      Fantastic cooking class
Myself, my husband, my son and daughter-in-law took the afternoon class when we had some free time in Bangkok. Other than the location being difficult to find, we had a fantastic time! Our teacher was very instructive about the different herbs and spices used in Thai cooking. The cooking experience itself was very well organized and went so smoothly. The food we made was great! Our instructor was outstanding!! She made the whole experience fun as well as educational. My daughter-in-law said this class was the highlight of our four days in Bangkok! Thank you Tingly Thai!!

      Tingly Cooking Class
Fabulous cooking class, was close to our hotel. We went to the 6pm evening class. The ingredients were all lovely and fresh and beautifully displayed our chef explained what each ingredient was and how it was used. The dishes we cooked were all delicious. The class was good fun as the chef was so entertaining and full of energy. You should come to this class hungry as there is a lot to eat. I would recommend this class to everyone and the recipe book is a great take away which I will be using as soon as I get home.

Chon was a fantastic teacher. She gave lots of humor and encouragement as we cooked...even helped each us to adjust to our personal spiciness preference. The school had a great layout. Come on an empty stomach!!

The food was amazing. We had a great time learning how to make popular Thai dishes that tasted delicious. The Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai and green chicken curry were the best I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend this school.

      Activity Worth Trying
This activity is absolutely worth trying. Cho, the instructor, is very helpful, funny and enthusiastic about teaching her students the most famous and delicious Thai dishes. We enjoyed the best Phad Thai, Tom Yum Soup, Chicken Red Curry, and Mango Sticky Rice. It’s also affordable, making it highly recommended.

      Must-do in Bangkok!
As everyone else has said, this is a must-do activity for an evening in Bangkok! We had such a fun time at Tingly Thai Cooking School with our vibrant host, Nam! We had been looking forward to this and have come from Australia ☺️ We did a Wednesday night class and made four popular Thai dishes, Tom Yum Gung, Pad Thai, Penang Curry, and Mango Sticky Rice. The Tingly Thai Team are happy to help with any dietary requirements or allergies if you let them know at the start of the class. The flavours are so complex (sweet, sour, and salty all together) and there are many ingredients. But our host made it feel so easy to do and the time passed so quickly. We all felt like experts and cannot wait to try it at home! Thank you for the recipe books too! The class is really fun and interactive so be ready for a few laughs. Make sure you attend when you are hungry because you will be very full at the end of the class! Thank you very much to Nam and the ladies behind the scenes who made it such a memorable night for us.

Nick the Bartender at The Marriott across the street recommended this absolute Gem of a Thai Cooking school to me. This isn't just cooking classes, & they were awesome. It's a window into Thai culture , it's people, and it's all important relationship to food starting with a trek through a food market nearby. The variety and quality of each ingredient, the preparation techniques, the crash course in exotic fresh herbs and fruits i've never heard of made for a memorable experience. And, full disclosure, my 4 course extravaganza was off the charts! Toom, (wonderful instructor) and Tingly hooked me up with Eddy as a Driver/guide for the next day who went out of his way and then some. After we missed a trains's arrival at a market without missing a beat he checked times and had us racing to the next location to catch it, and we did in traffic that defied odds. The whole day was an odyssey, these folks are the real deal!

I enjoyed everything !! From beginning to end ! It was a very informative class , walking through the market and seeing all these beautiful ingredients, we paused from time to time so we could here the history of some items and how they are being used in Thai cuisine. Back at the class I had the opportunity to "get to know" the ingredients we just bought. The Aromas of each ingredient had me more in love with the cuisine!! we made Tom yum which was my favorite and other authentic dishes like pad thai too. we made curry paste from scratch which gave the dish such a beautiful burst of flavours that never faded quickly !! i would do this again !!! well done !!!

This class was amazing! My husband and I attended and loved everything about this class. The setting, staff, and quality of ingredients was next level 🙌🏻🙌🏻. Plane the instructor had a great sense of humor and made the class that much more enjoyable. If you are in Bangkok, this is a must!! I would recommend doing a morning class as it includes a visit to the markets which the afternoon class did not. Thanks Tingly Thai Cooking for a great memory. Until next time.

Tinglys cooking school has been a highlight of our trip.
Our tour started with a trip through the market to purchase produce for our meals.
Mr Tinglys was very informative in the market explaining different food.
We prepared a 4 course meal, each dish was amazing!
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in looking to learn to cool Thai dishes, or anyone that just enjoys eating Thai food!

