The tour was well-timed at 4 hours and the afternoon start (1PM/13:00) was great, as we preferred to sleep in. The guide was a seemingly very nice person as well. The tour did accomplish the goal of visiting 3 temples in Chiang Mai, one of which was Wat Doi Suthep, a must-see temple in Chiang Mai. The last time I was there was over 20 years ago so it was fun to see how the area has changed. So, generally, mission accomplished. However... our guide had a very poor knowledge of English. He could fluently deliver the info he had memorized about the handful of things he pointed out at the temples. But if asked a question about it, or about anything, he could not answer. He could only repeat a portion of what he had already said. We got more info by scanning a QR code at the temple than from our guide. While there were other guides there who were pointing out features of the temple, sharing historical info and fables, etc, ours could only say “same as other side” and point out trees with universal names, like “Banyan tree” and “tamarind”. He was also so low energy that it was a pretty quiet trip. I felt bad for the Korean ladies on our trip, who despite the evidence that our guide was completely unable to guide us, kept asking questions, and getting unrelated answers. I think by the end the English speaking one was pretending to translate for the other, and just making things up. Even I was able to answer a question that our guide couldn’t. By the end, my husband and I just wanted to get back to the hotel. It was as if our guide’s lack of excitement sapped ours as well. All that aside, the temples are quite beautiful, and the fact that we were there in shoulder season made them less crowded, and easier to enjoy/appreciate. Wat Suandok was almost empty, which was great. I would recommend this tour for the sites, and go with the expectation that the guide is there just to facilitate transport and smooth entry to sites. Bonus if he speaks the advertised language.

We were collected on time and in total there were 9 of us on the tour, mainly Brits and Americans.
Our tour guide Game was very knowledgeable and helpful and gave a good commentary as the tour progressed. Our tour comprised of visits to 3 different temples, 2 in the city and 1 about 30 minutes away on a hillside. Each temple was more impressive than the last and the sights were breathtaking.
The driver was good and all entrance fees etc were included in the tour.
This was a great introduction to Chiang Mai and we'd certainly recommend it.

There were only 3 of us on this tour which was awesome, plus a driver and a tour guide (whom spoke English). I can't remember her name, but she was fantastic. She gave us so much historical information on Chiang Mai. After the last temple visit, she took us to the jade factory where we got a tour and learned how to spot fake jade. She then asked what our plans were for lunch and recommended some great restaurants. Overall a great way to see the city/historical sites if you don't have a car.

Overall a nice tour, would recommend. Tour guide kept the tour moving. The tour was on time and informative! Entry fees were included in price. Recommend going early in the day to avoid lines.

The Good:
Tour guide was very friendly and was very knowledgeable about each location. The locations themselves were interesting and worth seeing, especially Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep in the mountain. It was truly stunning. The ride around town was good too and the vehicle was fine and had working A/C.
Wishlist:
I wish more temples had been on the Temple tour. 2 more could have easily been added, especially in the old city where so many temples are so close to one another.
I wish the Jade portion had been omitted. I don't like being taken to a commercial establishment whose sole purpose is to high pressure you into buying stuff. It felt very uncomfortable and if left me with a bad feeling about the tour itself.
At the very least, list it on the schedule of things you are going to do. If this had been omitted, we could easily have fit in another temple. This was a temple tour after all, not a Jade tour.

We got to see 3 temples. The Forrest Temple was the best, so peaceful and less crowded than others. It's a must see! Guide was knowledgeable, group was small.

Very nice tour, led by our tour guide, Frankie. He picked me up punctually, where I joined the rest of a small group (6 of us). We went to 3 temples, the first in the centre of the old town, Wat Chedi Luang, then to the famous temple, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, at the top of the mountain. We stopped on the way at Wat Pha Lat, a forest temple, which was both serene and spectacular. Our guide was very good at every step. We finished at a jade factory and then sampled some local delicacies in the market before our return.hourney.
I would highly recommend this tour.

We did enjoy this tour, but the guides English was not great and she was hard to understand at times. But she was very friendly and helpful. Tour did feel rushed at times, would of liked more time on doi suthep. We went to a “jade museum” at the end of the tour which was obviously just to get us to purchase from the shop. Hotel pickup and drop off provided, water also provided.

This was our last tour in Chaing Mai, so maybe we were temples out. Our guide was very informative and shard a lot of information. While we appreciated it all at times it was overwhelming and we would have liked more opportunities to take pictures. The day flowed well.

They go around and through the old town, even picked up near the airport. If you contact them & tell them where you are, I’m sure they’ll advise. I’m friends with the tour guide who looked after us on Facebook and will message her with your details if you like

You have listed two options for pickup. One says Four Seasons and the other says "Chiang Mai city hotels". I wasn't sure which of those to choose. We will be staying at the Shangra La hotel .

You should choose Chiang Mai City Hotels. When you do there will be a section for you to write in your hotel.

It depends on type of tours you want to book. Look at details of your schedule and details of all tours that you may interested to go for a visit. Normally it would tell you number of hours needed for touring. Why not talk to your travel agent or tour operator if you have one.

How long is the Tour, I know is half day but at what time I will be back at my hotel, I want to schedule a cooking class in the afternoon and want to know if I'll be back by 4:00pm.

Normally a half day tour will last about 4 hours. For this particular tour, morning tour start 8:45 AM and afternoon tour start 1:45 PM. I am sure you will be back by 4 PM. A cooking class normally it will start right before supper time, so you can learn how to cook easy Thai dishes for your own dinner. I suggest you to check with the tour company before booking. Actually, you should read all information on their site to help you for whatever you want to plan for any tours you have in mind. Hope this help.
