About
This night tour was awarded TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice "No. 1 Experience in Thailand" in 2018 & 2020, and for good reason.
Exploring at night and by the iconic tuk tuk is a great way to discover Bangkok and learn about the local culture.
On this 4-hour tour you will:
• Whizz around Bangkok in a tuk tuk
• Visit The Flower Market, the grounds of Wat Arun, and Chinatown
• Explore the historic part of Bangkok, and see famous temples and sights illuminated at night
• Enjoy snacks, dinner and a dessert!
This is considered a cultural tour with food. However, it should not be considered an in-depth food tour.
This tour is available in 2 options:
• Small group join in tour with maximum 10 guests (available Wed / Fri / Sat / Sun)
• Private Tour for just yourself.
NOTE: We are now regularly running this tour after almost 2 years disruption due to COVID. We are regularly reviewing the route and may make changes as needed.

This is a small group tour done by Tuk Tuk at night. You meet your guide at a train station and then are whisked off through the city by Tuk Tuk for the next four hours. Our Tuk Tuk driver was incredible and she always had cold water ready for us after each stop.
The tour is structured very well. You start with some snacks at small food stalls and then move to some history of the city. Seeing temples and monuments at night is a whole different experience. After that, you go to a sit-down restaurant for authentic Thai food and beer! It keeps alternating between history and food all night long which makes it a great experience. You take your time to eat all night and learn about Bangkok along the way. It was extremely enjoyable and I would recommend this tour to any age group.

Our host did an amazing job of not only taking us to all the important food stalls, but also providing a fun packet showing off important phrases and foods we would be eating.
It was fun (and just the right amount of stressful) trying to order some of the dishes in Thai. Note - not a requirement if you aren't comfortable, but when else are you going to get a chance to practice a tonal language with a safety net?
The packet itself was incredibly helpful for understanding the foods and giving ideas on what to try once we returned home and wanted to attempt recreating any of these dishes.
Oh, can't forget this. We (I) completely flubbed our timeline and ended up being a bit late to start the tour. Our guide was super accommodating and still overstuffed us with all the delicious things we could ever want
Would absolutely do this again!

Thanks so much for your review it is great and glad you loved your experience.
Actually we believe it was our "Evening Food & Tuk Tuk Adventure" that you did - which is our full food tour experience (as opposed to Bangkok by Night - which is more of a cultural tour).
Most importantly we are glad you ate well and would love to host you again, and again, and again!

We had a terrific time on this tour and highly recommend it as a good way to experience Bangkok at night and taste some local food you might not otherwise try on your own. The tour leaders were easy to find and understand and we got to see many of the city's "must sees" at night and up close. And the best part is you get to see the sights and taste some amazing food, so be hungry when you begin the tour. Riding a Tuk-Tuk is a great way to experience any city on a tour or on you own.

I can not reccomend this tour enough! We really enjoyed how quickly and easily you can see Bangkok As we only had a couple days at this location. I feel this tour covered the majority of the “must see’s” with a great English speaking tour guide to give some history and explanation along the way. Our tour guide has some fantastic food recommendations that we likely wouldn’t of tried without him. The temples were beautiful in the evening and the flower market was a huge eye opener to the hustle and bustle of many locals in the area. If I can reccomend only one tour while in Thailand it would be this one!

My daughter and I visited Bangkok for new year's eve and with only 3 days to spare, we chose this tour along with the Best of Bangkok in a Day. The temples and markets look completely different at night and our guide made the entire experience really fun. The Tuk-Tuk was a fast and fun way to get around the city and the food and history we received made this the perfect tour. I highly recommend it.

We only had two days in Bangkok and needed to carefully choose what to do,a decision futher complicated by us travelling with two teenagers. The Bangkok by Night tour was the perfect choice. We got to do all the musts in one go with an absolute amazing guide who both truly knew and shared the history of her country as well as culture by both facts and personal experience. This is also the first time ever on any tour the food lives up to the promise, all was top standard (and we are foodies used to across the world visit the best restaurants so quite hard to impress)! My husband and I had seen the temples before some 17 years ago but this was a new and better experience as not croweded which meant it was possible to really appriciate the places. The possiblity to ask questions to one of the monks was a great extra!

