Absolutely marvelous tour by an extremely interesting guide, Maggie. She explains everything in so many details, it's just so enjoyable + she helped me through the Monk trail with kindness. I highly recommend Maggie!

I am going to give a really honest review about this place. When i first booked this tour i wanted to do something where I can see the elephants but of course not ride them. I wanted to do something that was ethical where I could see them up close. After reading countless reviews I figured this one seemed alright. The hike to the waterfall was awesome, the hike to see the first set of elephants was ok. Sure they seemed ok but they encourages us to splash them with cold water. And I felt so stressed out for the elephants with a bunch of tourist in front of them getting splashed nonstop for hours and getting their photos taken and told to stand still. To me this was the most unethical portion of the encounters. It did not seem like they were mistreated but I am not sure as to what “training” they endured to obey all these commands. I didnt splash them i gently pet them and took some photos from afar. The rest of the elephants seemed of and were not being splashed just fed. Some we couldnt touch at all. The rafting at the end was so nice and relaxing. I really enjoyed that. With that being said, you decide if it is ethical. I know they need money to help care for these majestic animals, i just hope they are treated good .

I did the Elephant Sanctuary, Monk Trail & Doi Suthep Tour with Ronnie, and it was amazing! Ronnie was super friendly and helpful, teaching us a lot about the places and culture. The experience with the elephants was incredible, as we were a small group of just four people and had the elephants and the sanctuary all to ourselves. It was truly fantastic, and I highly recommend it!

The company completely forgot us. We had to call and eventually they picked us up. They told us our tour we originally booked and paid for was no longer available. They offered another one of their tours which was the elephant and waterfall. It felt very commercial as they are pushing hundreds of people through the sanctuary. We did another elephant tour at Care Pride Sanctuary which was much better.

Came on a day trip, saw a lot of elephants, fed them. Whilst they don't use chains or hooks etc. On leaving, I saw numerous handlers riding the elephants away. Since riding is not considered ethical, it left me feeling like I should have done a lot more research. The reviews I saw, looked like it was a good day out and ethical. The elephants were healthy but who knows if they're happy.

The trip is amazing. Picked up from our hotel by our fantastic driver Chay, nothing was too much trouble, he was excellent, even lent me some flip flops! We highly recommend the full day version with waterfall and rafting. It is worth coming to the Chiang Mai area for this trip alone. The elephants looked happy and well cared for. PON Elephant Thailand is taking care of animals. Lunch was really tasty & lots of free water available. Our guide Nana was the best! If you have the opportunity to choose a guide - choose her. She told us many interesting facts about elephants, the whole of Thailand and was very funny! We highly recommend this full day adventure trip!

Mr Chang made this tour brilliant, excellent day out, brilliant curry , great elephants and thoroughly recommended Bamboo rafting is great And just brave the waterfall you won’t regret it

This was a good hands on experience for getting up close with the elephants. The tour guide , Noi I think his name is, was excellent. He spoke excellent English and he has a great sense of humour.

Amazing experience and friendly staff. our guide Totu was the best and very knowledgeable. Elephants were beautiful and friendly as well

My girlfriend and i took the elephant tour in chiang mai today with Pon and i only have excellent words for the experience, especially our guide Noi, who was very friendly, kind and quite knowlegeble about the whole place. We were picked up perfectly in time and enjoyed a great tour. Elephants were well treated and never forced to do anything they didnt want. I would highly recommed this tour.

Mr Pon and the guides were incredible with me. They treated me so well and I felt so confortable with all of them that I would like to book another tour in the near future. Did the day tour with my wife and 4 others. Was an amazing experience and totally worth every baht. Our tour guide Noi was excellent and taught us some history of Chiang Mai.

Great Day with the Family at Pon Elephant. Our guide Tiutiu picked us up at the hotel en was entertaining, efucating about elephants and a Joy to have with you. We all enjoyed the day with the elephants. Feeding them, take a mudbath and Washington them. A must do when you are in Chang Mai. Dont ride elephants, support them by visiting Pon elephant and enjoy!
