Easy, safe, and lots of options
Had a great trip! During my stay at Hotel Nepal Bhumi I booked one trip with High Points, a return bus ticket from Kathmandu to Pokhara with accomodation at the destination. Everything was easily arranged, and there were lots of other activities to choose from - a good option for both the casual adventure-seekers and the hardcore mountaineers. Value for money was good. Uttam and the other staff are very kind and will go out of their way to help you if there is a problem! Please note that the road from KTM to PK is very long and unmade in sections, so allow extra time if you choose this route.

    such a pleasant experience
Great experiece! We wanted to do Manaslu circuit and we had checked a few tour agencies in Kathmandu. We stumbled upon Nepal Highpoint Trekking while walking around Thamel and were kindly welcomed by the owner. He explained everything to us in detail and offered a fair price. We followed our intuition and chose him to organize our trek. Uttam found an amazing guide for us and the whole experience was fantastic. I highly recommend his services!

Nagarkot and Changu Narayan Hiking Tour from Kathmandu
Great tour. Krishna was very kind, knowledgeable and talkative and I felt safe with our driver. The views from the hike were exceptional and the length was just right. I would recommend this tour for people that don't have several days to devote to trekking but want to see the countryside.

    Great service!
We used this agency to make flight bookings during uncertain Covid times. The owner, Uttam, is knowledgeable, informative and did his very best to get us good deals. He was very helpful at all times. Would definitely recommend.

A brilliant trek with Krishna and driver
Prompt start from our hotel at 8am. The driver expertly negotiated us through the traffic to Nagarkot. We were fantastically lucky because the sky was bright blue and we began to see stunning views of the Himalayas as we drove up the hills out of the valley. Next was the observation tower where we got almost uninterrupted views of the mountain range. It was absolutely fabulous that morning. The hike took us through some small typical villages and we met many local smiley people on the way. Most of the journey was downhill with only a small proportion climbing upwards. The hike was about 4 hours. At the end we visited the temple at Changunarayan having stopped for lunch of momos part way. Krishna was a very knowledgable guide and was able to answer all our questions. He knew all about the Himalayas, about the local history, countryside, local way of life and all about the temple we visited. A very pleasant day out and Krishna had a good sense of humour and he made the day come alive.

    Day hike with Krishna
Beautiful!! Krishna took amazing care of us and was so friendly, knowledgeable and very funny! The tour included a delicious lunch with a lovely view of Kathmandu Valley after meandering down through the gorgeous rural hillsides. The Changu Narayan temple at the end was breathtaking, even with the post earthquake construction. And walking through the town to get there was delightful and we couldnt help but buy some nice gifts for our friends there.

    Excellent Day Hike
Do yourself a favor and get out of Kathmandu for the day and enjoy hiking through quaint villages, seeing beautiful vistas, and breathing clean air. Our guide, Krishna, answered all our many questions about Nepal, and he did a great job of tailoring the hike to our needs. We enjoyed the tasty traditional Nepal food at our lunch stop as well as talking to the other trekkers who were there from all over the world. Path is very rocky at times so good hiking boots are needed. Difficulty is moderate.

Great tour that packed so much into our limited time. Rafting was great way to break the journey from Kathmandu to Chitwan - our 12 year old son loved it. Chitwan was amazing - accommodation was clean and tidy with great food and the safaris were well organized. We were very fortunate to see plenty of wildlife including rhinos, crocodiles and monkeys. Finally, we ended our trip with a trek to Poon Hill with the resulting sore legs to prove it. Our great young guide Krishna took good care of us.

Had a great day whitewater rafting, though the bus ride was a little bumpy. The instrors were fun and knew their stuff. The view from the river was beautiful and the water was a little faster than usual when we went so the rapid sections were especially exhilarating. Would recommend

Had a fantastic day and an amazing tour guide! This was for sure the highlight of my trip as I only had a few days in Kathmandu. Be ready for a 4-5hour trip with crazy nepalese traffic but it was all worth it. Most use this tour as a pit stop either to or from Kathmandu and Pokhara with having the option of staying at the site if you want to stay overnight. It was great fun and team building with a fantastic view.

That's pretty much it. I tried to call the one number but no response. I believe I put the name of the hostel on the website when I bought the ticket.

I did the white water rafting in January. I was afraid the water was too cold, but don't worry if the sun is shining it will dry you up soon. You would get wet a bit. I brought with me waterproof pants which I bought cheaply in Kathmandu the day before, but think you will be fine with some shorts too.

The rafting experience is fun and really is teamwork - other members I met on the site. I was put on a bus in Kathmandu to Pokhara and the driver stopped at some point along the way. On my way back the guide stopped one of the local buses to Kathmandu which drive frequently passing the Rafting premises. I eventually got out at one of the locations close to my Hotel. Things felt ad-hoc but in a good way, altogether An unexpected fun experience

Easy transportation by tourist bus with comfortable spacious seats. Funny instructors! Delicious nepali food included!

The raft is for really really beginners or kids. The level is to low. And the flood was almost at its highest level and speed, so I don't recommend it for someone who want a rush. I loved the company but not the raft.

It's my second time. The first time in Spain was more advanced.

The trip was advertised as 3hr bus ride each way from Kathmandu and 4 hours rafting. The reality is 11hrs on a dangerous severely over crowded local bus with no aircon and 1hr rafting we were picked up at 6am and returned at 10.30pm 14 1/2 hours for 1 hr in the water only lunch is provided so you will be starving by the end of the day.The rafting company were fine they looked after us well we had a fun time but the standing around waiting in the heat becomes hard to bare after the first hour.if you are travelling from Kathmandu to Pokhara then do the rafting but if you are based in either city don’t as the travelling time is very long hot and crowded as well as dangerous

I had a great time rafting and with the people I met on the bus. An Israeli, Italian, Chinese, and american made the trip feel more like a journey. Long bus ride (3,4,5 hours) through the mountains with a lot of sharp breaking and beeping which was exciting. Rafting was tough but beautiful, and worth it.
