We had a fantastic bucket list holiday in Nepal thanks to the dedicated team at Himalayan Circuit and TravelLocal. From landing in Kathmandu, we were met by Prakash and given a traditional welcome before being taken to our hotel. The next morning he picked us up to meet the Flight to see Everest, which was amazing. Then we were shown the sights and sounds of Kathmandu by Subodh who took us to places we wouldn’t have dreamed of seeing. After an interesting coach ride to Chitwan, we were met by Christa who took care of us on the Elephant Safari and Canoe Ride, both of which were amazing. We then travelled to Pokhara and was met by Sanu our trekking guide who advised us on kit to take on the trek. Whilst on the trek Sanu made sure we got the best out of the route and made us feel welcome in every village and Tea house we stayed at. Not forgetting the lovely Manisha our porter who carried our extra kit along the trek. The trek was out of this world and gave a real taste of the Nepalese way of life in the rural communities and what amazing views of the iconic western Himalayan snow covered peaks. Sanu also showed us some of the amazing places in Pokhara including the Mountain Museum and Tibetan Refugee centre and he also made the arrangements for the paragliding. On return to Kathmandu, we were taken to even more interesting places by Subodh to round off the trip. To top it off before flying home, Anish invited us to dinner at the office where we had traditional Nepalese food and allowed us to rest before heading to the airport.

 Nepal has left us both in awe of the beauty, culture, and friendly people in this amazing country and cannot wait to go back. A great big thank you to the amazing team at Himalayan Circuit.

Our tour was planned by Anish and he was very helpful. My friend has a disability and he did what he could to make it accessible. We had a private tour the entire time - the same drive from town to town and a companion for my friend and he was able to actually carry her on his back in areas that it was difficult for her to walk - he is also a Sherpa for the trekking,. They were the best addition to our days not only helpful but fun to have around. We had a problem with the plane leaving Chicago but were able to rebook and then Anish adjusted our trip and it was all arranged with the changes when we arrived as we came in a day later. Highly recommend Anish and his crew Pravien driver and Debendra the companion - all the tours have been great and arranged for us ahead of time and included in the price. We just needed to tip the Individual tour guides and of course our driver and companion. Amazing country.

Awesome experience. HCT planned a great trip for us, taking care of the small details and making sure everyone was looked after. I've been to Nepal 5 times and Anis and the team from Himalayan Circuit Trek has been involved in every holiday I've had there. Once again it was well planned and a great experience. From airport pickups, to the great people that guided us from village to village, to the good places we stayed, we were well looked after at each step. Thanks again!

We have travelled to over 100 countries, but we had limited time and wanted to do quite a lot in Nepal! Anish helped our family of four (two ten year olds) to explore Kathmandu, climb Goyko Ri and visit Bardiya National Park. Working with him was effortless and regardless of the time zone, I received efficient responses and advice to reconsider decisions I had made…this made me choose his company. On arrival, they threw an amazing surprise for my daughters 10th birthday… one we won’t forget! We had the most phenomenal two week trip in Nepal thanks to Anish and his team. Our local guide, Subodh Kharel, was also great and kept our kids interested in history, politics and culture of Nepal! The drivers were excellent and great care was taken to ensure our trip was as comfortable as possible within our budget. Our trekking guide Teluk, was PHENOMENAL! He really understood our needs and challenges. He managed us, looked after the kids, checked our oxygen levels each day and night (I didn’t see any other group doing this)and without him, it’s highly questionable we would of made it to the top of Goyko Ri (5400m). Certainly way more capable trekkers along the route, had to be airlifted out with AMS. Nepal is not an easy place to organise your own trip, especially if you are not flexible with time. Having Anish and his team able to organise alternate transport, helicopters, change flights etc was invaluable!

Amazing experience! With just a short 2 week time frame, Himalayan Circuit fit everything I was hoping to do and see into a perfect itinerary! I had an amazing cultural tour of Kathmandu, a perfect 3 day trek around Annapurna with some extra time in Pokhara, and a great Everest View trek to wrap up my stay. I would recommend Himalayan Circuit to anyone looking to visit Nepal, I could not have planned the trip better myself. Our initial enquiry was with Travel Local who put us in touch Anish - having ABTA and ATOL protection was reassuring. The trip Anish and the team at Himalayan Circuit arranged for us exceeded all our expectations. Communication prior to the trip was prompt, questions answered and the itinerary made to our specifications. From the moment we were greeted at the airport to our departure three weeks later everything went smoothly ( aside from some very bumpy roads!) All our guides and drivers were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We visited Kathmandu, Chitwan National Park, Lumbini, Sarangkot, Pokhara, Bhaktapur and Nagarkot. Nepal has so much to offer it is no wonder everyone took a real pride in sharing it with us. Cannot recommend this company highly enough.

I had an absolutely amazing time !!! I strongly recommend you to choose this company. My journey was 25 days including Annapurna circuit & a few days in Kathmandu & Pakala. They customize an itinerary based on my request. They included items all I wanted to visit & do ! It was my first trekking ever in my life, and I went there solo. I was very nervous however Anish and the team took care of me during my trekking journey. They texted me almost everyday to see if I am trekking ok, not injured, not getting any altitude sickness, my guide is taking care of me or not etc. Their hospitality and the service were incredible. There are so many agencies for trekking however I believe your experience will be completely different if you did not have a great agency support as well as the great trekking guide. My trekking guide Bijaya was very professional, he knows about the mountains and weather a lot by his past 25 years experience, he choose the best route for a day based on those facts as well as my body condition everyday. I could not trek well without him. My guide also took care of my health a lot everyday, making sure I am hydrating well enough, eating well etc. He was buying local fruits, and served me everyday after the dinner and it was so sweet. I would like to go back there again for the trekking with my daughters sometime soon, and I will definitely choose them, and I also want to have the same trekking guide. My Annapurna circuit journey wasn't the same without my amazing agent & the trekking guide !!

I did a tour around Pokhara and Chitwan where I could see the Annapurna mountains and the wildlife of the national park. The guides and the hotels treated me very well.

We picked the Himalayan Circuit to guide us in our trek to the Annapurna Base Camp because of the flexibility Anish from HC offered in designing a trek route that worked for us. We aren’t experienced hikers and not the fittest so wanted to be free to go at our own pace and do some shorter days on the way up. We did better than expected on the trek and HC were super flexible allowing us to change mid route giving us an extra day in Pokhara. Sunil and Binod, we’re excellent in guiding and helping us and making the whole experience fun. We learnt a lot about life in Nepal from them which added to the richness of the experience. I really appreciated Sunil’s advice and checking our O2 levels. My husband did get mild altitude sickness at the top but we managed well and felt safe at all times. I recommend personalised trekking with HC as the perfect option and particularly if trekking is a new thing for you. Thanks to The team at HC we had a truly amazing experience.
