About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- fairywin0 contributionsAmazing TourTae (Tony) our tour guide was amazing so informative and passionate about his job we learnt a lot about the history of the Grand Palace and the Emerald Temple and Reclining Buddah. We went for a private tour as we were time short which Tong was very flexible with our times and energy. We were an older group so he was very respectful of our limitations love the tuk tuks difficult to get in and out but manageable and worth a few aches and pains. Our drivers were very helpful This is the way to go to see Bangkok safely very reasonable in price would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Written 16 March 2024
- Evan A0 contributionsBangkok Midnight Markets Tour - a MUST DO to see 'real Bangkok'Everyone I've told about going for a tour that starts at 10pm and ends at 2am has looked at me like I'm mad. Maybe, but in this case it paid off SO much. First - don't let the time scare you. Bangkok is so much cooler at night, and with rush hour actually over, you can see way more, way faster than you do in the day. Secondly, the places that you go aren't even open during the day, or aren't anywhere as alive as they are at night. And finally, the guide (Net) and driver we had were delightful, passionate and so much fun to spend an evening with. We visited four markets, plus a snack break. I was wondering at first if it might get tiring, but it didn't at all - each market was SO unique. From the racy streets of the night markets (with shops that open at 5pm and shut at 5am), to trendy teen hangouts, the Khlong Toei market with all sorts of produce, and Chinatown's wholesale market, all of it was incredibly interesting and there was literally not a single boring moment from start to finish. Having Net guide us was also amazing. Not only was she super friendly and bubbly (which was a lot, given the hour), but she also engaged with vendors to help us ask questions about what we were seeing - which was super helpful, because we were pretty much the only tourists around at all the locations we went to. Many tours will take you places you could go on your own or read things online about, but this one really lets you (as a foreigner) access to parts of Bangkok you definitely couldn't manage alone. Everything from the route to the stops is super well planned and organised, and it seriously impressed me.Written 12 March 2024
- bogdand9420 contributionsAmazing experience with PWe did not have a guide on the two tours we did with Expique, we had a family member! That's how it felt doing two tours with Mr P (Da Nai - I hope I spell it right)! Expique were impecable. They were responsive, adapted to all our needs (and we had tons, what with 4 kids in the group), were ready to change things on the go. All the transport was great, food delicious and atmosphere amazing! Would recommend and do again whenever back in Bangkok!Written 20 February 2024
- Wahida T0 contributionsRecommendedThe organiser were so accommodating. We went on the tour with them on tuk tuks with my 2 children. At first I was worried if my children will enjoy or not since it's in the evening, but the guide P was phenomenal with the kids. It was funWritten 26 January 2024

- J1830 contributionsBangkok Night Lights - Small Group Tuk Tuk Tour with Guide SasaWe did the Bangkok Night Lights - Small Group Tuk Tuk Tour with tour Guide Sasa. Sasa was tour guide and made sure everyone enjoyed the food, there were 3 people with vegetarian preferences and she looked after is really well and made sure we enjoyed the experience perfectly well. We visited 6 different places on the tuktuk which was amazing, including the flower markets, food market's and Chinatown. We finished up the nights with a trip to Chinatown and good the best pancakes in town at Honey bear pancakes. They were absolutely delicious. Sara brought us to all the right places. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bangkok.Written 10 January 2024

I only had a day and a half in Bangkok and wanted to make the most of it, and this tour looked like a good introduction to the city and to Thai food and culture, so I booked it for myself and a few friends. Our guide was Nylah, and she was amazing. Friendly, personable, funny, and full of information! We started off in a local market, where Nylah procured several samples for us to try, while walking through the market. Then it was off to our first temple stop. The temples were gorgeous at night, and Nylah knew the best spots to get photos. After that, it was dinner at Thipsamai, where we experienced pad thai at the oldest pad thai restaurant in Bangkok. The pad thai and the orange juice were incredible! Back to the tuktuk (with our awesome driver, "Victory"...who had an I <3 the 90s remix pumping and the best disco lights in town!) and a few more temple and photo op stops, including Wat Pho. Our final stop of the evening was a walk through the flower market, and then dessert and a lotus flower folding lesson in a spot overlooking the flower market. At the end of the evening, our tuktuk driver took us all the way back to our lodging, so we didn't even have to worry about figuring out how to get home. I can't recommend this tour highly enough...Nylah was an amazing guide, and it was a perfect way to learn a little about the Thai culture and food.

