One this day cycling tour, pedal quiet trails around Bangkok, where life is slower and the landscape greener. Cycle through wooded areas, along tree-lined canals and visit ancient temples overgrown with twisting roots and vines. Cycling on narrow paths and winding trails makes this our most technical bicycle day tour, but still only moderately so. See a new side of Bangkok as you seemingly pedal back in time to its outskirts. After escaping the congestion of the city, we cycle our way out through the suburbs and are soon riding in the periphery of Bangkok, where tall buildings are replaced by small wooden houses, roads become narrow concrete paths or dirt tracks and crowds of people are replaced by vegetation and trees. We can't tell you exactly where you will be riding - it's our little secret that you can only discover by joining the tour. After a satisfying day of cycling, hop off the bike and relax in our shop while enjoying a complimentary drink from our ice-cold fridge.

      Not the greatest experience
I got a call from the tour guide 7pm the night before and was told that the meeting point was changed to a different hotel twice as far away. The van that picked us up was tiny, we had to sit sideways the whole day to fit in the seats. Poorly planned out, we had 20 minutes at the cemetery, 30 minutes at the museum then pushed to pay extra 300 Baht for the boat ride up the river. When we arrived at the bridge, which was supposed to be the highlite of the trip, we were told we had 5 minutes to see the bridge before the train arrived. The train ride was amazing, loved the view. When we arrived at the end of the line we had lunch, which was just ok, mostly because we had to fight of the millions of flies constantly harassing us. Then on the ride back everyone was overheating because the AC in the van wasn’t working right, which wasn’t surprising because the insulation and panelling was all missing from the interior. My recommendation is to book a bus and self guide. We didn’t learn anything we didn’t read at each location and could have been a lot more comfortable and a lot less rushed.

      Out of this world! ❤️
Truly fantastic and memorable day out with the hubby and teenagers on Sunday, 9th March. Booked on Klook (amazing, love you, Klook!). Tour guide Nancy was great, and the pick up/drop off hotel service made the whole day even easier. The long tail boat ride through the National Parks was sensational and the sea kayaking so much fun. Our kayaking guides kept our kayaks together and took photos of us. James Bond Island was.....WOW.....truly incredible experience. Next stop was Ko Panyi for lunch (great buffet lunch included in the price). Incredible place, we strolled through the markets behind the restaurants. Really amazing to think people living and working here. Final stop was the Suwan Khuha Temple which was truly incredible and beautiful, have to see to believe. Wonderful day out, incredible value for the cost. Highly recommend 👌 🙏🇹🇭❤️

River Kwai Day Trip from Bangkok
Our guide Rach was great. He kept us moving through a busy but non rushed day and took great photographs along the way. He used time getting to the site to give us context for our visit including helpful images on an iPad. Our driver was also great but I don't remember his name. Good value/full day, small group.

      Good river Kwai trip
Good trip to river Kwai. Do not add 300 baht river cruise in a long boat as is overpriced for 5 min trip. Add in museum by steel bridge and train station

Stay home and watch the news.
Terrible waste of time and money. Get a message the morning of the there is no food, even after I paid for five (5) lunches. Not even an offer of a refund. The we get there at the allotted time only to find the place deserted with nothing even open but a tour of an empty park. None of the stores or markets that were advertised were open. And there were no workers other than what seems to be maintenance people trying to clean the dirt of off the dirt. I was expecting to see the equivalent of the Polynesian Center on Oahu, and what I got was an off ramp in the Bronx. Damn shame, this could be a very nice place.

Great structure but no need for animals
Amazing and beautiful structure to walk around. Nice covered area to have drink/snack. Animals unnecessary. Elephants exhibiting stressed behaviour.

Be prepared for a long drive!
Okay, so be prepared for spending time in a mini bus! The tour operator will collect you at the pick up point/hotel and depending on the location of said hotel, expect a 3 hour drive to the first stop which includes a small museum, the cemetery of fallen POW's (the cemetery is immaculately maintained) and a photo opportunity of the bridge over the River Kwai (you will spend 30 minutes here). From here, you will board a train and travel a further 1 hr to Tham Krasae Death Railway Bridge where you will disembark and get to walk along the bridge and take photo's. Your mini bus will meet you here, and then you will drive back to Bangkok which is 4 hrs! So in summary, prepare for 6+ (closer to 7 hours) driving! Take nothing away from the guides, they are great, but it is a long day!

      A fun day.
Enjoyable day , Rach the guide coped well with the weather and the need to change the format of the day. The lunch was good and the transport comfortable.

