Nearly 4 hours in a old decrepit Bus with average AC in high temperatures. Long Tail boat useless kept stalling and going walking pace. Canals smelly and filthy. Floating market just full of Chinese made trash. Waited ages for a paddle boat and went a...More

Dear stuartl230, I do regret you went to the Damnern Saduak floating market with the wrong expectations which resulted in disappointment and some rather inaccurate comments. I do not remember ever hearing one customer describing the tour coach as "a old, decrepit Bus". It is...More

Dear charmmay, Thank you for the recommendation! Most of the traditional floating markets have gone now, but the one at Damnern Saduak remains for visitors to get a decent idea of how these floating markets operated. Looks like you did the right thing by sampling...More

We toured as a small group of five. It was a fun 1/2 day. We all enjoyed the ride in long-tail-speedboat! The market itself is a flurry of activity! Food, clothes, trinkets, impressive wooden carvings, etc etc are all for sale.