5 of us did this tour on Christmas day. Our Tuk Tuk drivers were great sports dressing as Santas & playing somewhat the part. Our guide Bee was very nice & knowledgeable. Having an audio guide or a way for her to communicate with all participants while riding the tuk tuks would have brought this to a whole new level.
Having some music while riding the tuk tuks would have also added to the ambience.
The food was plentiful but I would have preferred more of a "street food" experience as some of the food was had in an indoor restaurant. But this company is well run, with great communication before, during & after the tour which earned them extra points.

Dear Mjoe,
Thank you for your review and we are glad you enjoyed your time with us and our Santa Tuk Tuk Drivers.
We note your comment about wanting more of a "street food" experience and we do want to clarify that we have a different version of this tour that focuses on street food. For those who are looking for a street food focused night tour we recommend our "Evening Food & Tuk Tuk Adventure". For the best comparisons of the different tour options please do look at the Expique website.
It is an interesting suggestion to have audio guides but we have found that they do not work that well due to background noise of tuk tuks and since we stop and get out of the tuk tuk every 5-10 minutes we do have plenty of stops for the guide to communicate.
We do thank you for your feedback.
Best regards
Simon, Guide Bee and The Expique Team

This tour was one of the highlights of our visit to Bangkok. The communication from the tour company was excellent. We were a relatively small number of people (12 in 6 Tuk-tuk). The driving was very safe and the guide excellent.
We went through different areas of the city, starting on the West side of the city learning about its history, stopping by the Chao Phraya River and visiting the first bridge built.
Still, on the west side we visited the Khao Mo temple in Wat Prayoon. This is a beautiful and peaceful place with a perfectly cared garden and water features.
After learning about the history of the west side we went to the east side where we could see the more sophisticated side of Bangkok, driving through the avenue modeled after the Champs Elysees in Paris. We tasted some delicious street dishes before stopping for dinner at a very good Padthai restaurant for dinner. There was a line about one block long waiting to get in, but the tour had reservations and we were placed in the front of the line. The meal was delicious, as well as learning the history of Padthai in Thailand.
After dinner, we stopped by the royal palace which is so beautiful when illuminated at night and then visited the grounds of the Wat Pho temple where the first school of Thai massage and the reclining Buda is located. This was one of the most amazing parts of the tour. Visiting this temple during the daytime looks like a nice tourist attraction. At night with the temple grounds were only for ourselves, the lighting was spectacular and it really looked like a place of worship and not a tourist attraction.
The tour ended at the flower market where we had a reserved table to be served dessert, local beer or other beverage and ice creme. Each one of us was given a lotus flower and was taught how to make a special arrangement with the flower.
So in summary, traveling in Tuk-tuk is a lot of fun and every place that we visited was worth it. Very recommended tour.

We enjoyed everything about this unique experience. Our guide was Lek and she did a wonderful job. She rode with us in the tuk tuk and 3 other couples joined the tour in three other provided tuk tuks. We all caravanned around Bangkok where we enjoyed some unique street food tasting experiences. We saw famous street food chef, “Jay Fay”, whom we had previously seen featured on Netflix’s Street Food show and we had a delicious full sit down dinner at a very popular Pad Thai restaurant in Bangkok. We visited beautiful temples that were extraordinary when lit up at night. And we were fascinated to visit the massive Bangkok Flower Market which apparently operates 24/7. Lek did a masterful job of telling stories and educating us at all of the stops. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends.

We had a lovely evening and learned so much about Bangkok, Thai culture and Thai cuisine.
A fun 4 hour Tuk Tuk ride with stunning views of the city, it's tempels and markets. Our guide Nun (Noon) showd us the local side of BKK with all it's hidden tastes, colours and smells ( no worries, I meant the food and flowers:-))
An unforgetable experience thanks to our guide and tuktuk drivers! We had a great evening and enjoyed every minute of it!

