Excellent guide and once-in-a-lifetime trip
Feb 2019
We had the most amazing trip with Raj as a guide. The company took care of everything, from hotel pickup to excursions, such as a sight-seeing flight to Everest. We were in good hands, and felt safe the whole time.

Amazing Experience!
Nov 2019 • Solo
I did the ABC Trek and I'm very thankful that I did this with Outfitter! First of all Raj and Arjun. Communication from the beginning of the booking until the end of the Trek was brilliant. They did everything to make you feel comfortable all the time.
Especially I want to thank my Guide and Porter Kiran Basnet who did an incredible job. Although he is a young Guide I felt safe and secure with him because of taking care of me through the whole trek. He is not only a professional in being a guide also in being a teacher of the Nepalese culture and landscape. Very openminded!

It was an amazing experience and I have already booked the next trek for 2020 - certainly with Outfitter and Kiran.

ABC trek - wonderful views & amazing team
Oct 2019
My friends and I did the Annapurna Base Camp trek and can only recommend the Outfitter Nepal team.
The trek in itself was amazing, with stunning landscapes and views everyday, and we all made it to the base camp. The organisation was perfect and our guide Suman and the team of porters (Roshan, Kiran and Ganesh) were such an amazing team to complete the trek with - we miss them all already! Each of them went above & beyond to make our experience memorable. We have left Nepal with only one desire: come back in the near future!

2 Week Annapurna Base Camp
May 2019 • Friends
We did the two week trip to Annapurna base camp starting May 14th.

The trip was fantastic.

The scenery, people and food were all amazing. The trek starts more in the baskets with lots of greenery and forests, then as you trek through and closer to the high peaks it becomes more rocky and spectacular. Highlight is of course the day you arrive at the base camps. The tea houses are comfortable and cute with beautiful views.

Going in May meant that it was quieter than peak which was great. We got very good weather for the time of year. It would be blue skies in the morning and early afternoon, with rain then in the afternoons.

We were a group of early thirties so the trekking itself was fine. It is tiring though. By day 9 you'll wish you'll never see another step again.

Buy a walking pole/stick when you get to Kathmandu. Your will thank yourself later! You can find them everywhere just by walking around Thamel. We paid 400 rupees for one.

Nepal Outfitter were always very responsive over email, answering any questions that we had before we arrived. Even at short notice they helped provide us with two extra duffle bags when we were in Kathmandu.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu they were very organised with the pickup and the hotel. They have a good relationship with the hotel we stayed in (Samsara) so you always feel well looked after.

Our Guide for the trip was Hom, who was great. He has a huge amount of experience in the mountains, so we felt safe with him the entire way. We didn't suffer from altitude sickness as Hom ensured we go up at a good pace. As we were a small group so he was flexible with the itinerary. He was very friendly and had great knowledge of the area, culture, customs, flowers, plants, and animals. Our porters were young locals Kiran and Rajan. They were always friendly and helpful along the way. By the end of the trip we were all playing cards together.

Highly recommend the trip with Outfitter.

We did the 8 days ABC Trek with Rabi. Everything was really well organised from arriving through to leaving Kathmandu. The scenery on the trek really is amazing. Rabi really looked after us, always making sure we were having a good time and did not need anything. It was a great week!

Short Version: Just book with Outfitter Nepal. They exceeded all expectations - affordable, professional and knowledgable. When booking, ask for Dinnesh to be your guide. He was amazing!

Full Review:

I initially was looking to do the Everest Base Camp Trek and reached out to Outfitter Nepal for pricing and more information. I received a response in less than a day with all the information I'd need to book. My follow up emails received prompt responses as well.

I stayed at Hotel Moonlight and Hotel Jamba - before and after my trek and both were fantastic. One of the owners met me the the night before my trek to go over the itinerary and plan. Unfortunately, my flight into Nepal was delayed and my flight to Lukla ended up being canceled, so I lost my extra days to account for the possible Lukla flight delays/cancelations for my return. I made the decision to do Annapurna Base Camp Trek instead of Everest as I did not wish to risk missing my international flight home if my flight back from Lukla was canceled/delayed. Outfitter was able to easily accommodate this and was able to start my trek that day.

My guide Dinnesh was fantastic and was going above and beyond to make sure I was happy and enjoying my trek. He was knowledgable and provided information on every place we visited. Safety was a high priority and he advised appropriately when necessary. A guide can really make or break a trip, so i was happy that i had someone who made me feel like i was hanging out with a friend for weeks. My porter was professional and great at his job.

At the end of my trek, one of the owners took me out to dinner as well. This was unexpected and goes to show how Outfitter Nepal will go above and beyond for their clients.

Nepal is an incredible country and I'm excited to revisit in the future! I'll be sure to go with Outfitter Nepal for my next trek there.

Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp from a starting point in Pokhara via Duerili, Bamboo, Choorong, MBC was the best life experience so far. I would return without hesitation. The sights, sounds, smells and people was just amazing. I would recommend this once in a lifetime experience.

I booked a 14 day trip to ABC with Outfitters. All questions regarding this journey were dealt with by Arjun in a clear manner. Everything was well organised. Our guide Suraj was very patient, helpful & knowledgeable. Rajendra & Rajkumar (these guys aren't porters - they're supermen), they carried our heavy bags on our 9 day trek with a smile on their faces all the way. The walkers (myself, Elise, Flora & Jacs) jelled from day one on this amazing holiday. Together we all became Team ABC. Highly recommended.
