About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- annasP9102BB0 contributionsA unique experienceDefinitely an experience!! Gets you from A to B very cheaply, don't expect any sleep though. The roads are unsealed all the way there and super rough. A lot of the terrain is super steep too so our teeth were clacking all the way to Pokhara. The seats themselves were very comfy and went back a long way. The bus stopped every few hours (though a strong stomach is needed to use the public facilities on the road!! Make sure you go beforehand!!) The buses honk at each other with a range of different hilarious musical horns, creating a delightful cacophony and adding to the uniqueness of the experience. The pick up / finding the bus was pretty chaotic and random. We had a guide with us to help, which made the process fairly smooth, but I'm not sure how it would have gone down if we hadn't had him. The bus park is a circus of disorganised chaos and we loaded onto the bus amidst a chorus of terrifying horns blaring and buses trying to get past each other. Our bus was actually moving while we got on. Mobility and bravery a prerequisite. The pick up process left a little to be desired but it added to the overall unique experience of the tourist overnight bus! I give 3.5, though the platform won't let me, and most of the issues are to do with the environment and not the actual bus. The staff and the bus were perfectly fine.Written 1 March 2025
- R1796TBsureshs0 contributionsReliable, Cost-Friendly, and Comfortable Bus ServiceI booked a Kathmandu to Chitwan bus ticket through the Mountain Hike Nepal online site, and the experience was overall good and safe. The journey took over 5 hours due to traffic and ongoing road expansion. For those traveling on a budget, the bus is the best option. I recommend it to anyone who doesn’t mind a longer ride, as you can enjoy scenic river views along the way while keeping your travel costs low.Written 24 February 2025
- Eliz B0 contributionsSofa bus stopped appropriately for breaks. Details on here are confusing - best to phone or direct message.Sofa bus left close to time and stopped appropriately for rest breaks. Great river views from window seat. Note that details shown on here, and in automated emails, are confused. Its best to phone or direct message for meeting points and meeting times. Bus had 40 people (not the max 20 stated here) meaning that as a tall foreigner my knees were bumping against seat in front - I used a coat to cushion them. Average height or shorter people will be fine. Note the journey takes approx 7 hours (not 5-6).Written 18 February 2025
- greenlight10 contributionsWonderful bus rideThe people who originated this tour -mountain hike, Nepal, were a delight to work with!, Especially MANISH. I even spaced out my vest on the bus and he retrieved it for me! Went way out of his way!Written 3 January 2025
- l0vekumarb0 contributionsUnforgettable Paragliding Experience in Pokhara!I had an amazing time paragliding with Mountain Hike Nepal! The journey started with private transportation to Sarangkot, a beautiful spot at 1,592m above sea level. The 25-minute flight was breathtaking, with stunning views of villages, temples, and lakes, and I even shared the sky with eagles and vultures! Seeing the majestic Mt. Machhapuchhre, Annapurna, and Himchuli from above was surreal. The team was professional, and safety was their top priority. The photos and videos they provided were a perfect way to relive this incredible adventure. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Pokhara!Written 25 December 2024
- 357maheshc0 contributionsTrishuli River Rafting: A Thrilling Day Trip from Kathmandu by Mountain Hike NepalI had the pleasure of experiencing the **Trishuli River Rafting** trip with **Mountain Hike Nepal**, and it was an unforgettable adventure that exceeded all my expectations! From the start, the company ensured a smooth and well-organized experience. The pick-up from Kathmandu was prompt, and the scenic drive to the Trishuli River (around 3-4 hours) was a wonderful way to see the Nepali countryside. The Mountain Hike Nepal team was professional, friendly, and informative. Our guide went over the safety instructions thoroughly, making sure we were comfortable and prepared for the journey ahead. As for the rafting itself, it was nothing short of thrilling. The Trishuli River offers a perfect mix of rapids ranging from Class II to III, which made for an exciting, heart-pumping experience. Navigating through the rapids with the guidance of skilled experts was exhilarating. The calm sections in between allowed us to appreciate the stunning surroundings, from lush hills to the peaceful flow of the river. The highlight of the trip was definitely the rapids, but the beautiful landscape along the way made it even more special. The trip also included a delightful riverside lunch at a cozy spot, which was the perfect way to relax and soak in the beauty of the place after an action-packed morning. The food was delicious and gave us the chance to chat with fellow adventurers and share our favorite moments from the river. Mountain Hike Nepal made sure every detail was taken care of, from the equipment to the logistics, ensuring that our safety and enjoyment were top priorities. This rafting adventure is ideal for anyone visiting Kathmandu looking for an exciting outdoor experience, whether you're a beginner or have some rafting experience. **Tips:** - Bring comfortable, quick-dry clothes and sturdy water shoes. - Sunscreen is a must for the sun exposure on the river. - A waterproof bag for your belongings is a good idea. If you're in Kathmandu and craving an adventure, I highly recommend booking **Trishuli River Rafting** with **Mountain Hike Nepal**. It’s an amazing way to combine adrenaline, nature, and culture into one fantastic day trip!Written 13 December 2024

You choose riverview seat to enjoy the scenic view throughtout journey. Road was dusty and except some traffic due to expansion work ongoing on. The best way get chitwan on budget is through the tourist bus with lot other travellers. Recommended trip for budget travel to choose service with Mountain hike team.Written 8 April 2024

- Climber668235266190 contributionsVery Bad Experience, never need to ride again with Zing bus service, Authorised by Manish TravelsVery bad services are of Zing bus, They are really very irritating, when you reach at your pick up point the star asking money for luggage and that even big price like 300 rs per luggage. In that case the traveller has to pay because he don't have any option, if he cancel the ticket then no refundWritten 8 March 2024
