About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- holgerv1930 contributionsWonderful experience with a great guideWe did the 4 day Poon Hill Trek with our guide Gobinda. The trek was very good. The accomodations during the tour were also very nice and comfortable. Experiencing the sunrise at the Poon Hill was the highlight of our trip so far. Our guide Gobinda is such a great and helpful guide. He was always there for us and took so much care of us. We definetly recommend him as a guide!Written 20 March 2024
- emmaj0sefine0 contributionsScenic hike and a great guide!I can definitely recommend this trek. The entire route is incredibly scenic with spectacular mountain views, villages and comfortable accomodation in the guesthouses along the way. And my guide, Gobinda, made the trek itself a really good experience. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe during the entire trek. Tip: Make sure you bring enough cash for meals and warm clothes if you do this trek in the winter. The nights can get really cold.Written 4 January 2024
- 242rileyg0 contributionsVery good tripVery very good trip. Lots of very scenic views, incredible wild life (monkeys, langur), very interesting and green forest and jungles. The best is the mountain views, absolutely stunning. My guide, Milan, was also very helpful, and I would definitely trust him again.Written 14 December 2023
- F7159JOkatiem0 contributionsPoon Hill TrekThis trek is absolutely amazing! Would 100% recommend. Our guide was Gobinda, he was incredible. Honestly one of the best guides we have had. I sprained my ankle and Gobinda went above and beyond to help me. He was so kind and it meant a lot. If you do this trek you have to ask for Gobinda! Well worth it.Written 1 December 2023
- bmoy940 contributionsGreat trek and helpful guideThe four day poon hill trek was spectacular. Our guide Gobinda was the best. He is extremely friendly and thoughtful. He made the trek much easier for us and was very considerate of our abilities, not pushing us too hard and being very patient. We had some health issues during the trek and Gobinda took really good care of us while hiking and in the evenings in the teahouse, ensuring we had everything we needed to make the experience as comfortable as possible. We highly recommend this trek and also would encourage anybody to ask for Gobinda as their guide, you won't regret it.Written 1 December 2023

- 145piotrz0 contributionsGreat time hiking to the Poon HillWe've had a great time with our guide Gobinda. He was kind to ensure we got the best spots in the teahouses and we could rely on him regarding any matter during our trek. The trail is beautiful, not too crowded and very well paced. Thanks!Written 4 November 2023
- yvonnewA221EK0 contributionsUnforgettable ExperienceWe have spent 4 days with Gobinda hiking the Poon Hill Trek. During this time we have seen an absolutely beautiful landscape including a jungle walk alongside a river, countless rice fields, local villages and of course stunning views at the Himalayan mountains. Our tour guide explained us a lot about the local culture, geography of the region and daily life in Nepal. Also he took the time to give us a small tour around local villages after a long day of hiking and even got us a birthday present as one of us turned 29 during the trip. We really felt as being part of a family. :) From an organizational standpoint everything worked fine. The permit was taken care of for us,Written 20 October 2023
- joshbD9809LH0 contributionsAmazing 4-Day Muldai Trek With GobindaWe spent 4 days with Gobinda and had a fantastic time. Gobinda was thoughtful, caring & taught us about the local culture, history & mountain peaks. He created a brilliant trek so we could do both Muldai peak & Poon Hill which we would recommend. Muldai is quieter & slightly higher, the views were incredible! The guest houses were comfortable with good hearty portions of food & friendly hosts. We will definitely be back!Written 6 October 2023
- Janaaertsens0 contributionsPoonhill 4 day hikeWe booked a 4 day hike to Poonhill. It was a great experience. Our guide Gobinda was from great value. We felt really conformable with him and he was a gentle man. He wasn't only a guide, but also a butler (for ordening the dinner) , a shoe repairder and a leachpikker. He also told a lot about his own childhood and life in Nepal, which made the experience more meaningful. I would definatly recommend him!Written 9 August 2023
- Curious605966945040 contributionswonderful experienceMe and my friend did the Poon hill trek in august 2023. We had an amazing time with Gobinda, our guide. He always made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He gave us an insight in the Nepalese culture and really made the experience worth it. Even though it was quite cloudy and we didn't see the mountain peaks at Poon hill, the rice fields, fairytale-like forests and waterfalls were completely stunning. Would definitely recommend!Written 9 August 2023
- B5743RTkostask0 contributionsPoon hill trekkingI chose the Poon hill trek and I had the great chance to share this incredible experience with Gobinda. First of all, the trekking path is absolutely gorgeous. Even though, some days the weather was cloudy and so the view wasn’t clear, the path had a great variety of things to see and experience. Waterfalls, nature, rainforest, hills, local villages, local kind people, good food and sometimes great views. Furthermore, Gobinda was an absolutely excellent guide! He was very kind, communicative, easygoing and let you feel comfortable. Also, he was always taking care of me in order to have everything I want. During our trek, he was always willing to explain me everything about the trekking and Nepal, while he was willing to provide me any recommendation for the rest of my trip. I definitely recommend Gobinda as a guide and would absolutely love to have him as a guide again when I return to the mountains of Nepal!Written 25 July 2023
- NvSteenis0 contributionsPoon Hill track with guide GobindaWe did the Poon Hill Trek with four friends and our guide Gobinda. Despite the cloudiness and rain we still had an amazing hike. We walked mainly through very atmospheric jungle scenes and alongside amazing waterfalls and streams. Gobinda told us a lot about both the nature and culture of Nepal. We quickly bonded on a personal level, which made him a real part of our group and taught us a lot about the life of the people in Nepal.Written 23 July 2023
- Guide200528699350 contributionsAmazing Poon Hill hikeMe and my three friends had an amazing time while doing te Poonhill hike. The hotels were very nice, all the food was great and especially our guide, Gobinda, was really nice. It is a great opportunity to get to know Nepal and its culture through the eyes of a local guide. The hike itself was beautiful with a spectacular route along gorges, through jungle and across creeks. We had bad view of the mountains due to the weather, but I'm sure it would make the hike it even better.Written 8 July 2023
- Go671535244860 contributionsincredible and highly recommendable guide, thank you Gobinda!Gobinda was an absolutely excellent guide for our group! very easygoing, communicative, and he is able to feel the athmosphere of the group very well. during our trek, he has absolutely taken the extra mile to show us around regarding nature and the different aspects of life in the area we were trekking in. Gobinda is an amazing guide and more importantly, and amazing person with whom you'll definitely want to hang out with a lot during your trek. I'll definitely recommend Gobinda and would absolutely love to have him as a guide again when I return to the mountains of Nepal!Written 8 July 2023
