About
The tour gives you a glimpse of the cultural life of people of Nepal in general. This is a great way to observe the spiritual practices of Nepal which are a blend of Hinduism, Buddhism and Tantrism. Walk through the medieval town designed with principles of Vastu Shastra (material science) architecture and visit the neighborhood of Ayurveda. Feel the 'Little Tibet in Kathmandu' as Boudhanath Stupa. Visit Pashupatinath and watch the Hindu 'Karma' and 'Bhakti' based lifestyles. Learn the philosophy behind cremation and the life after death. Visit Lalitpur (Patan), the city of fine art and discover the hidden monasteries including the 'Golden temple'. Know why it is called the oldest existing Buddhist city in the world. Learn the history of Gurkha and visit Kumari, the living goddess of Kathmandu. Walk through the colorful market of Ason back to your hotel. This is a very relaxed cultural tour of Kathmandu watching spiritual life of people.

We had been in Nepal for a week. Thanks to Rabi and iTourNepal for arranging vehicle and helping in planning tour itinerary. Special thanks for arranging tickets for Mardi Himal Helicopter ride and Mount Everest flight. Rabi was available whenever needed. It was a mesmerising Nepal trip.

Very nice and interesting tour with Rabi, who is a calm and very knowledged man. I can only recommend the tour to main places as well as to hidden places.

I spent 8 days in Kathmandu and Bhutan in January 2020. I organised my trip through itournepal. Rabi was so helpful and responsive during the planning stage. I was so excited to get there and to get going. My trip was beyond incredible - Rabi had listened and organised a trip that took in incredible sites but gave me plenty of time to wander and look for the authentic experiences you have by slowing down and interacting with people. Sarjan, my guide in Kathmandu was sensational. He was incredibly knowledgable and interesting. He was flexible which meant that we could change the itinerary and timing to ensure that I was able to linger longer at places. In Bhutan my guide Drukpa and driver Ram were the best. Drukpa again was very knowledgable and Ram such a good driver. They helped make the trek to Tigers Nest enjoyable - I am terrified of heights!! We had such a great time on our 4 day road trip - if you’re lucky Ram will even sing for you as you drive through the stunning Bhutanese countryside. One of the highlights of my whole trip was being invited to dinner with Rabi and his beautiful family. What a treat. I arrived in Kathmandu at the beginning of my trip on my own and left with amazing memories and new friends. I will definitely be returning to Nepal and will definitely use Rabi and his team again. If you want to discover the real Nepal use a local tour company, use itournepal.

We (group of 4 people) planned to go to Asia and two weeks before we found the opportunity to spend few days in Nepal. We had no idea how to spend time there. We sent email to Rabi from iTour Nepal. He replied immediately and answered all our questions and scheduled our tour that fit our visions. We really appreciate helping us with preparation and after we got to Nepal it even farther exceeded our imagination. Tour was perfectly adjusted to our needs and expectations. Rabi organized a short Himalaya trek and then make us visit fantastic historic places. All the time was supported by his great knowledge about the history and culture of the region. We spent fantastic days sightseeing historic places. Rabi is a very positive, knowledgeable and very friendly person. If you ever run into a possibility to visit Nepal do not hesitate contacting Rabi and make a use of his service.

Rabi is an absolute gem! From the begining he was quick to respond to my emails and customized our entire 8 day trip to Nepal. We are a family of 4, with 2 tween girls. Rabi kept our daughters well entertained, trekked at a comfortable pace for all of us and was always catering to our needs making sure we had everything we needed. We spent an amazing few days in Chitwan Nation Park where Rabi provided us with a guide who was a wealth of information on birds(my husband is an avid bird watcher). We then spent a day in Kathmandu touring with Rabi who again impressed us with his knowledge and keeping all of us engaged in conversation about Nepal.
Our entire time in Nepal was more enjoyable than we could have imagined. Rabi went above and beyond any tour manager we have ever used.

Trekking with iTour Nepal was a fantastic experience for me, my wife and our 5years old daughter.

We stayed with the managers family in Kathmandu for 3 days and left for Pokhara via private car which was included in the package. Unfortunately there was a deadly car accident on the only road to Pokhara which generally means the road would be closed for the whole day. Luckily our team managed to organize another private car from the other side of the accident, so we had only a minor delay on our way to Pokhara instead of loosing a whole day.

Accomodation in Pokhara was also good and having dinner with the trekking team was a good way to get to know each other before heading off to the mountains.

Doing Annapurna Base Camp with your 5 years old child is somewhat more challenging than trekking on your own, especially when weather conditions are really bad, as it was the case for the time we went trekking to ABC. We had lots of rain, at least in the afternoon, sometimes during the whole day. But the guys of iTour Nepal did everythig they could to make up for it. Always kind, helping where they could, playing and laughing with our daughter, they were the best team one could expect.

Since the ABC trek is quite long for a 5 years old (we had been trekking for 8 days) and sometimes very difficult to walk (especially the steep parts), our team had built a special carrier basket out of a traditional nepalese basket for our daughter and carried her safely for the most part of the trek. Even in the worst weather conditions and most difficult terrain the porters never stumbled and we always felt, that our daughter was save with them.

Aside from that the guys were very nice travel companions and we shared lots of laughs and had lots of fun playing UNO in the evening.

And in the end we always were able to see the mountains at the important spots like MBC and ABC at least for some time in the morning or in the evening thanks to the thought-out organisation of the trek (staying in ABC rather than climbing up and down in one day from MBC was crucial for us to see the mountains at ABC).

So despite the unlucky weather conditions we rate iTour Nepal 5 stars and would recommend them to everyone, especially to families thinking about trekking Himalaya.

Special thanks to our Team Dil, Provin and Ramez.

Note:
It is also possible to stay with the tour managers family in Kathmandu via AirBnB, which we did and which we would also highly reccomend. Just look for his wife Kopila as host on AirBnB.

We visited Nepal end of September and did a customised 6 day tour with Rabi and his team. I was travelling with my mother and we both preferred a more cultural/heritage based tour rather than a trekking tour and iTour most definitely delivered! Rabi was very responsive and answered all of our queries timely. As my mother and I are both vegetarians, he was also very kind to recommend vegetarian food options during our stay. We had an excellent guide in Kathmandu, Sarjan who was very knowledgeable and professional. We learnt so much about the rich cultural heritage of Nepal (architecture, festivals, customs, food, geography etc.) from his guided tours. He was very patient and considerate and we were very pleasantly surprised that he even stayed after the entire tour had ended just to guide us along the narrow streets of Thamel to various shops when we wanted to do some shopping.

Our guide in Pokhara, Vasantha, was also lovely! He showed us the beautiful sights of Pokhara. Despite the fact that the weather was unfortunately not in our favour whilst we were there (rainy/cloudy days), he went out of his way to ensure we had an enjoyable time. We were incredibly thankful that he managed to book us an early flight back to Kathmandu as he had expected delays due to the weather and because of this we were able to get to Kathmandu earlier than expected and could squeeze in a little more sightseeing and shopping!

Rabi and his team are very professional and we are so glad we got to do our first trip to Nepal through them. We highly recommend any first timers to Nepal to consider iTour Nepal for their private tours. You are sure to be well taken care of:)
