Annapurna Adventure!
Feb 2020
I trekked to Annapurna Base Camp with my boyfriend in February and let's just say that I was nervous about it, having never done any trekking on this scale before. But our guide Krish was brilliant and we were so well looked after. In the mountains I've never seen views like it, I can't recommend it enough. We also stayed in Pokhara for a night and I never wanted to leave! We were so lucky to get there before the lockdown, but we'll definitely be using the company again for our next adventure. Thanks a million.

Thank you very much for sharing your experiences. It really seems you had great time in the trek. Krish would be very happy to be acknowledged like this. We could not agree more that you indeed got lucky before lockdown started. Very glad that you were able to enjoy your trek without ay hinders. Feel free to contact us anytime in future and we would be more than happy to assist you once again with amazing treks. Stay Safe!

Best guide - Ram
Dec 2019 • Friends
Very helpful and supportive during out stay at the village. Teaching at the school was a good experience for me. Ram helped tremendously when we interacted with both the students and teachers and helped us understand more about Nepali culture and language. Whilst trekking, Ram shared with us his experience as well as tips on a successful trek. He also offered to lift our bags when we got tired.

Thank-you Pasang!
Jun 2019
My 2 friends and I loved this trip. Pasang was the best tour guide ever- he made us feel very safe and cared for.

He was extremely experienced and very professional, and knew how to have a laugh. The office staff were also very lovely and helpful and provided us with all the information we needed.

Would 1000% recommend this to anyone! - we were three 19-year old girls, and it was our first time on a proper hike, and we always felt supported and safe.

Thank-you Pasang!!! All the best.

Annapurna Base Camp
Wow! What a professional service and well organised. My guide ‘Sunil’ was very experienced and a great person to spend my time on the trek with. He knew everything and told my everything I needed to know. As well as a great guide, my porter ‘Hari’ was incredible. He helped me with my bag if my knees were getting sore and helped me down the icey stairs when we were coming back from ABC. I just want to say a huge thanks to both Sunil and Hari who were very professional when needed be, especially the part from ABC to MBC as the trail was snowed over.
Overall I would highly recommend ACE the Himalaya as a service to all and Im definitely coming back in the coming years to do EBC!
Cheers

A HUGE thank you to Ace!!!
Nov 2019
I am a second time client of Ace and I am happy to have the opportunity to rave about this company! I completed the Everest Base Camp trek with Ace in April 2011 and returned in November 2019 for the Annapurna Base Camp trek. I honestly cannot recommend this company enough!

Our guide for Annapurna was Madan and if you’re lucky enough to trek with him, you are in for a treat! We were a group of four friends, and because of this, he gave us the option to trek further each day so we could have more time to enjoy Base Camp. He was incredibly patient as some of us struggled with the ‘up’ steps and others with the ‘downs’. Every morning he would greet us with a big smile and and his enthusiasm kept us going when our legs were exhausted. Stay tuned for more about Madan below...

Our porters, Samid and Dilip, completed our little family for the trek. They took hiking breaks with us, played cards with us at night, took our meal orders and saved seats for us until we arrived at the teahouses. We really appreciated their smiles and encouragement! Honestly, we could not have completed the trek without their help. That is not an easy job - and I swear we tried to pack light!

If you’re still unsure about what trekking company to book with, let me tell you a story about what makes Ace so special...
On our last day in Kathmandu, we had a emergency situation (keep in mind, this was AFTER our trek was over). My sister was 100 meters outside the hotel when a motorbike slid into her, dislocating and fracturing her ankle. It was overwhelming to all of a sudden be in foreign hospital with no idea what to do and the first person I called was our Ace guide, Madan. He met us at the hospital within 20 minutes and stayed with us all day. I cannot begin to tell you what a huge relief that was. He spoke with the doctors, translated for us, and provided support when we truly didn’t have anyone else. I am still blown away by his kindness. We felt particularly bad because it was his day off work to spend with his family! I will be grateful to him for the rest of my life for helping us that day and he has continued to check in now that we are back home and she has just had surgery. Clearly this is not in his job description, but it says a lot about him as a person. The fact that I could count on him even after the trek was over says so much about Ace as a company. Their employees do the right thing and are amazing people. I truly cannot say enough about his assistance that day.

In addition, I have to compliment the Ace Operations Manager, Sajiya, as well. The accident happened a few hours before our departure flight and so we missed it. We stayed an three extra days in Kathmandu until we could get on a ‘medically suitable’ flight. I emailed Sajiya to coordinate our transportation to the airport for our new flight and a second visit to the hospital. Within 10 minutes of receiving my email she came over to the hotel to check in on us in person. And, then she came back to check on us again the next day! Our trek was over and yet Ace continued to take care of us. It speaks volumes about Ace as a company.

I will continue to recommend Ace the Himalayas to anyone considering a trip to Nepal and hopefully I will be back someday for my third trek! Honestly, you are in excellent hands with this company and I guarantee you are in for the trip of a lifetime!