JUST INCREDIBLE. I have been to Thailand and Bangkok several times since the early 1980's, I know well the culture, the people and the city as I have been on several tours over the years but this time it was special as we had all of our kids with us (a party of 7) and we wanted them to discover Bangkok and Thailand as much as possible, and I must say that this is the most amazing tour I took in the ''city of angels '' where we all learned new things, tasted new delicious street food and built on new memories for life . Our guide Boe and the Expique team provided a level of client experience that I had not seen here in the past, we were so glad with the experience that one of our child was sick and couldn't attend, with the great cooperationof Boe we were able to book within the next few days the same prvate tour of Tuk Tuk, temples and gastronomy for him and one of his brother that even if he attended a few days earlier still was able to taste new things and learned more about the Thai Culture. I would score this excursion with a BIG 10 and would always recommend Expique tour for the quality of their guides and the client experience . Like a famous song '' Don't worry be happy''

This tuk tuk tour was really good fun.
The guide was excellent, a local man who took us to the local market and told us about local life and his own personal experiences as a monk and about meditation and their way of life. It was quite fascinating.
The market snacks were safe to eat and tasty, the main course in a Michelin guide restaurant was delicious and the surprise desert and final activities were a great end to the night.
To top it off we were taken back to our hotel
I would highly recommend this tour.

Wow, we loved this tour, so much fun, we tried to not do to overload during the day so we could be ready for this 4 hour tour.
Our guide Noon and all the drivers are so lovely and make the trip extra enjoyable. We visited a market where we sampled local snacks, a couple of temples which were beautifully lit at night, a famous Pad Thai restaurant that had a long queue outside, and the flower market is a sight, it runs 24 hours and is a buzz of activities, we finished off with desert and a beer.
If you want to sample Bangkok and don’t have much time, do this tour.

I did a solo Travelling holiday to Thailand and nearby Islands. I arrived in Bangkok from the UK late at night and woke up the next morning and quickly realised that Bangkok was far Bigger than I ever expected. I didn’t have a clue where to start really so searched for nearby tours. I found Expique on Trip Advisor and afte reading the reviews booked a night tour with sightseeing, temples, food market, flower market etc etc. (2,200 THB).
What an amazing tour it turned out to be. I joined a group of other travellers and some fellow solo travellers and some couples/families. We went around Bangkok sights for almost 5 hours all by Tuk-Tuk, visiting all the sights you could wish for and more. Then we had a meal at a fantastic Thai restaurant where they were queuing out of the door but our Tour Guide “Pee” had our reservation all in hand and we bypassed the queue and went straight in and sat down. I had the pad Thai and it was the most amazing dish I’ve had so far in Thailand. It was perfect and delicious and the fresh orange which was from their homegrown oranges was the best fresh orange I’ve ever drunk. I even bought a couple of bottles of fresh orange to take-away after the meal it was that delicious .
At the end of the tour my Tuk-Tuk driver then drove me to my hotel and dropped me off for which there was no charge, although for his kindness and great night I gave him a tip. All in all a wonderful evening in and around Bangkok and I got to see places and things that I would have never found or known about had I not gone on this great night tour of Bangkok.
Thank you for making some excellent memories for me on my very first trip to Thailand and indeed Bangkok. I will be returning at some point again and the 1st thing I shall do is look you up again Expique in order to book another trip with you. I would happily do this same trip again it was that much fun. Thank you. Dave M (York in England).

My wife and I booked this tour on short notice. We had a great time with Yazz, our guide, and the group. We really enjoyed the combination of sightseeing and experiencing the diverse Thai cuisine and traversing from between sightseeing and food attractions via Tuk Tuk. Yazz was very knowledgeable and fun, and the tour was very well organized. There was always water available and restaurant wait time was eliminated for us by a designated person who went there early to wait in line for us. We highly recommend Yazz's tour!

Hi!
We are only in Bangkok for one night. We land at 6 pm so probably would not be able to start the tour before 9 pm. If we take a private tour, would you be able to accommodate us?

We got dropped off at our hotel at the end of the tour. It depends where your hotel is - if it's in the central area of Bangkok they're really accommodating. Unlike another commentor below, out tour ended in China Town.

Hi
We are traveling as a party of 11, 3 families of adults.
I can see that the maximum booking allowed on line is 9 persons. Is there anyway you could accommodate or party of 11 as a special request.
Kind regards

Hi,
wir haben uns um 19:00 getroffen. Es war Top organisiert. Ich war skeptisch, doch meine Familie eher offen. Es war eines unserer schönsten Erlebnisse in Bangkok. Das Essen im Restaurant eines der Höhepunkte.
Unbedingt machen!!!
Viel Spaß in Bangkok.
Wir werden es definitiv wiederholen!
Which temples do you visit as part of the tour? We’re intending to visit some earlier in the day as well. Thanks.

Hi,
We visited Wat Pho and Wat Suthat.
The difference with visiting the temples at night is they are so peaceful.
During the day the crowds are tremendous.
Be aware the grand palace closes at 3.30 ...last entrance 2.30.
Enjoy