      Day Trip from Bangkok
Well organized with early morning hotel pick up and return at about 3:30 pm. Return by boat was pleasant with an excellent lunch aboard. Would have liked more history of the area in the guides presentations.

      Disappointed and stressful experience
I booked the 3D2N River Kwai tour (6-8 January 2025) with a pickup from Bangkok at a cost of £670. On the evening of 5th January I received an email telling me the Floathouse room was not available and could I delay the tour until the 7th. This was not possible as we had arranged flights to Laos around the Kwai schedule. After a very stressful couple of hours and numerous emails, your company agreed we would continue as planned, albeit a much earlier start time than originally stated. However there were several significant omissions to the trip we had paid for and we did not visit the following: 1. The Thailand-Burma Railway Centre interactive museum 2. The Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre 3. The Mon Tribal Village, Golden Rock, Buddha image cave and village school 4. One night at the FloatHouse River Kwai (which was one of the chief reasons for booking this particular tour) 5. The full ride on the Death Railway Train We had to argue with our guides on the coach to Kanchanaburi to ensure we would be transported to the Home Phutoey Hotel - this really added to our already stressful experience. As your company did not fulfill the tour we had booked, I would consider a partial refund should be made to us. There was a significant difference in price between the two hotels as well as us missing out on parts of the tour. We travelled from the UK specifically to do this once-in-a-lifetime experience so you can imagine our disappointment. Despite two emails to your company, no reply has been received. I feel I need to warn other people to avoid them experiencing this kind of situation.

Nice evening out, experience could easy be improved.
Great views and ambiance. Need to improve quality and variety of foods. The live entertainment was okay, but if you want people to dance, you should go with a DJ that specializes with this. It would have been nice to have someone identify the temples and significant buildings as we approached them. Still a nice evening on the water.

Really worth but avoid the return cruise
Napat, our guide was superlative, extremely prepared, clear and with a perfect English. Ayutthaya is amazing and worth to visit as well it was the king summer palace. The only non optimal part of the tour was the lunch in the returning cruise to Bangkok. It was relatively low quality and also not very tasty. I would suggest to use the same tour operator but avoid the cruise option

      Informative and fun
Would have loved a little more time at some of the visit locations. Was very informative but would have loved for more information on route as the guide was then in another bus

The lack of a 'guide' for the 'guided' tour was disappointing. Buy late, overpriced if bought early.
The format of the trip was fine, the execution less so. Starting at 6am is not great for many, it can lead to late arrivals, especially since only a few fancy hotels are used for pickup. I imagine the traffic could be better but most of the journey is out of town anyway. The main issue with this particular trip was that the guide was not really informative and, when he did speak, off-colour and non-PC jokes in broken English were not useful or welcome. A major problem was that we were not 'guided' but simply told "We are here for X minutes, meet at the bus there", which is a chauffeur service really. The JEATH museum was a case in point, we were told to walk through the exhibit and meet afterwards, no context from the guide at all. It was fine but no different to going there under one's own steam. However, there was supposed to be 'model' exhibits - soldiers and prisoners etc - we did not see these and were whisked away, basically, we saw a room of photos, not a great experience. The lunch place was well situated - great river view - but one is having lunch at 11:30am - in our case with no breakfast - so it is a strange experience. We had particular trouble because, despite a large range of buffet food available, there was no food suitable for Vegans at all. There was a nice walk available from the lunch place, "cave over there" was the guides indication. We walked along that track too, the cave is actually worth visiting, no guide information however. The optional 25-minute boat ride up to the bridge itself was confusing - we missed the chance to do it because we thought about it - having spend the entire day on similar boats in Cambodia just before - and they were gone. It turns out that it is more like 10 mins so not really worth the extra money anyway. Similarly, with the train journey, we were told we should buy the VIP seats because, otherwise, we would stand for an hour instead - the regular train fare was included. We opted for the regular journey - like the locals! There were almost no locals and there were plenty of perfectly fine wooden seats available, although the guide neglected to mention where we got off (the original bridge station as it turned out) so we had to go looking for him in the good seats to find out. The train itself was hugely delayed, twice, so we had to wait at the station for a long time, they didn't bring the vehicle to replace the journey - it is just a hot train after all - so we arrived home at 6:30 instead of 4 or so, not a big deal but annoying without food etc. Overall ,it was the price (50% higher because I booked in plenty of time as well, which is unfair and annoying), without that guided experience, it is a series of shuttles between trains and boats, all available to all, so no benefit for an expensive layout was experienced.
