        Great travel company!
Swotah Travel and Adventure arranged our visit to Bhutan. Ajay and his team were really easy to work with as we planned and decided on our itinerary, and were fast at answering our questions. They were really efficient in arranging our Nepal and Bhutan visas, and the flights between Kathmandu and Paro. We really appreciated them arranging for us to be met and dropped off at the airports, no matter how early the flights were! Our guide and driver in Bhutan were wonderful and very knowledgeable, and we had a truly memorable time. I would recommend Swotah Travel and Adventure.

        Excellent trip
'The Best of Nepal and Bhutan'. Slight blip on arrival - guide was stuck in a jam and the number on the documentation had a typo. Guide was Sijal who was very good at coordinating things in Kathmandu and keeping me informed of arrangements. First full day around (Kathmandu) was good - visiting a few UNESCO sites eg temples; guide was good. Accommodation was more than adequate. I have reviewed the Pokhara leg of the trip including the trek separately. Then the flight to Bhutan. There was an issue with this - after discussions with Swotah Travel this should no longer occur. Bhutan is a lot less chaotic than Kathmandu. Met at the airport by guide Devin and driver Yeshi (from Bhutan Aries Tours and Treks). Both were excellent throughout providing simple and concise information. Accommodation and the food in Bhutan was excellent. Plenty of variance throughout the time in Bhutan including temples and forts. The last full day was a hike up to Tiger's Nest (requires a reasonable amount of fitness and the air was thinner than what people in the UK are used to) Overall, a wonderful fortnight.

        Everest Three High Passes Trek
I had an amazing experience travelling with Swotah for my Everest Three High Passes Trek. I would highly recommend them to everyone and will travel with them again. I researched many other companies, including larger international ones which I had travelled with previously but decided on Swotah. For me, after communicating with others I found Swotah extremely prompt and informative with their communication. When I arrived in Nepal, everything they had organised (money exchange, SIM card, crampons, copies of my documents) was ready and waiting for me. Swotah and it's employees will do everything to ensure your travel with them is amazing. Big shout out to Ajay and Sijal for this. When it came to the trekking Bijay was fabulous. The man who looked after everything, from informative inormation to being our waiter to teaching me Nepali card games and always ensuring you were doing ok. The trek itself was simply spectacular!!!! Unfortunately I only got to achieve one high pass and EBC, as I was helicoptered off the mountain due to altitude sickness. When a trip doesn't go as planned it highlights how much people care and what they will do. Swotah looked after me and made sure I was ok, liaised with my travel insurance, stayed with me to ensure I was picked up, checked up on me when I was admitted to hospital and assisted me to adjust remaining plans that I had actually booked separately. If you are checking reviews, going back and forth, I highly highly recommend traveling with Swotah. The team is amazing and will look after you so well because their care and dedication is authentic.

        Great Poon Hill Experience!
Had an amazing time on the Poon Hill trek, organized by Swotah Travel. My guide, Bijay Gurung, was the best: he was punctual, attentive, spoke very good English and was just fun to trek with. Bijay selected great guest houses - very comfortable, with hot showers and direct great views of Annapurna South (Night 1 in Ulleri) and Dhaulagiri (Night 2 in Ghorepani). He always made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed; you could tell he was very experienced. Highly recommend Swotah and Bijay!

        The Dal Bhat Team strikes!
Dear Ajay, Som and Mon, Please guys, take me back to Nepal! Traveling with you, traveling with Swath Travel and Adventure is simply addictive. I need more, I want more and I trust you guys with plenty of more of my dreams that you make come true. thank you for never stop believing in me; thank you for listening, taking care and ensuring comfort to the level one may expect in the regions in which and the heights at which I was. I could not have wished for anything more; although... we should never stop aiming for perfectionism. I most certainly won't :-). In your hands, I trust we reach perfectionism together. Thanks "Dal Bhat Team" we were winners!

Bhutan - experience the land of the thunder dragon
We were extremely well looked after by Swotah. They helped us shape the tour from the minute we were thinking of it and made sure they looked after us from beginning to end. The tour itself from the time we landed was excellent, the guiding was really informative and the driving excellent. This made the whole experience restful, interesting and a real delight. Many thanks Swotah

An Authentic and Unforgettable Experience on the Millennium Trek!
The Millennium Trek was absolutely extraordinary! While Annapurna or Mount Everest is packed with tourists, this trek is refreshingly different—you’ll only encounter locals who warmly welcome you. Often, they share fruits from their garden or invite you for a tea, making you feel right at home. Nepali people said to me that If I want to see the real Nepal, the countryside is the place, and this trek takes you straight to it. The trail is also full of adventure: jungle paths, terraced rice fields, rivers, bridges, and plenty of ups and downs. Along the way, you’ll discover hidden gems like the Millennium Cave with hundreds of bats—an unforgettable spot! You’ll also have the chance to meet local shamans and learn about their rituals. And to share dinner every day with another family at their home. And most importantly: the people you trek with! I had Rajkumar as my guide and Maila as my porter, and they were fantastic—knowledgeable, cheerful, and always ready for a chat or a laugh. They know the area inside out, and even introduced me to their families. It felt like being with family, just from another side of the world. Highly recommend this trek with them!

        Great three high passes trek
The trek was well structured (anti-clockwise) with the most difficult pass at the beginning. We had a great guide, Bijay. He was fun and always made sure that we were ok and set a good pace for the trek. He also adapted the plan based on our preferences. The tea houses and the food was good. They were really accommodating both when my flight was cancelled and when we wanted to complete the trek sooner as we had a fast pace. The trek was great and the views amazing. I would definitely recommend it!

Perfect trip to Nepal thanks to Swotah travel
My husband and I went on a 2 week trip to Nepal. When spoke to the wonderful Lesia we simply noted what are our desires and dreams and she along with Sijel and the entire team of Swotah travel lead by the wonderful AJ, tailor made the entire trip down to the very last detail with the ultimate guides, perfect homestay and exquisite sites. When we wanted to change something their availability was immediate throughout the entire trip. I specifically want to recommend the wonderful guide we had in Pokhara- Ram, which hiked with us 3 days and was incredibly professional and so very kind and helpful! Also Kumari from Panauti community homestay who was simply an angle and made us feel right at home. Bottom line- would recommend anyone to choose Swotah travel!!!

Lumbini Nepal: Enlightening visit to world heritage site Lumbini, birthplace of Buddha
Lumbini Nepal: I was so happy with SWOTAH's handling of the Annapurna circuit trek, that I asked Ajay to help with a trip to Lumbini, birthplace of Buddha. His team handled the travel and lodging details and connected me with an excellent guide that not only took me around the Lumbini world heritage site, but also spent another day visiting sites important to the life of Buddha and the history of Buddhism.

This review is for Pokhara leg of the trip. Left Kathmandu and travelled by 'tourist bus'. Took 10 hours in total - lots and lots of road construction work. Accommodation was the Heritage Suites - fabulous hotel, rooms beautifully furnished, staff friendly. Pokhara is nice. Next day was the start of a 4 day trek. Guide was Bijay and porter Sandji (hope names are spelt correctly) and they were excellent throughout. Reasonable amount of fitness required for the trek. Accommodation was as expected (do your research). Food was very good. Trek views were very good and spectacular at times. Returned to Pokhara and again stayed at the Heritage Suites. And again it was the tourist bus back to Kathmandu taking slightly longer
