I had an amazing tour of the 7 UNESCO sites with guide Dipendra Dharel of Himalayan Social Journey. He was very professional and knowledgeable on the history of the sites. He carefully considered my preferences. We toured all sites at my preferred pace. I suggest to verify the total cash needed to pay the entry tickets, the day before the tour to ensure that you have sufficient Nepalese Rupees. For lunch, Dipendra recommended a nice rooftop restaurant with a view of the Boudha Stupa. It was the best spot to take a photo of the stupa. I highly recommend this tour and I hope you get the dependable Dipendra as your guide.

Great paragliding just outside of Kathmandu! Safe and fun mini half day adventure. The pilot, guide and driver were all professional and kind. They give you all the photos and a recording of the flight as well which is really appreciated!

It was my first trekking experience in Nepal and Himalayan Social Journey made the entire experience memorable. They are very professional and will help you at every point. A special word of thanks to Sushma, who helped a lot throughout and was my go-to person. My guide Dinesh was a gem and so was the porter, Ramkrishna. Dinesh saved my life a few times (literally) and he is so efficient and helpful that it is hard to put in words. Want togo back to Nepal through HSJ, there is a lot more to do. Mingmar sherpa dai was our trek lead along-with Tenzing dai, Janak and Siddharth. All of them really helped us during entire the trek. Whether it is stay, food or assistance for any additional request. I would highly recommend them as trek leads if you are planning for the trek in and around Nepal. Specially EBC.

Great Adventure! The Sherpas I. E. Mingmar, Janak, Tenzing and Kubir took good care of us. Enjoyed the trip a lot, a little uncomfortable when it comes to accomodation but you can't expect much at 5000m height.

I came to Nepal to conquer Mt. Everest, and I did…sort off. :D I can’t climb mountains even to save my life! So I did the next best thing, which was to fly, to get a scenic view of Mt. Everest and the rest of the chain of the Himalayan mountains. I was picked up promptly from my hotel, very early for the early morning flight and dropped off at the airport. We had tickets purchased by the tour company (Himalayan Social Journey) . After check-in, we waited until it was our turn. The left side of the plane got to see the mountains first then the plane turned around and it was our side’s (right) turn. We had a map with illustration of the various mountains. Flight staff of Shee Airlines also went around and helped us orient with the view. It was an amazing experience to actually see the peak up close. Everyone went home extremely pleased and happy. It was a clear day and the peak was very visible with a few clouds, which actually made the view even more stunning. It was an exhilarating one hour experience. This activity is highly recommended and a must-do on a visit to Nepal.

Had an absolute amazing time. The Himalayas were beautiful, had blue skies and views everyday. Himalayan Social Journey and our guides Mingmar Sherpa and Rupesh went beyond our expectations. Definety helped us reach Everest Base Camp without any issues. Would definitely do another trek with them and would not use anyone else.

Its been a wonderful Everest Base Camp (EBC) experience with Himalayan Social Journey (HSJ). They made us stay in a luxury hotel in Kathmandu. During the trek, our HSJ guide Anil Nepali stayed us with through ups & downs. He patiently stayed during delays due to rain, Trekked back 3km at night as i had developed AMS in the middle & stayd in hospital as one of my partner fell sick. He always prioritized our safety over his although in many cases he worn out. HSJ even arranged a helicopter from Lukla to Kathmandu at the end as we stuck due to rain. They seems have good connections over the trail to help during emergencies. Highly recommended