I only had a day and a half in Bangkok and wanted to make the most of it, and this tour looked like a good introduction to the city and to Thai food and culture, so I booked it for myself and a few friends. Our guide was Nylah, and she was amazing. Friendly, personable, funny, and full of information! We started off in a local market, where Nylah procured several samples for us to try, while walking through the market. Then it was off to our first temple stop. The temples were gorgeous at night, and Nylah knew the best spots to get photos. After that, it was dinner at Thipsamai, where we experienced pad thai at the oldest pad thai restaurant in Bangkok. The pad thai and the orange juice were incredible! Back to the tuktuk (with our awesome driver, "Victory"...who had an I <3 the 90s remix pumping and the best disco lights in town!) and a few more temple and photo op stops, including Wat Pho. Our final stop of the evening was a walk through the flower market, and then dessert and a lotus flower folding lesson in a spot overlooking the flower market. At the end of the evening, our tuktuk driver took us all the way back to our lodging, so we didn't even have to worry about figuring out how to get home. I can't recommend this tour highly enough...Nylah was an amazing guide, and it was a perfect way to learn a little about the Thai culture and food.

What a fantastic tour! There were 7 of us on this tour, and I can honestly say it was the best thing I did in bangkok! Everything from the guide, tuk tuk drivers, sights, food etc was perfect. I went on a food tour with another company and it was awful (with locals tour with a totally disengaged guide and awful food) - the food on this tour was excellent including the street food that was selected for us. The guide was in tune with what we would like. Nat was our guide and his English was excellent. I wish I could have done a half day temple tour with this company. It may seem expensive but trust me you get your moneys worth - the tour in China town was really fun and the flower market mind blowing. This is a well organised professional company. Don’t hesitate just do this tour you won’t regret it!

We have asked the organizers for a private tour “off the beaten track” and we have not been disappointed. We started off with a visit at a very local market where we had some snacks - sooo delicious. My favorite have been the fresh spring rolls. We continued our tour and had Isaan local street food. Our guide explained the food and it was a true local experience. We continued further to visit Wat Arun by night, indeed an amazing (and different) experience. We then went on to visit the flower market. We had seen the street before but I was totally surprised how big and busy the market is if you go “inside” where the real market is. And somehow it feels like Bangkok some 30 years ago…We finished off the tour in China town, exploring the local food stalls and ending with some yummy dessert.
Overall and in a nutshell a great tour we would highly recommend.

The tour does end in the flower market however, We did get a free drop off at our hotel but I think it depends on which hotel you stay at. If its close by etc. I would check what the website says! As reference we stayed at Banyan Tree in Sathorn Road. If they do not offer a free return it's reasonable price wise to pay for one back.

We are traveling as a party of 11, 3 families of adults.
I can see that the maximum booking allowed on line is 9 persons. Is there anyway you could accommodate or party of 11 as a special request.

Hi,
wir haben uns um 19:00 getroffen. Es war Top organisiert. Ich war skeptisch, doch meine Familie eher offen. Es war eines unserer schönsten Erlebnisse in Bangkok. Das Essen im Restaurant eines der Höhepunkte.
Unbedingt machen!!!
Viel Spaß in Bangkok.
Wir werden es definitiv wiederholen!
Which temples do you visit as part of the tour? We’re intending to visit some earlier in the day as well. Thanks.

Hi,
We visited Wat Pho and Wat Suthat.
The difference with visiting the temples at night is they are so peaceful.
During the day the crowds are tremendous.
Be aware the grand palace closes at 3.30 ...last entrance 2.30.
Enjoy

Similar to Trevor, we arrived back at our hotel between 1030 and 11pm (met at 6). Although we were a little tired as it was the evening of the day we landed, it was a great intro to Bangkok. We did a Thai cooking class the next afternoon (after sleeping in a bit) through House of Taste, which was also excellent for us.

The tour starts by the train station , about 20” walk from the Hilton millennium hotel . You have to navigate streets with hardly any side walks , so be careful about all the scooter bikes ! It is about an hour taxi ride from the airport . You can check your confirmation ticket if there are any contact info I believe everything is via email
