          Great fun in Chiang Mai
Booked the class through our hotel and we were picked up at 9am before being taken to a local market where the instructor talked us through some ingredients used in Thai cooking. Then we were taken to the cooked school and shown around the garden. Before preparing the ingredients and cooking the food. We made 3 courses a soup a curry and a stir fry. Afterwards we made mango sticky rice and Thai milk tea, then we were dropped back at our hotel. Overall I felt the price of 1000 baht per person was fair and there was a lot of food to eat. The instructor was good and very friendly and fun day overall. Would defiantly recommend a visit.

A great morning. We started at the local market and then had a tour of the organic garden at Mamanoi. We were able to choose what we wanted to cook and then prepared and cooked three courses to eat ourselves. Everyone in our group was very friendly and the staff were really patient with a 7 year old girl in our group, helping her cut and prepare. Highly recommend and Arm was a great teacher!!!

          So worth it!
We LOVED our trip to Mama Noi’s cooking school. We, a family of 4 with a 9 and 18 yr old, started the morning with a super informative trip to the market where we were introduced to many of the ingredients we would be cooking with. It was an eye opening experience to see the range and quality of the produce being sold there and Nook, our guide and tutor, was very helpful, funny and informative. We then headed to the school itself for a tour of the gardens which were amazing too - not to mention we all loved meeting the two resident tortoises and cats. The class itself worked like clockwork even though we had our 10yr old who had never cooked before. The tutor, Nook, was fun and kind and we were all amazed that a short time later we had all created three fantastic dishes! After we had eaten these we finished off by making Thai sticky rice and mango as well as Thai tea. We left feeling full of great food and grateful for such an excellent experience.

Great way to get to know Thai cuisine :)
Our experience was great! We stopped at the local market first and got introduced to some of the ingredients before heading to the cooking school! Pick-up and drop off was included (anywhere near Chiang Mai) which was super convenient!:) You get to pick from a number of options and make three main meals plus dessert and Thai tea! Maddie was our teacher and she was great! Super attentive, kind, funny and very sweet! Thank you Maddie!

This course takes you from seeing the food market and their garden where they grow all the vegetables, to preparing some of the best Thai dishes. Instructor Fern is just amazing, she explains everything between preparing. This is definitely the best experience in Chiang Mai!

          Perfect cooking experience in Chiangmai
It's an amazing experience in Chiangmai. We did join the best cooking school :D The teacher Arm and all staffs are super kind, nice and funny. We visited the local market and learnt more about Thai Cuisine. Also, the best thing that we can choose the dishes we want to cook, there is no fixed menu that you have to follow. Really like the flexible menu for all people who join the class. Highly recommended the best activity.

          Perfect fun
No lie, the best Thai food we have had on our trip so far (we have been here 4 days - we ate at House of Ginger and the Four Seasons restaurant Khao, the street market food was VERY good as well but we ate different dishes). We came in, a family of 7, and Arm was super patient with us and shared detailed information about the ingredients and process. Shout out to ARM! It is December 2022 and they just reopened for the first time since Covid 3 months ago so they could use the business, head here for a really fun experience and great food.

This Thai cooking class was really, really enjoyable. We were picked up at our hotel and then stopped at a local market. We were taken around to a few vendors and then were able to explore on our own for about 15 minutes or so. We hopped back into the vehicle and were taken to the organic farm and cooking school. Blue was our chef and showed us some lovely produce in the garden and we got to feed two tortoises. We then got to choose a stir fry dish, a soup, and a curry dish we wanted to cook. Blue was very encouraging and kept the mood light as we cooked our dishes together. We all sat down to eat the dishes (really big portions) and then made mango sticky rice and Thai tea. Blue also handed out little cookbooks at the end so we could make the recipes at home. I would recommend this cooking class to anyone! Thanks, Blue and the rest of the staff!

