About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Andrew G0 contributionsHappy with Miracle LoungeNice, clean and peaceful lounge, with comfortable seating, which we found much preferable than sitting waiting for the gate for our flight to open. Food was ok… not fantastic, and unlimited drinks. On balance I would book again.Written 9 November 2024
- KarenandKen0 contributionsFun cooking Thai foodDid a 5 course cooking class without the market visit and LOVED it! Highly recommend! So fun and informative. Very family friendlyWritten 8 November 2024

- Voyager21259020 contributionsGood show but not engagingThe costumes and setup on this show are stunning. The music mix was excellent however it felt a little disjointed with the dance acts and lacked some oomph.Written 7 November 2024
- _cplamont1210 contributionsA must do and a great experienceFantastic experience. Meet at the central silom cooking school just off Silom road. Walk to local market and shown ingredients and opportunity to taste them fresh. Includes wet market for fish, herbs, spices, etc. then a tuk tuk to the cooking class, beautiful set up with 8 cooking stations. Cooked 5 meals and was given a recipe book, chop sticks and a certificate at the end. The teacher was fantastic and very funny.Written 7 November 2024
- jeyarajr20170 contributionsBreeze through ImmigrationIt was such a relief to be greeted and taken through the immigration quickly as we had to get to our transport as soon as possible. The staff were extremely polite and helpful and spoke English. It was such a breeze and well executed the immigration check. My only regret is that bidding have loose Baht to tip them. Overall the experience was wonderfulWritten 6 November 2024
- TennisFan80 contributionsSad Reality of War in This TourOur guide, Ras, was prompt for our hotel pickup. Our 12 passenger van had 7 guests who all got along nicely. Our guide explained the day’s plan after all of us were picked up and on our way. The van had AC and we received bottled water for the drive. Ras (sounds like Rush) kept us on the move. First the museum on the river shore, then into low slung boats to ride to the bridge. Be sure to wear shorts or pants because it’s awkward getting in and out of the boat. We climbed steep stairs to the bridge and crossed the river. We were a bit hurried because we had to catch the train that took us on an hour long ride to the section of the track that was cut into the mountain side. We visited the cave discovered during the building of the railway. After an okay buffet lunch we drove to see the memorial cemetery. It was a somber place that was well-kept. The day is a long one, but my husband and I thought it was very good tour. Ras was nice enough to send pics he took of our group throughout the day.Written 5 November 2024
- 353ebrahimp0 contributionsExpensiveNot value for money and not much of a stage show. Having been to global village in Dubai this show and park is inferior. The meal was not very good quality eitherWritten 4 November 2024
- Global_Desi1230 contributionsWell organisedThis is our third cruise over the years , this was the best from the time of pick up to the hotel drop. It has a large area and the upper deck is very comfortable, there were two bands , both good and. a Thai performance. The food was okay with a lot of choices . Enjoyable evening .Written 2 November 2024
- Trek592554265090 contributionsA wonderful evening on the Chao Phraya River!Excellent, professional and courteous service provided by the staff. They ensured that all our needs were met and even volunteered to take photos. The food was good and served at appropriate intervals. We did not feel rushed. Cocktails were delicious. We were a group of 13 people. Four of our friends got to the pier on time and nine of us were stuck in traffic even though we made allowance for the traffic. Yotha kept talking to our driver on the phone and made sure someone was waiting for us in the lobby upon arrival to direct us to the pier. We were a bit late and they waited for us….YOTHA is simply amazing. I would highly recommend this cruise as you get personalized service.Written 1 November 2024
- HollyZR0 contributionsPass on the buffetThe views at the restaurant and the observation deck area are amazing, but don’t go for the food. It’s bland, often cold, and not worth the price. There are so many places to eat in Bangkok - skip this one.Written 30 October 2024
- Matar A0 contributionsBestGreat driver and he was fast with an electric car. Waiting for us with a great welcome and the car was super clear. RecommendedWritten 26 October 2024
- Lesley R0 contributionsGreat morning of cooking and eating!Fabulous morning of cooking and eating!!! Maddy, our cook was excellent- her English was great with a fab sense of humour and great knowledge of the ingredients and dishes we prepared. Was really great value for money and I would recommend to anyone wanting to try a fun activity in a new country.Written 23 October 2024
- christopheraV9295XW0 contributionsLights were cool, extremely overpricedI would only recommend visiting this place if you have a larger budget and are willing to spend well above normal market rates. The cheapest tickets I could find online were 1,600 BHT per person. The majority of the action takes place from 7:45 when a street parade starts. From there you then move onto the river float parade at 8:30 and then the main attraction being the kingdom of lights opens from 9:30 - 10:30. Before all this, the main activities out with eating the overpriced food is to play the Carnival games dotted around the park which costs 500-600 BHT per person for 2 games. Overall, we regretted spending a good chunk of our backpackers budget on this however could see this being great if you have children as they can enter for for free if under 100cm height.Written 22 October 2024
- TheFallingDingo0 contributionsIncredible! The service workers, the atmosphere, the food and drinks - all worth every penny! My husband booked this for our anniversary and it blew our expectations out of the water! Veem and Vegus were exceptional! I recommend going during sunset, then you can watch the sun go down and see the river lights once its dark! Oh! And they make sure to offer lots of great photo ops! Such a special night- thank you to all the service staff!Written 20 October 2024

You know what, I traveled over 35 countries and even I can count cities where I visited and I reallllllllly highllllllyyyy RECOMMEND this cooking class. We love thai food and I decided to go to baipai cooking school even it's slightly expensive than others. They pick us up at hotel in the morning and drop off to our next destination. We visit farmers market and we got lots of information about ingredients. We also love instructors who were so professional! We definitely come back to school when we visit bangkok again! And thank you for photos!!!!

Hi Gina,
The Baipai is one of the original cooking schools in Bangkok and its more higher end than the others that we sell. However this is very different to other cooking schools and we are pleased you enjoyed your day!

Nick

The tour of the market was not hurried and very interesting and informative. The facilities at the school were first class as was the instruction. The dishes prepared were authentic and came with a nice set of recipe cards AND a little magnet with a candid shot of you cooking :)

Itinerary says includes pick up from centrally based hotels. Then on exclusions it says Hotel Transfers. So is transportation included on the excursion or not please?
Also, I have just read a review that this travel company no longer exists??
