of an appropriate amount. Be prepared to pay all of the entry fees for the people in your party. BTW, BreakFree is a very responsive company. We were ready to go on the day before. We waited to be picked up and after 30 minutes, I messaged them via WhatsApp. They actually called me to say that we were scheduled to go the next day but we could still go on the same day if we were willing to wait while they arranged for a guide. It was our mixup and we were fine sticking to the original day. But the immediate contact was amazing! If you go, I hope that Shankar is your guide!Written 7 March 2025

5 out of 5, but realistically, Deepak deserves a 10. Not only was he nice and full of knowledge about the tour and Nepalese history and culture, but he was a wealth of knowledge in numerous subjects, including Greek mythology and animals. I was amazed by his knowledge in which it made 4 hours of walking enjoyable. Every time i asked a question, he knew the answers with great detail. The tour was absolutely beautiful from start to finish and the Himalayas are devine. I thoroughly enjoyed this last-minute choice of tour and will be recommending it to everyone back in Australia.

A five star tour with an excellent and professional tour guide Mukesh. Not only he is well versed about the tour but goes extra mile to make sure that we don't miss any possible opportunity to see the best of what Nepal has to offer.

How can you see both a sunrise and a sunset from same spot? Is the view 360?
