We had a great 14-day trek around the Manaslu circuit. It was a truly wonderful experience. Bimal was very efficient, professional and fair in organising the trip to suit our needs, our timeline and our budget. He went above and beyond to help us - from providing trekking poles, organising sleeping bag rental, transferring luggage to Pokhara after the trek, and more! I honestly can’t thank Bimal enough! Our guide Ramu was excellent and we felt safe under his guidance the whole time. With so many trekking companies in Kathmandu, it can be a daunting and exhausting experience to find the right one. Bimal runs a great trek. We had initially planned a 5 day trip in and around Lower Mustang, visiting local temples and experiencing the local culture in an in depth way. However, as we walked on the first day, we had a change of heart and did a much longer and more challenging trek, and Bimal spent time going through options to make the most of the days we had. We ended up doing two quite major treks (Marpha to Muktinath via Lupra; Tatopani to Ghorepani Poon Hill and down) over the course of these 5 days, with a rest day at the hot springs at Tatopani in between. Bimal's in depth knowledge and understanding of the local area helped make this an informative experience, and his great company allowed me to feel comfortable and settled from the first time we met. I cannot recommend Trek Around Himalayas enough. If you've never been trekking, these guys are for you!

If you've stumbled upon this trekking agency, you've found a fantastic one. Last week, my friends and I (3 people) successfully completed a trek to Everest Base Camp via Gokyo and the Cho La Pass- we could not have done it without Trek Around Himalayas help. This company took the guess work out of trekking in Nepal, sorting out trekking permits, domestic aeroplane tickets, and insurance for our guide. Trek Around Himalayas provided us with DB Rai- an extremely component guide who was not only very knowledgeable of the Everest region, but very aware of the symptoms of altitude sickness and other morbidities that arise as a result of trekking for extended periods of time at altitude. We always felt incredibly safe with him. If you're unsure of what agency to choose for your trek around Nepal, I would urge you to seriously consider Trek Around Himalayas. They kept in constant communication with my party for months in the lead up to our trip which gave us the peace of mind needed to undertake a trek that could have otherwise been a logistical nightmare. I would like to thank Bimal for offering my friends and I such a fun yet safe and affordable trek! We appreciated all you did in order for us to accomplish our dream of trekking to Everest Base Camp.

I can’t recommend this company highly enough. Bimal provided us with EXCELLENT service. He is a good man! We did EBC via Gokyo and Chola Pass. We had DB as our tour guide who was honestly so great. DB was extremely experienced and on the ball with everything. Me and my two mates absolutely loved the whole experience. 5 stars - 10/10 - 100% 😁

This was me and my boyfriends first time trekking ever! We’re so happy and lucky we got the best help and also the beeest guide who knew so much about the nature around us and also helped us with everything we needed. The view were obviously magical! Bimal was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about all things trekking! He was a fantastic resource especially for someone starting out in the Kathmandu area, as it can be hard to coordinate travel to Pokhara from the city without previous knowledge of Nepal. This guide group is super friendly and easy to work with; I would absolutely recommend them, especially to those who are starting out with trekking.

We had such a wonderful time during our trekking thanks to Bimal from Trek Around Himalayas 🙏 we already know him since five years and do always come back to his guesthouse in Thamel, Kathmandu when we visit Nepal. It almost feels like home for us. Bimal organized everything perfect, always met our needs on the way, explained a lot about nature and wildlife, Nepali and Tibetan culture, taught us Nepali and typical Nepali card game Dhumble ☺️ we enjoyed the trek with him totally. We can recommend the Manaslu Circuit Trek. There are so many amazing views of the mountain scenery, it is not (yet) that crowded but has already a good teahouse infrastructure so that you do not need to self-care on the way. This was my first but definetly not last time in Nepal. We went for Manaslu trek + Tsum Valley to make it more interesting. It was SO AMAZING. 😍 Thanks to Bimal and our amazing guides and porters it was the best experience. Everything was well organized and proffesional but also friendly. We learned more about local culture and in the evenings we played nepali card game together with cup of tea (or raksi). Himalayas are so beautiful that its not enough to visit one time!!! I could say thousand words of how amazing it was but I belive you need to experience that because its not possible put this wonderfull exeprience into words. I highly reccomend to everyone to visit nepal and himalayas. 💙 You will never regret it. And I can say that Bimal was the best host and companion in our trek. Annapurna circuit it's for sure a beautiful trek to do in Nepal ,but with Bimal and his treks'team it has been an unforgettable experience .They made me feel like at home and helped me out for any issue ,very professional and friendly ,with a really fair price .with them you will be in good hands ,and you will experience for real what is Nepal and Nepali culture ,very rich and colorful ,more than just hiking in an amazing place .so I'm sure in the future I will choose again this company ,that now they are also my best friends in there ! so I'm looking forward for the next trek with them ,probably Langtang . thanks from the heart Bimal .Namaste

We did Tsum Valley and Manaslu trek. It was really amazing trek with very friendly guides and porters who made our trek on of the most wonderful experience that I've ever had. Bimal helped us to arrange everything. He went with us and help us with everything that we faced. All accomodations were above my expectations and food was also good. I really looking for to return to Nepal and go with Bimal to another trek that I suppose will be agian amazing.

We (group of 3) visited Nepal in late December 2019. Luckily we met Mr. Bimal at his office Trek Around Himalayas in Kathmandu. He organized everything so meticulously for us that we didn't think anything extra. We visited Pokhara, Chitwan and Lumbini, The birth place of Lord Buddha. experience was 5 star. All accommodation, food, spots we visited were as as planned without any hassle. The cost was extremely reasonable , I must say.
