Great trek in a short time
Went for 4 days Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, my guide was Season. I asked to join just 3 days in advance and they arranged the trip well. My guide shared his knowledge and experiences on trekking, so as life in Nepal. And most important was - I was too careless leave my personal belongings in one of Guesthouse on the mountain, he tried his best to call everyone so that I get it back on the next day in Pokhara. Thank you so much and really appreciated that. So as the guesthouse was honest & trustable! And for the trek itself, It's a rather easy trek. But for people who has limited travel days or just like me want to see how trekking in Nepal looks like, it's a good start. Trekking thro nature, rice Terrance, villages, forest in mountain && We were so fortune to see golden sunrise on the Annapurna range during on top of Poon Hill, it's surely the highlight of this trek :)

Trek & Yoga combination for Mardi Himal.
Fantastic trek. Great Yoga teachings. This company really gave an attention to every detail, need, and level to make this a great experience for me. Along the trek my guide was open to modifications to make me wake up in great places and have maximum energy for going to mardi Himal base camp…. Where we had a yoga session after sunrise and we were alone in this beautiful space. Everything was great and this organiser have experience. I will definitely book with them again. However I will be a little more demanding in what hotel to stay at in Pokhara, now that I have understood that if hotels don’t treat monthly against cockroaches, there will be a problem for that. That is the point that can be better. For the rest of… amazing attention, teachings, and trek ! And the food at the tea houses are fantastic and fresh. ! I will come back to discover more.

          ABC trek
I had a great time with Himalayan Recreation Nepal. The prices were reasonable and the guide (Varat) and his team were helpful to support me to finish the ABC trek successfully. Afterward, the guide took me around Kathmandu, explaining Nepal's history and culture. I recommend this company for its good prices, friendly staff, and cultural insights.

          Great Tour
I went on this trip with my mom and I. While it was a cloudy morning our tour guide, Krishna Acharya, made us have a really good time. He is very kind and knowledgeable. The drive is peaceful and so beautiful even if it’s a cloudy morning. The rainforests are lush and the Bhaktapur is a one of a kind experience. You can connect with culture and see the beauty that is Nepal.

          Amazing Khopra Danda trek
We did the 9 day Khopra Danda trek with guide Narayan and Rajan and it was amazing! Very challenging but rewarding hike. We went in January which was the off season which meant that some parts of the trail were hard to find and a couple of the lunch spots were not open but this was not a big problem. Our guide Narayan and Rajan were incredible and supported us and made us feel safe throughout the trip. Would really recommend this trip for hikers looking for a quieter walk away from the busier tourist trips.

          Great experience if planned properly
Great hike, but could be better. It was a 5 day hike so there was one day when I descended a huge distance on very steep stone steps. Very hard on the muscles. I would make it 6 days and descend an easier route. And then add on a trip to base camp - I just went to the viewing platform. Also, a lot of hiking was in the woods, which got a bit boring - I prefer the open.

          Amazing view and amazing guide
The view at Mardi Himal was unforgettable, also I had an amazing and comfortable time doing my first ever serious trek thanks to my guide Sim - without him helping ease me into the mountain life, getting leeches off me, and making sure my time there was pleasurable, I probably would not have enjoyed my time as much as I did!

Great experience as a solo female
Great way to see Chitwan! As a female solo traveler in a foreign country it can be difficult to get to places outside of cities, but this worked out very well. The Royal Tiger hotel was nice and the staff was amazing, even helping me choose the less spicy foods haha. The only reason you may not like this is because of the bad road or if your excursions are with other tourists, but that would just mean Chitwan is not for you. If you want to see the park (and many rhinos!) this is a great option.

This was a trip of the lifetime! We lucked out in completing this Everest Base Camp (EBC) trip in the first week of June, 2023, usually when the monsoon breaks. Most of the days it was perfect hiking weather. Himalayan Recreation tailored this trip to suit the requirements of our family. We had some time constraints, therefore once after reaching the EBC, we took a helicopter ride down to Kathmandu from Gorekshep (~5200 meters) It was an adventure trip for our family of 4 and it was a private tour. I am very pleased with the service provided by Bishnu Thapa of the Himalyan Recreation and the guide, Raj who has over a decade of experience in Organizing such trips. Raj took good care of us by ensuring that we eat, sleep and keep up with the high altitude challenges. In addition, Raj kept us motivated to keep on going on this 7 days of 60-70 KM hiking trail.

Our family decided to go on this EBC hike in Dec 2022 and then we kept in touch with Bishnu Thapa who professionally guided us to prepare for this trip by sending his prompt replies and occasional video calls. The staff at the Himalyan Recreation, I found them extremely courteous. I was impressed by the fact that once we arrived in Kathmandu, they made us feel comfortable and I found them so very eager to make our trip a success. And we made it! As the altitude increased, thin air and steep hikes, sometimes landslides, bad weather for helicopter landing presented some excitements but I can assure that Himalyan Recreations team handled the situations very professionally to keep us safe.

I would highly recommend Himalyan Recreations for any of your bucket listed Himalyan (high altitude) Hikes in Nepal or other places. I wish Himalyan Recreations the best!