We went to the Mama Noi cooking school yesterday and we could not be happier. Our guide, Aam, was super nice and knowledgeable about the food and really good at giving instructions. Also I can’t eat gluten and he was very good at providing me with gluten-free ingredients and he knew exactly what I could eat and not. There were many good dishes to choose from and the kitchen was clean and tidy, and in a really pretty environment. We also got a small cooking book at the end. 10/10 would recommend

We were a group of four matched with twonother groups, totalling 9 people with two instructors. It was a great experience, highly recommend if you're interested in thai cooking. They prepare ingredients beforehand and you mix them together. I think it's highly dependent on getting a good instructor, ours was the best.

Out of a two week post-grad trip around southeast Asia, this cooking class was one of the best things that my friends and I chose to do. Mama Noi is beautiful and the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We absolutely loved our head chef, Mai, who helped us rather inexperienced cooks create Thai masterpieces. We all made Thai tea to start, followed by three courses — a stir fry, an entree and a curry. Each participant could choose what they wanted to cook individually, with plenty of options for dietary restrictions. Everything was individualized, down to flavors and salt/spice levels. The result was one of the best meals we had in our entire two-week trip. And if we weren’t full enough, we all made mango sticky rice to finish the evening. A MUST do in Chiang Mai!!!

This was an amazing experience! The cooking school is absolutely stunning, and a lot of the ingredients are actually grown at the school! Our instructor, Mai, was super nice and funny, loved her. I cooked green curry, pad thai, and chicken coconut soup. My partner cooked sweet & sour soup and cashew nut chicken. The whole group got to make mango sticky rice and Thai iced tea. You will have several different options to choose from to cook. This was one of the highlights of our trip. Def recommend!

Highly recommend this activity to anyone who is looking for an introduction to Thai cuisine. Our teacher Gobby, was very funny and welcoming.

We were able to choose three different items to cook and a curry paste. We prepped all meals then cooked them one by one. I made Holy Basil Chicken (Stir-fry), Tom Yum Soup and Thai Green Curry.
My partner made Chicken and Cashew nut Stir Fry, Chicken Coconut Soup and Khao Soi. We also made Thai Tea - all very delicious.

We were given a recipe book with the dishes we created, as well as those we didn’t have the chance to make.

The school itself is located on a farm on the outskirts of Chiang Mai Old Town. It’s a very beautiful setting for the class and a very calm environment. Gobby showed us the garden, it was cool to see how the vegetables that would be used in the class grow.

I would recommend this class to anyone, if you have the time do the full day class. If you only have a short amount of free time, take the short morning or afternoon class. You won’t regret it.

If you enjoy cooking or eating, you should definitely book this cooking experience. The instructor Mai was very friendly, helpful, and engaging. Her English was great and there was no misunderstandings. There’s also helper instructors throughout so if you are an inexperience cook, they will be quick to help.

We stayed near the old city, so pick up was 9am for us. We picked up 4 more people and and we got to the market around 930am and learned what the ingredients look like in the market. Here you have an opportunity to buy drinks or snacks if you want to eat a little. We got to the farm and toured their beautiful space and organic garden around 1020am. We started cooking around 1045am and finished our 3 main dishes at noon. You get to pick one dish from 3 categories: stir fry, soup, and curry, so you will end up with 3 main dishes in total. Mango sticky rice and Thai tea dessert is always included. We were done by 1pm and back before 2pm! The day flew by so fast and we loved eating everything we cooked. You get a very cute cookbook as a souvenir so you can recreate the dishes at home.

What a great experience! I love the market they took us to - a bit outside the old city and full of locals / amazing food choices, I bookmarked it to go back again. The cooking school property and garden are gorgeous - such a treat to walk around, and to taste the fresh herbs and gardens as we learned about them. They have a good selection of recipes to choose from and they make everything very easy for you. Our chef / guide Arm was incredible - such an amazing kind personality, made the whole experience that much better. Would definitely recommend this school for an educational, fun, delicious evening!

This was absolutely a highlight of my time in Chiang Mai. The class was impeccably organized, and I loved how each person got to choose their own dishes to cook. Even though everybody was making different things, our guide Arm led everybody so seamlessly. He was very helpful and informative. I can’t recommend this experience enough!