After been to Bangkok for so many times, it was our first time enrolled a Thai Cooking activity, with all the good review from Trip Advisor for Tingly Thai. We've decided gave it a try with Tingly Thai, also they re-opened the Morning Market tour events, hence it make it more interesting.

Our Instructor Thum is superb friendly and knowledgeable, she explained all the ingredients very detail. Here, we spent the morning making four classic Thai dishes from the ingredients we'd bought: Tom Yum, Pad Thai, Thai Green Curry, and Mango Sticky Rice. On that day, there were total 6 students includes me and my husband. Each of us has our own station to prep the ingredients and cook our own dish.

There were also some preparation needs some teamwork, for example green curry paste. It was fun, everyone did contribute of preparing it.

I would definitely recommend this activity! Tip: Don’t eat too much beforehand, you will be stuffed with delicious foods during the class!!!

We were 30-minute late for the class because there was too much traffic that day and we thought we won’t be able to visit the market but one of their staffs showed us around instead (it was a short bit but we appreciate it).

The teacher was very bubbly, accommodating and answered all our inquiries with enthusiasm!

We initially booked this cooking class because I heard their kitchen was air-conditioned! And yes, it was! Hihi highly recommended especially on hot days.

And if you like cooking like me, you will surely love this experience.

Oh! They even provided a recipe book and a chopstick souvenir. So niceee!

    Highly recommended! Must go!!!

Two friends and I took the cooking class with market visit last Saturday. After visiting the market to pick up some supplies, which was a fun experience, we headed back to the facility to cook some dishes. We learned how to make coconut milk and coconut cream, sticky rice and curry paste. We cooked, and ate, tom yum soup, Pad Thai and a red curry. For dessert we were served mango and sticky rice. There were about 12 people in total in our class and Cho, the instructor, did an phenomenal job of making us all feel as we had known each other longer than a couple of hours. Cho really was one of the highlights. She has a great sense of humor, great English language skills and knowledge of her craft. One of the best cooking classes I've taken. Definitely recommend.

This cooking class was my first and one of the better things I did in Bangkok. I arrived early and waited for group and made small talk with Sho, class instructor, I had mentioned I had a peanut allergy beforehand (playing with fire here I know lol) but the instructor took great care in ensuring my station was free of peanuts and the recipes adjusted to exclude peanuts (for only my meals, I can be around peanuts just fine). Once everyone arrived we made our way to the morning market - we were able to try some fresh fruit, breakfast dishes, and collected ingredients to be used in the cooking class. Sho also helped us with the locals to order some milk tea, which I saw everywhere but hadn't tried yet. Once we got back we started our cooking journey. The stations we sparkling clean and the ingredients neatly presented for cooking. Sho told us about the various ingredients and why certain ingredients make for better Thai food. She also outlined some alternatives in case you don't have the specific ingredient. The cooking was fun and straight forward, its amazing how easy and quick it is to make things like Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup once you have the ingredients. The best part is you get to each everything you make, but this is a good time to say you should arrive hungry as you will be stuffed full by the end. Eating gives you a break to sit and talk with everyone else in the class. The class is finished off with Mango Sticky Rice, I would sign back up for this class even if it was only for the sticky rice. You leave with any leftovers you couldn't finish and a small cookbook outlining the recipes you just made and others. This location is a bit far from certain areas of Bangkok (I was staying over by the palace) and its too far for the tuktuks so be ready to flag down a cab/car to get you over to the location, it will be well worth it!

We loved the whole experience, the instructions were given in English and were easy to follow, we cooked what can be described as a full day food - there was soup, pad thai, thai curry and mango sticky rice. All the ingredients were freshly procured, and we live nearby so it was nice to discover the morning market where we could procure the fresh ingredients. The chef was really nice in explaining the ingredients and we could smell and taste things so we can add some ingredients more or less as per our pallet. Vegetarian and non vegetarian (default) both options were available so you can substitute with Tofu where chicken or prawn were used, please inform in advance. They also allow you to eat or pack the food you prepared so you can take it home for later. I would recommend if possible do the morning one since you will get a hearty breakfast out of it that you cooked yourself along with a lunch to take along since 4 dishes are a bit much to eat all at once.

I am glad I had taking this opportunity to attend this cooking class with Shoa. I live Thai food but never thought about cooking it, attending this class as boosted my confidence to cook Thai food.

Show was pleasant, friendly and funny she always got the participants involved in all steps and guided us through the process to make sure that we done our best.

If you get the opportunity I would recommend this class hands down, I am happy I took the chance to undertake this class whilst i was here.