I just wanted to thank you all at Himalayan Recreation Trekking for a fantastic experience. My son and I have just returned home recently from a group trek to Everest Base Camp, from September 30 to October 13, 2019, with your wonderful guide Raj. Your company looked after all of our needs brilliantly, including accommodation at Hotel Nepalaya, a great trek to base camp, a fascinating tour of Kathmandu and a very enjoyable cultural dinner and show to finish off our time in Nepal.

Our guide Raj did an excellent job of helping us along every step of the way. He was so helpful in making sure that we got our flights to Lukla, including the bus trip to Ramechhap. He looked after us at all times, ensuring that we were safe and well and able to fully enjoy the experience. Raj is a great asset to your company. He was great. The porters also did a great job in helping us with all of our gear. We appreciate everything that they did for us.

We will definitely recommend Himalayan Recreation Trekking to our friends and maybe one day visit your wonderful country of Nepal again with your help!

Our trip was supposed to go EBC and Gokyo Lake through Cho La Pass. Due to the bad weather for a few days, there were no flights to Lukla, we departed from Kathmandu by off-road car and then start to trek from Kharikhola to EBC. Our group faced many issues (rainy, snowy, cloudy, delayed flight). Luckily we have Raju - an excellent tour guide. He always thinks about the solution for many scenarios and gives us updated information every day. We feel safe when accompanying Raju and porters. We were very appreciative when Raju woke up early every morning to check the Mt. Everest view and then call us to see the view if not cloudy. For days to EBC we could not see Mt. Everest due to fog and cloudy. We were like brothers, and family, sang songs, danced together, enjoying so much fun. He also tells me many interesting things about Nepali life and culture. Good to know new friend Raju.

Highly recommend the Himalayan Recreation tour and the best Guider Raju Simkhada

From the moment we landed in Kathmandu and met Narayan who was there to receive us, we knew we were in good hands. We had been in touch with Bishnu of Himalayan Recreation for months before our trek and he was able to guide us well even before we reached Nepal. Narayan was there every step of the way to EBC and back and he became a close confidant as well as a great friend for us. I would give 10/10 for the exemplary service provided to us and would wholeheartedly recommend this company and guide Narayan to anyone who wants to visit EBC.

Had the best time on this adventure. We did the 10 day Base Camp trip. The whole experience was awesome from the moment we were picked up at the airport until they dropped us off again. The staff were fantastic and looked after our every need. Our guide Varat was AWESOME, such a great guy and really went out of his way to make sure we were happy. At the end of the trip, the company took us out to dinner wth a show, this was a really nice way to end the trip. I really recommend this company if you are planning on going to Nepal, could not fault anything. I loved every minute of it and hope to return for another trip and will definitely go with this company again. Thanks for everything, I will never forget it.

I chose a cheap ticket without research and found it was monsoon season. This meant quiet tracks, empty villages and having to eat just food that could grown locally (vegetarian). The plane out of Lukla was delayed by 4 days due to bad weather. However, on arrival I was able to discuss my needs with company and they were extremely helpful in dealing with my questions and helping me plan my tour. I was allocated a guide - Subas, who was excellent. He was professional - always on time/schedule and setting expectations. very organised with the taxi, flights, hostels and any admin. very knowledgeable about the route, timings and prices. he was Polite, friendly and talkative but also allowed me time for reflection. Subas provided Guiding, porting and occasionally waiter and cook.. amazing. He was also flexible to imposed or requested changes to schedule and impacts - excellent. He should be the 'blueprint' on which all guides aspire.

It's hard to describe the experience of the 11-day trip in just a few words but I had such a memorable trip and was very glad to have a companion like Subash. He was thoughtful, experienced and more importantly, patient and encouraging when times were challenging.

Grateful this happened and looking forward to my 2nd time to Nepal.

At first, my journey faced hiccups as bad weather condition the flight couldn't take off, 3 days delays, we decided to switch plan to jeep off-road experience. Rainy, slippery, waterfall edges, landslides, all lead to the challenging but most excited journey. Believe me this lifetime adventure was awesome.

After all, the nature served us with the most breathtaking view of snowy mountain, vast valley and gorgeous landscape. Word couldn't be enough to express how much we appreciated the local guide (Raju Sim Khada) and porter team who did unconditionally assist our group throughout every steps.

This was the best trip ever to all of us. Highly recommend anyone to go and enjoy every breath with nature alongside.

Note: recommend to reserve tour directly with Himalayan Recreation to have the best services.

Bharat ever conscious guide kept me informed of each days activities including time and space. His knowledge each location was outstanding and would explain my questions in great detail. He also advised me of any difficulties we were about to encounter. The lodges he chose for me were exceptional. This is the second time Bharat has been my guide and he gets 10 out of ten. A very good and caring person.

Himalayan Recreation is an excellent company to go with. From pick up from the airport, accommodation, guides, food, overall experience and back to the airport, we were looked after the whole time. Our guide Narayan, was an absolute legend who gave us information throughout the trek and allowed us to experience part of the Nepalese culture. Highly recommend going with Himalayan Recreation!!
